I've had this device for six months, and while using it gave temp relief, your tip of doing the chin tucks WHILE it's inflated is the first time I've ever felt a benefit from doing them. Fantastic tip, subbed!!
Got one. Trying it out. Quality of construction is ok. No Neck pain; spinal cord damage. Seems comfortable.
By the way, you can actually remove the bulb and tube while wearing the collar. There is a ball in the top of the in the tube that can be manoeuvred into place to seal the tube and then the majority of
tube and the bulb can be removed. You are left with only a very short length of tube that doesn’t get in the way
Genius! I've been using it for months and never realise that! Was always wondering what's that tiny ball doing lol
I just ordered it. Thank you
Great review, I was looking to see if I was crazy or anyone else also thought this tool is super handy, it has helped me a lot with my pinched nerve
I had severe neck pain due to pinched nerves, cervical stenosis, and arthritis. My P.A. recommended this to help ease the pain, and I tell you I was so grateful! It allowed me to actually open my eyes when I was in such pain.
Just an FYI: my P.A. quit and I have seen several others since and none of them knew about this device, which surprised me. Always do your research to find wonderful drs like this dr on RUclips.
Thank you for helping so many people make their lives tolerable.
Hi are you still well
I finally got mine today and cried in relief I can’t believe it finally 10 months of agony and being dizzy etc since I was hit while at a red light and now I could actually breath and play with the kids without being in agony
First let thank you for your detailed explanation in the video, but i have 3 questions:
1- For how long we should leave it inflated? For example and hour a day?
2- How i can know how much should i inflate it? (I don't want to inflate it too much, or less than it should be)
3- Can i sleep wearing it?
Thank you in advance
I love this thing! I'm actually wearing one right now.
Here’s a tip. I put a t shirt on underneath it. That wraps around your chin Adds more of a tight seal to it.
I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it is brilliant. Combined with exercises, my neck pain has eased off quite a lot. I have bulging discs in my neck and, although very uncomfortable, it actually takes the pressure off and gives me relief for up to 1 hour and a half after using. I know that doesn't seem a lot, but believe me, I'm just glad to get some pain relief.
This has made my shoulders, back, hips and knee sore. This is good, I know this means it's fixing me!
I am a monk and we have a LOT of physical issues .The information in your videos are very well explained and in detail , and cover most of the areas of the body. We are very grateful for sharing your knowledge and I wish for you to be healthy , safe from dangers and wise .

Haha, I just asked about these on another video and presto this one turns up in my feed... thank you, very helpful... this double chin tuck and the pillow case strap used to loosen up locked joints is really helping me a lot in only a few days... really appreciate your videos, thank you.
I purchased mine the other day and has been absolutely brilliant, I had a pinched nerve in my neck/ shoulder area which was hindering internal rotation of my shoulder and since using it , it has helped immensely getting getting movement back into my shoulder- I would recommend getting one if you have any neck / shoulder issues
Hey Jeff, that is great that this device has helped regain movement in your shoulder! Thank you for your response!
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy I was thinking about throwing a rope with a noose over a tall tree branch before I watched this video.
This neck brace stopped working after the third time I used it. The pump stop pumping. I want my money back.
@yogastaryoga2339 Bahahahahahhha where should I send the money?😊
How often can i use it during the day? I have straight neck and c5 c6 disc
Have a lot of spine damage up to c5. looks good; my pain is in the ulnar nerves mostly but I liked the Halo. think I'll try it just to hold up my head.
Is it safe for cervical straightening? And subluxation to c6 c7?
Could you please do a review of the Posture Pump?
I hope this is helping. I bought it last year but found it doesn't seem to evenly move my head up both front and back. But I am tucking it into the back of my head. I do feel a coolness back there...which is either a pinch or a release, perhaps. The ball pump stopped working well and the ball comes off. However, it is still workable if I pump it from a particular angle.
Can you use this to help with posture.
My concern is the pressure it might cause on the carotid arteries, especially for someone who has any vascular sclerotic issues. Comments, please.
Hi Doctor, I wanted to know how many minutes I can use it at maximum pressure?
Is it okay to wear it for long trips in car or is it better not to get your neck used to a support?
thank you very much
How long should one put it on per time?
I was told that you can put a pair of durable tights over your head and lay on a bed use your feet or arms to pull your body down the tights hold your head and your neck is stretched relieving discs in your neck. Yes it sounds odd but it actually works.
Does anyone know whether old single hose version is inferior to this 3 hose seperate connection setup?

Does anyone know some treatments for vertigo ( vertiges)
My C4-C7 & T1 long term herniation & radiculapathy - this device isn’t enough. How is the Saunders home traction device in comparison?
I tried this as a recommendation from my osteopath... for reducing severe pain in my neck from an improper chiropractic adjustment (atlas to C3) that left me with... restricted and painful rotational movements, headaches, feeling like I have steel cables along side my neck, through the jaw bone, behind the ears, and into the temples.
I found that the pressure caused in my head from this neck traction device when it was inflated.... gave me a severe migraine (felt like my head was going to explode).... and did not help my neck pain at all.
Thank for your sharing experience ,I think not suitable for neck relief
@@babygoldy1450 It might depend on the actual neck injury. It just didn't work for me.
Can I wear it at night while sleeping, because that's when it hurts a lot, and I toss and turn and wake up with pain? I feel like any relief gained during the day is setback at night. Thanks.
Hi there. I had vertebral artery dissection from neck manipulation that led to brainstem stroke… Would this be safe for me? I have cervical radiculopathy that is pretty disabling and I want to try anything I can
Very nice doctor. Thankyou so much😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Will this help relieve upper back issues for people who have pain from bad posture or looking down at their phone for long period of time?
Will it be helpful in cervical myelopathy?
I just got that device. I'm using it for the first time, and went to do a "double chin" and I could feel a little pressure on the disc that I'm having issues with. Should I wait to do that experience?
Really hoping youll reply- does this help cervical kyphosis? I had 2 neck adjustments (side ways not straight like this) and the 2nd time my left eye got blurry and had a clump of black at the top. Almost like a chunk of fuzz or mascara. Im now terrified to go back- but i know i could benefit from it as i felt better for the first time in over a year, only for a week tho. Just wondering if theres any risks, and how long do you leave it on for aftet you use it?
It works.
I bought 5 of these for like $3.50 each on some site and they're awesome
Where ?
Hi, I have a question: How long would someone wear the collar? Thank you for your reply.
Thank you for your videos!!!
Mine showed up today. I'm wearing it as I type this. My first thoughts were how far is safe to inflate. I assume it's probably not strong enough to cause further damage before the pain tells me to stop. I haven't had feeling in my index finger in about 6 months. Physio and massage got me out of the acute pain i was in. Now I want to be able to function again. My biggest issue now that the pain is gone is I have no strength in my triceps on my left arm. I went from bench pressing over 200 lbs to now just 95 lbs for a set of 8 or so reps. I'm looking to someday get back to weightlifting and running, but I'm concerned about impact of jogging (up to 2 or 3 hours in duration). I'll keep using this 2-3 times a day for 30 min each, as you recommend, as well as the chin tuck exercises. I've stopped taking all meds (pain killers and muscle relaxers) about 2 weeks ago and still feel ok. I'm not much for pills, but do you think the muscle relaxers would aid in this treatment? If I'm looking to strengthen the neck muscles, I'm supposing I don't want to be on relaxers....counter productive kinda thing eh. Thoughts?
Here are my thoughts since you asked. I have cervical radiculopathy with a pinched nerve between my C5 & C6 disc in my neck. I have numbness in my right hand ring finger and pinky and on two separate occasions when attempting to rebound (mini-trampoline) my numbness got worse and in fact I experienced a new problem which was achalasia (difficulty swallowing). Usually when this occurs, it only lasts for 30 minutes or less but recently after rebounding I went through a full 24 hours without being able to swallow even water. So, if you are still continuing to jog, I would wear the neck brace while jogging. It may not look cool but it will help offset the downward force on your neck and in theory prevent further pinching of the nerve. I've dealt with this for over 5 years now. My MD recommended I get surgery or risk paralysis. I do not want surgery so I am doing all the exercises and using the inflatable whenever I rebound or ski. Good luck!
hey i have the same issue how are you making out with the finger numbness
Somehow I think this might be something to explore for frozen shoulder, as there is associated neck pain with it (at least for me).
how did you find out you had a frozen shoulder. i think that could be causing my pinched nerve.
@@AnthonyScalzilli adapter, diagnosed it. But really, you don’t need a doctor to tell you if you have frozen shoulder or not. If you can’t lift your arm forward, to the side, or put your hand behind your back without getting ‘zinged’ with pain, you are frozen. Frozen shoulder literally means that. The shoulder joint is so inflamed, the arm becomes impossible to move. Like you’ve hit a barrier.
Could you please tell me which model you’re using - where I can purchase this from? Thank you so much
Hi Nina, of course!🧡 We purchased this on Amazon. Here is the link: Inflatable Cervical Neck Traction(Amazon) - amzn.to/40PXP5L
I've been using one for about a month and I like it but I used it last night and I don't know what I did wrong but I have excruciating pain in my neck now. I'm scared to move because if I do the pain is unbearable. I don't know if a nerve is pinched or a muscle got pulled but this pain is out of control. My neck pain was a permanent 5 and up to 7 or 8 on bad days but now it's a resting 9 up to 14 if I try to move. I can't sleep or lie down I don't know what to do.
I just wonder how you are now, has the pain subsided and is this device the culprit?
how are you doing better i hope
i purchased mine after watching your video. I've had pinched nerve, neck pain, shoulder pain and this product is absolutely brilliant. My question is how long do i keep it on? I usually keep it on for 20mins and after that i feel discomfort. Do i need hot or cold pack after using the device. Thanks
how did it work for you i just bought one
Same here, I need to know how long it should be worn and also if it’s safe to use while in the gym
Would there be any point in developing a similar device for the knee or ankle?
Hey Dan! That is a great idea! Decompression of any joint that is hurting would likely be helpful! So yes, that would be a great idea!
What about a slight neck hump .
I so wish you can look at my MRI report. After two years of neck and rhomboid pain and two rhizotomies I'm tired 😩
how does the circulation in your neck feel with this on?
Just make sure you don't put the straps too tight and don't pump it up too much and it's great. Start gentle and make sure it's actually under your chin and not squeezing your cheeks up. The first few times I used it I pumped it up too much and it felt like my eyes were going up pop out.
Hi. My dad has a neck bone they say is slipped forward? He has numbness on his hands. Will this help? Thanks for this information.
Received my unit today I could not wait to try it out. So far it has really helped to eliminate the neck, shoulder and arm pain as well as the "numbness" in my arm and fingers. Time will tell but it looks good so far.

Will this device help restore the neck curve or simply offer pain relief?
Did you ever find out the answer to your question? I would like to know the answer as well.
thanks
Hey JT! You're very welcome!
Does this put pressure on the rest of your spine since its also pressing downwards?
no....
I just bought one of these. How long should I ideally have it on for?
6 hours
@@brase2018 😂😂😂😂😂 Roger that
Hi. Whats the brand of the inflatable? Thanks
I ordered mine off Amazon, just type in cervical neck traction device
Didn't work for me. It's actually clumsy when it is lifting your head. Then it puts a lot of pressure on and around your head and jaw. Ended up with a headache. Perhaps I was doing wrong but it's not something I could recommend.
the sides press against the arterys in the frontal part of your neck, hence the headache. Too long with too much pressure will make you pass out.
Tossed the one I ordered in the trash. It does not just extend the neck but also squeezes the neck. The extension is not parallel to the spine, but has a tendency of applying uneven pressure. This caused me more pain after using it.
You did it wrong. Make sure it's not tight, make sure it is under your chin and don't pump it up too much. I almost stopped using mine because I was pumping it up way too much and choking myself. Just pump it up until it gives a little support
You could put it through your sleeve; just a thought
How long should I wear it ?
I'd say maybe a 1/2 hour to an hour at a time. One concern with these is that people become reliant on it holding their neck up for them and it eventually makes their neck weaker. Doing the chin tucks while wearing is a great idea.
Mine was poor quality as developed a leak. But worth it when it was inflatable.
Hey Bill, Thanks for sharing your experience. It does offer some relief that feels like a breath of fresh air! 😃
How many times should i use ?
Hey Lola, in general, it is safe to use several times throughout the day. However if you have any neck injuries it's important to seek advice from your healthcare provider.
Can this cause a burst vessel in the brain
Would this be good for someone who has EXTREME tightness in their neck and upper traps? I don't have "pain" but its quite literally unbearably tight. It feels like everyone of my neck/trap muscles are as tight as they possible can be at all times, even when Im trying to sleep.
Hey there, this could be useful for your condition. It is also very possible that you have elevated 1st and 2nd ribs. It may be advisable to see someone experienced in treating these conditions. I am not sure about all this positive feedback. I have significant cervical spine issues and I bought this device. In my view, it is virtually useless. It did nothing for me at all. I don’t think that it is safe or effective.

Hey S M Abdul Haque! So unfortunately there is no way to completely treat a condition like cervical spinal stenosis. To answer your question, this device can be extremely helpful in improving your condition and possibly provide you with a significant amount of relief. It is worth giving inflatable cervical traction a try as it could potentially benefit you but it is not going to fully treat the problem. We would like to provide you with more resources that you can find worthwhile and possibly helpful.
