    Hello! Thanks for the video. I’ve never had any serious neck issues (although I do have SI & lumbar disc issues from an imbalance) until 5 days ago I strained my SCM and it is probably the most painful thing I’ve ever felt. My cheek, jaw, molars, tongue, and throat all hurt like I’m sick, plus I can feel a point that’s extremely sore in the middle of the muscle. But, the whole muscle up to the skull hurts. I realized if I lay flat without a pillow for awhile, it seems to relax, though this doesn’t completely relieve it. I’m making a plan to work harder on correcting shoulder & neck posture issues, but hopefully this device can help in the meantime to just relax the muscles. I have TMJ & asthma, so I think this contributed, with a shoulder yoga workout being the final straw. It’s frustrating that daily yoga isn’t enough to help with constantly using devices. Luckily, I do some breathing exercises lying on my back each day after my workout, so this will fit my routine. I found your channel looking for a review of this product, wondering if it’s safe after reading the Amazon reviews, and am now subscribed. Thank you!

    Thanks, Doc. I just got mine today and plan to try it out in a bit. I have cervical stenosis and a slight headache most of the time. I don't take a lot of pain relievers, and I hope not to, so maybe this little gizmo will buy me some time before I need to go to my pcp and get a referral to a specialist. The mri I had done about 7 years ago probably needs a redo anyway. I know I do have a lot of stiffness in my neck and my range of motion has definitely become much more limited.

    Back in 2010 I had 2 pretty severe back surgeries, first 1 was the removal of 6 discs that were gone replaced by plastic cages holding bone fragments. Day 2 was the fusion from T-10 to S-1. Somewhere the Surgeon messed up, fix the main problem but now I have to walk with a cane, never did before. Anyhow now my cervical is noticeably hunched. Will this help or is there any hope? I only had 6 hours of rehab over 3 days thanks to my insurance, Blue Cross, before they said "get him out of there, we are no longer covering any more treatment".

      @@michellevanderlinden2808 Yes, it helped. I'm not using it right now. What worked for me was doing lots of neck stretches. I found a 3-minute routine by a chiropractor named Mandel that is easy to follow. Some of the other stuff he puts out is over the top, but this only involved stretching. Did a lot of vertigo routines too and gradually found relief. I also take the OTC dizziness med every morning. Forget the name, but it starts with M and is for travel sickness. 10 tablets for $3 at WalMart. Good luck. Hope it improves soon.

    • @epmanualphysicaltherapy
      @epmanualphysicaltherapy  Год назад

      Hi Jamie, Great question! The RestCloud can be very helpful in restoring proper cervical curvature with consistent use. It's important to use it as instructed and should not be used as a substitute for your regular pillow. However, everybody's body composition is unique, and what works for one person may not work the same way for another. Individual responses can vary, and it's essential to pay attention to how you feel.
      As with any treatment or product, we encourage you to listen to your body and consult with healthcare professionals if needed, to tailor your approach and find what works best for your specific needs and condition.
      We wish you all the best in your road to recovery!🧡

We can't say exactly how many days and for how long you should consider neck traction as we don't know the extent of your diagnosis. We would suggest giving it a try for a few days and if you find some relief then it might be a good fit for you! 😄
