This set is phenomenal. I am so jealous of the person who bought it. I hadn't even noticed the hardware initially because the pieces were pretty monotone. So beautiful.
Those pieces were the best I’ve seen from anyone. The contrast between the dark cases, bright hardware and dark stained wood was so sharp and clean. Really great work!

absolutely beautiful. I am also into furniture flips at 69 years old, but it takes me much longer after having cancer and a stroke, but I push forward.
Wow! Turned out so beautiful, a Japanese Zen vibe. Love how the black contrast allows the beautiful brass handles to be seen, which you couldn’t really see in the original pieces.
Your designs are incredible. The colors you use and match with stain are wonderful. I love the way you used the pulls on the sides of the drawers. So creative and made a very dramatic difference. Also, I have to add that your room demos are much saner than Chip and Joannas.
The fact that you were frustrated at first and didn't wanna go on, and then you got the motivation you needed and ended up having the biggest profit yet 👌🏻 that just shows that we always have to be patient and that everything happens for a reason. I mean, the set turned out just gorgeous, so simple and classic. You did amazing 💜

I love this video so much. So often I run into oopsies or frustrations and just want to toss stuff down my driveway (its a huge hill down to a cul-de-sac 🤣) or give up. You took a break when things weren't going quite as planned, you didn't clean your sprayer last time you used it, but just got after it anyway and, when you realized you didn't clean the piece before sanding...you just got after it and did it then. I love that you highlighted those oopsies instead of making your video seem like everything always goes as planned 😜 Your realness is refreshing and I was so happy to see this video today!!!

I just discovered your channel and I absolutely love it! I furnished most of my home with Knoll, Pearsall, Heywood Wakefield, Broyhill Brasilia, Kent Coffey Perspecta and Stickley furniture that I got free on Craigslist. People in NYC are always giving away really good stuff! Of course my husband and I had to refinish some pieces but much of it was in great condition and didn't require too much work. Our house is now furnished but we still get still pick up free pieces for reselling and to occasionally swap out with some the pieces that we no longer want or need. We scored the very same set that you refinished here, free! Needless to say, we're keeping it. Great job with the redo. We've used painted finishes on old Drexel Heritage, Ethan Allen and Thomasville dressers but never on the mid-century furniture. We are going to do exactly what you did with this set to ours. Thanks for the inspiration and step by step tutorial.

We're working on an MCM set now and this really gives us some inspiration! What a beautiful looking set you turned this into. When we saw the reveal, we were wondering where the hardware came from and had to go back and look at the original piece. Sure enough, it was there, but it blended in so much that we didn't even notice it the first time. Now it stands out beautifully against the black trim! Again, great job!!!!

Suggestion. Used closed toe boots to,work and maybe an indoor shop when you spray paint and clear coat.
Blown away once again. You absolutely killed it. It means so much more knowing all the work you put into it rather than going to a random furniture store. I'd be happy to spend $1200 on a set that was done with so much care.
I enjoy watching how you step back and admire your work. One of kind finish. My home is full of second chance items. My friends always ask how do you know. I see past the neglect, or just wear. So when i want change I do it on such a small budget.
