We’ve used our minivan many times to transport furniture I didn’t think would fit! If I’m going to pick something up, I have a big blanket that I put down in the van to protect the furniture from getting scratched. I also had a towing hitch installed and for bigger items, rent a small trailer from Uhaul to pull behind my van - way cheaper than renting a truck!
Great purchase! As a long time viewer, I know Dean will be sneaking back there every chance he gets.

AHHHH! Round Top! I never go to Marburger anymore. I shop the "fields" exclusively. You can get much better prices there. However, it's not clean and put together like Marburger. Cole's is also interesting. And you must eat at Royer's when you go. It's an iconic place known primarily for their pies, but everything is good there. During the antique show, you must have reservations.
That looked so much fun to go see but the prices of some things 😲, I love the sideboard you bought though, and you always make me laugh with how you make eveything fit in the minivan, I only have a car and my mother use to think it was a truck whenever she would go buy plants and bark chippings, or when moving house and its filled to the point you need to push the door shut but you know when you open the door again its going to be an avalanche 🤣 another great video as always , lots of love from the UK xx

I felt overwhelmed the first time I went too but since I am coming from the Houston area I try to not miss it. Marburger is great for ideas but a bit too pricey for me. I suggest you visit Warrington for great deals and a lot of treasures! It’s a little bit further up the road and worth it.

Great purchase! I am sure you will sand it and treat it with oil... :-) I feel so much with you when loading the big stuff on the mini van! I have a FIAT 500 and when my daughter and I have to load stuff in it, all men around will stop, tell us that it will not work, but offer anyhow to help and we always refuse because we know how to do it. Loading a 4 x 5 meter carpet? Check! Loading a bed frame 1,60 x 2,00 meters? Check! ✊

Roadtrip/Driving Filming Hack: Mount a couple of GoPros on your A-pillars (or in the top corners of your windshield) to get 2 angles, clip the fun parts, and speed up the rest as a timelapse. If you don't have, or want to edit footage from, 2 cameras, use a 360° dashcam.
I'm just throwing that out there so your wife doesn't have to drive on every roadtrip since she hates it. 😃👍

Hey there DIY Wife! I have enjoyed watching you since the beginning! I’d love to build a dresser base like I’ve seen you do. Someday I will make the time… lol. I work at Lone Star Trailers here in Waco. I’ve watched you turn that minivan into the ultimate Mary popping bag a few times now and I keep thinking; why does she get a little aluminum trailer? You could have someone ( maybe us??) install a hitch for you on your van and with a light little trailer like that, you’d hardly feel it back there and you could move bigger items. Keep up the amazing work! Also, where did you learn those cabinet skills??
