I just want more to do in this game. It's great that Sega is adding new skills and systems, but there's barely any stuff to use them on unless you want to run the same 3 pieces of content on a constant loop.
@@ImmortalLorient Oh, there is plenty to use MARS on, just not much that could survive it's sheer two minutes of hell it can dish out, aside from bosses. Even the gigantix mobs melt pretty good from some blasts from Hydra. XD
Since I play the Ranger class the most, the Hydra and Scyllas Configuration was the one I liked the most. You can do the Death Circle on the bosses with insane ease, and you can even play Photon Cannon from the Marvel Super Heroes game, or a Gundam! I really liked the system! It's fun!
Not gonna lie, was kinda hoping for a mini story of us finding it with manon or something, or zephetto left a message saying "hey its dangerous to go alone, take this" kinda situation.
there being NO story for it is a huge disappointment, especially when they were alluding to it in the previous story. i'm starting to believe we really won't get any more story until next year.
Think we'll prolly get that via story scenes even if it's already unlocked for now. Maybe we'll even get a scene for it during our fight with purple pepsi man.

I’m not too sold on MARS yet. I’m best in slot on all gear and armor, and we were told that it would scale off of our gear. However, it doesn’t seem to scale off of our potency unless I’m just missing something. It’s not anywhere near as good as I thought it would be. Granted I haven’t maxed out MARS yet, but everything is at least level 5 and all levels after are worth way less per level.
@@JRDeBo Yeah, that seems to be the consensus. I’m north of 4300+ BP with 292% potency, so I just expected it to scale better. Maybe that’s just on me for having higher expectations for it after hearing them say it would scale with gear. I really do like the concept and looks of MARS though, and while I’m not sold on it currently, I’ll hold off on final judgement until I get more skill points.
i’ve been getting better at aiming hydra canon and timing it but i really want more time with it to get comfortable with pacing and implementing MARS into boss fights and UQs
You can farm the M.A.R.S skill points in the lv 90 areas as well i.e Resol, Lab, Mt. Magnus so you just don't have to do triggers although they are far more common that way. I have done about 10 triggers and gotten a point 9 out of the 10 times without using increased drop rates so they aren't 100% but very common more rare to not get one than getting one.
I love the hydra central canon mode its very accurate to the real thing, takes forever to set up but deal massive damage, first time seeing 240000 for falz
I feel like with mars it personally feels definitely significantly more stronger and on breaks with bosses nidhogr with blight and shifts/deband really tops out the max damage possible with a well timed weapon action charge absolutely melts boss HP and definitely makes harder content easier but also at the same time still uses a good balance of personal skill for it to make the most out of it
not sure how i feel about the mars updater skill point system. it's going to make professional farming teams get on a level far above everyone else very quickly. not sure how else you would implement it though.
Speed is definitely not the M.A.R.S. strong suit, it's power more than makes up for that though, Hydra should absolutely crush bosses during down phases with that cannon.
You know what's crazy is that I'm the cast in this video and I know keroppi is a huge Gundam fan, but in this video none of my accessories are visible and I have a whole wing Gundam zero look that he would have liked but on his PC none of my accessories can be seen😢 I'm curious as to why he couldn't see my entire look... I wonder if it's a glitch or maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm on console... But that shouldn't matter... should it? 🤔🧐
The color seems to be tied to certain colors, perhaps CAST body part colors, as mine currently matches my OG RAcast outfit's primary color I use as a "mobile powered armor suit".

MARS stands for Multirole ARKS Reactive System, it's an acronym, so to say MARS system you are actually saying Multirole ARKS Reactive System system, just like if you say ATM machine you are saying Automated Teller Machine machine
And I can fix it, all they would have to do is say the A stands for Assault and S stands for Suppression, changing the acronym to Multirole Assault Reactive Suppression, then you could say MARS system and it would still make sense

Good thing I watched this. Thx I'll be checking the MARS language if there's EN voice on JP server & I'll test it if it's available, then change back depends on if I really want to understand what it says every time I use it

I love that scyllas weapon action is a super long build-up orbital cannon and destroys everything in a large area, mars is very cool
The “LTQ” is also a good way to finally test your moves and counters like base… it’s something NGS should have had since day one lol.

I believe it scales off of your BP, and right now, the top scale is 4000BP and higher.

Yeah I think it needs to be changeable at least for our Sets of it, because having to only change it from City Hubs is kinda a hassle.

If u have added wasted ur skill points then u can re-add them in the mars2 or mars3 preset

It is very diminishing return both on power distribution and updates to skill point conversion rate so it is really not an issue.
