They should make PSO2 NGS 2, where they add even more scratches, remove the marketplace completely, and every weapon only has 2 PA's. In all seriousness though, I just have no faith in NGS anymore, it's sad. Some of my favorite times in PSO2 were when DQ first came out and we ran it over and over trying to get the crystal drop so you could make your Stil weapon week 1 for your solo endless runs lol. Setting alarms to catch every TPD when it first came out then immediately going back to sleep probably wasn't the smartest or healthiest point in my life, but I remember it fondly and find myself missing being able to just go run whatever with team. See you in the Team VC when MH Wilds come out lmao.
I want the game to improve as well, I hope the story gets better and they start adding in actual characters, like Glen, he was a good character in Chapter 4, but then they changed his whole personality, I miss the unique character interaction from base game
@KyoSenpaii it is a shame because base game had a massive array of diverse and interesting characters, some of the behavioural traits were definitely exaggerated, but that is just to sell the point across, because if they behaved normally like a normal person you would not know, that's why there are exaggerated what is beyond normal that's what made them fun, I can remember a lot of Base game characters, I may not remember their names because that's just a personal problem, the same is with their story, but I remember them nonetheless because of their personalities. And NGS lacks this on a fundamental level apart from Glen, his personality was unique enough for me to remember, it's not like those three cast Hadi, Jalil, and Mohsen, that I barely remember even exist, and I had to Google them to even remember their names, because they have no personality what so ever, they haven't done anything to be memorable, and I barely remember the existence even though they are a fundamental part of the concerts, I wish the NGS NPCs had more flavour
What made PSO fun was the variety of weapons and mags. They took all the meaning away since you can only really choose two weapon classes. In the original you might find a Twin Saber and suddenly you're using that for twenty levels until you get the Dragon Slayer in V.Hard and maybe use that for thirty levels. Not to mention these weapons all have unique special attacks, your play style could suddenly change because you found a rare weapon. Maybe you could build a new mag around it and that becomes a new focus. You see what I'm getting at I hope. In this game the mags don't matter and you're basically stuck with two weapons that behave the same no matter the rarity.
Yeah to me all the content creators that act like new gear and augments are a gamechanger all the time just get me jokingly saying "YOOOO NEW STAT STICK DROPPED LETS GOOOOO" because reality of ngs is they are just stat sticks.
We just need upper and middle management to play other games, ngs is stuck in 2000s mindset. I'd like more content as much as anybody but its expensive and doing proper game loops is kinda cheap.
Ok pso2 ngs is a dead game or you could say better its on verge of shutting down, the game offers nothingfor new and current playerbase, Sega fucked up due to greedyness, cause so far the only thing they actually invest time and effort was scratches, they make us wait months for content that last 5 minutes but they cant hold scratches for 1 month, pso2 ngs sadly wont be growing has majority already throwed the game into the dumpster, if the company dont care about the consumer then it doesnt deserve our attention and money, i love the franchise but until they make a new game with a new lead team and superiors i wont make a comeback, they fucked up too many times in a row for me, they would do much better job if they shutdown the game already and spend 2-5y to make a new fresh game with tons of content and with a damn good story to emerge the player with the world.
Why are players leaving NGS? Because SEGA gets new players into the final content too quickly with catch-up gear and then the new players have nothing to do because they don't know what to do. New content comes and in 2 weeks the new content is killed by the next one. The loot for ultra-hard content is grotty and the limited time Urgent Quest noob version usually has exactly the loot that should drop in the normal version of the ultra-hard content!!!! Why does NGS have few players? Because SEGA doesn't advertise Global. If SEGA brought in more languages, far more players would give the game a chance. For Germans alone, it would help if NGS was available in German, as many have problems with English and therefore don't pick up the game. Kimura is a joke for NGS! He doesn´t play the game. If he woud, he would know that the game isn´t perfect in many ways. Loot, longlife content, balanceing.

I wasn't much for story but the characters all felt really memorable in base game. Lisa, mother, phaleg just to name a few all really stick with you
