    I was extremely happy about the extra materials to trade in for, like the ability to switch class cubes to n-ex cubes and all the rest in that shop, and even more thrilled about the guaranteed way to obtain the lc capsules in the growthment exchange! I like a lot in the update very happy. Ty for the vid critcaster, always enjoy watching!

      Today's video is mainly how to customize and where to farm the discs to do it. There will be another video though (hopefully later this week), that will go in-depth about each option for all of the customizable abilities. I just didn't want to jump the gun and say whats good or not for the customization options without having the materials required yet to actually test them. I also wanted to see how veterans of each class feel on the customizations to get different opinions since not every option is cut and dry.
      How fast this gets done will depend on how hard people farm these discs and how long the price in the market to buy these will be bad

    400 discs?! I guess I don't understand why all the mat numbers seem so ridiculously high. Though I like that we're getting, seems sort of like skill crafting in base pso2.

      It should be cheap to just craft the Custom PA but expensive to fully level up the Custom PA.
      Akin to Base PSO2 when each PAs/Techs had Levels.

    Crit, I tried that second one for talis. It sounded like you would be able to cast techniques from your floating talis from the weapon action, but what it actually does is it makes my shots hitscan instead of projectile, allowing me to bypass parts that might block a weakpoint for example. The descriptions in the game were not very clear 😅

      Gotcha lol, hitscan might even be better than what I said then! Didn't get a chance to buy the skill when I recorded this and was going based off of what it was saying in the text

      I believe you're right. I thik the hitscan helps me deal more dps. I'll wait for your in depth video on the customizations. I always learn something new from you.

    So, has anyone done testing to see if perks like "increased attack range" or "increased distance forward" actually *gain* anything from additional stages beyond the first? For example, Thousand Blows for Knuckles has this perk on its Type 1, and the boost on its own is pretty significant for mobbing purposes. However, the UI is exceedingly unhelpful with these particular perks because it provides no scaling system to draw an opinion on, just a flat descriptor. A cursory glance at Reddit has not yielded the results I need either.
    Spending almost a million Meseta just to backpedal the drawback of +6 PP per activation to +2 would be a pretty severe oversight when most other options on the table get pretty significant perks at higher Customization Levels.

    Btw for anyone who does take the skill for talis thinking it will actually deploy the talis it doesn't,it does however deploy the skill from the target so it is faster to hit them but there's still hope that we will be able to change the normal attack to do that

    The market rn for these things is abysmal, lol. But it did just release, i suppose. I can't wait to see how the upgrading of these works in practice.

    I wonder why they focused so much on these kind of customizations and less on actually visible shields, armors, units.

      I prefer if NGS went away with literal Armor since it does get in the way of fashion.
      But "Units" remind me of mini cons in an old transformer game. NGS could turn Units into small robots which can combine with your Mag in order to pull off a Mag Photonic Blast like Base PSO2.
      It could be a revamp of Auxiliary too.
      Sadly, I doubt Sega is going to evolve Units and just repeat Base PSO2. It's the easier option to design.

    Sega why give to HC for daggers and not ripper :'c. I rarely use that pa. I just got to wait for the others then *sigh*.

    I find this feature of customization for your photon Arts and techniques very limited yes you get three types of upgrades I was hoping for all the photon Arts and techniques to get the ability to be customized

      They are slowly adding the rest for this system, next week we will a new set of customizations for all classes

    It just seems like something that could of been on the Skill tree thing. Only difference is you're not using skill points.

      Only real reason is crafted PAs are mutually exclusive. You can upgrade all of them, but you can only have one modification set at a time.

      Can you have multiple C PAs on one weapon per PA?
      I get that one PA cannot have multiple C PA Mods attached but the weapon being limited to only one C PA on top of its 4 other PAs/all Techs... Is not a good design decision.

      @@absolstoryoffiction6615 : At the moment, a C PA is set up as a modifier to an existing PA. You do Swift Smash, you do whatever modded or un-modded version you have set.
      When they add more to the C PA system though, each PA can be set to have its own mod. Their tabs setup here indicates they'll be adding the option to more of them.
      Some people have put in feedback requesting an option to map C PAs and regular PAs separately on the same palette though.

      And remapping C PAs & Normal PAs is a good move if Sega does it. Since I don't know if a fully upgraded C PA will be lost if you swap it with its Default PA. In Base PSO2, that can happen where a fully upgraded C PA is lost if you try to convert the PA into its Default version.
      Especially since New PAs in NGS is out of the table for future content.

      Speak for yourself, I had no idea the disks were in the Dread Scale Exchange, that's pretty huge for me.
