I’m fairly new to the Genshin community but I really adore how close the different cast are. The Chinese VAs do covers together, the English VAs play games together, and several of the Japanese VAs stream together every now and then.

Hate to be that guy but I can hear the robotic autotune. Nonetheless, the final product is satisfactory. ETA: because people don't know how to read or follow a thread🙄. The harmonized parts esp. chorus were obviously heavily autotuned. That doesn't mean the VAs cannot sing. The reality of music production is they will polish what was recorded, so if you hear the slightly robotic sound, it usually means that the natural voice has been studio fixed for reasons. It doesn't always mean that the singers can't sing or they suck at singing. Sometimes studios autotune for style/artistic decisions or the recorded singing in some parts don't get the vibe. 🙄 Maybe, youtube some music production videos before thinking the worst?

I'm 100% jealous, motivated and impressed. Each of them had moments they shined so much. Albert epsecially took my by suprise as he was quite different from the rest and as such it came as a suprise. He also supports as the undertone when he sings with the others. Venti's unique touch and paimon and aether just sounding like the original... Bravo. Klee's solo also came where I expected. Awesome directing. Someone call the police cuz everyone here killed.

I'm not very sure why a lot of people think it's shocking for Chinese VAs to sing in Japanese... As a Chinese, Japanese is very easy to pronounce and sing along to, even if you don't understand the meaning of the lyrics, it's really easy to copy and follow to the tone and the pronunciation of the words. Not to mention kinsen studied in Japan before and Kana self-taught Japanese. I can sing in Japanese too, but I can't sing as well as them, I will have voice cracks here and there. Why did they find a Japanese song to cover though: These VAs are influenced by Japanese anime. Aside from them being Chinese VAs, they are also otakus, streamers, gamers, vtubers and utaites.

As a long time Goose House fan and this being probably my favorite GH song, it's pretty close, but I do think this one is better sung compared to the original. There is a wider range of voices and much more variation to how its sung, giving it a much more power and energy than the original, where you can only clearly distinguish 4 voices as most, which can blend together and sound pretty similar if you don't know the singers and have listened for a while. Hikaru Nara is honestly pretty impressive considering (this version anyways) is pretty different from their normal style, but they definitely took it to another level.

Hate to be that guy but I can hear the robotic autotune. Nonetheless, the final product is satisfactory. ETA: because people don't know how to read or follow a thread🙄. The harmonized parts esp. chorus were obviously heavily autotuned. That doesn't mean the VAs cannot sing. The reality of music production is they will polish what was recorded, so if you hear the slightly robotic sound, it usually means that the natural voice has been studio fixed for reasons. It doesn't always mean that the singers can't sing or they suck at singing. Sometimes studios autotune for style/artistic decisions or the recorded singing in some parts don't get the vibe. 🙄 Maybe, youtube some music production videos before thinking the worst?

I'm 100% jealous, motivated and impressed. Each of them had moments they shined so much. Albert epsecially took my by suprise as he was quite different from the rest and as such it came as a suprise. He also supports as the undertone when he sings with the others. Venti's unique touch and paimon and aether just sounding like the original... Bravo. Klee's solo also came where I expected. Awesome directing. Someone call the police cuz everyone here killed.
Everyone did great, my surprise were also Albert but Xiangling too. While everyone's voice is unique, Xiangling's VA voice left quiet an impression on me
I'm not very sure why a lot of people think it's shocking for Chinese VAs to sing in Japanese... As a Chinese, Japanese is very easy to pronounce and sing along to, even if you don't understand the meaning of the lyrics, it's really easy to copy and follow to the tone and the pronunciation of the words. Not to mention kinsen studied in Japan before and Kana self-taught Japanese. I can sing in Japanese too, but I can't sing as well as them, I will have voice cracks here and there.
Why did they find a Japanese song to cover though: These VAs are influenced by Japanese anime. Aside from them being Chinese VAs, they are also otakus, streamers, gamers, vtubers and utaites.
Chinese here as well. I tried singing along and it's fairly easy though ofc I mess up at some parts since Ive never properly learnt it before cause my club members refuses to pay the class fee which resulted my JPN teacher quitting...
As a Chinese, yeah I agree that Japanese is not too hard to pronounce and sing along to, but I think they were impressed by how fluent they sounded, and how they were able to pronounce so fluently WHILST singing like angels 🤧

As a long time Goose House fan and this being probably my favorite GH song, it's pretty close, but I do think this one is better sung compared to the original.
There is a wider range of voices and much more variation to how its sung, giving it a much more power and energy than the original, where you can only clearly distinguish 4 voices as most, which can blend together and sound pretty similar if you don't know the singers and have listened for a while. Hikaru Nara is honestly pretty impressive considering (this version anyways) is pretty different from their normal style, but they definitely took it to another level.
