- Just fill everything with water! If you like canning berries and fruit, you should try this recipe. It is the easiest recipe I have ever found. It is so simple that even beginners in canning can use it. This way, strawberries can be preserved for a long time without having to worry about them. This canning recipe works for other berries too. Ingredients and preparation:
1.5 kg strawberries
Lemon slices
Sprig of mint
Place 250-300 g of strawberries in a 1.5 litre jar
In a 3-litre jar I put 500 g of strawberries
100-110 g sugar per 1.5 litre glass
200 g sugar per 3-litre jar
Strawberries can be stored in this way for up to 1 year at a temperature of up to 25°C
