Thank you so much for these lessons. I grew up in Kwa Zulu Natal and learned a bit of Zulu. Now living in Western Cape has made me realize how important the Xhosa language is for me to communicate with the beautiful people around here. I'm amazed how much the locals appreciate me trying to show respect to the Xhosa nation and I want to be able to reach out to them. I've got a long way to go as so far I only know 4 words of greeting and getting older ( 78) doesn't help. But I will persevere with the help of Khanyi who is so dedicated to making this world a better place. God bless you.

I think your presentation and content is stellar. You really break the information down to a basic level and make it easier to digest.
As a musician/producer/engineer, I'd like to make a suggestion concerning the audio quality of your videos. There is a very prominent echo, most likely the result of being in a room with lots of hard surfaces, which produces a reflection. Try recording in a smaller space with more soft surfaces, like carpet and possibly hanging some bed comforters around you to absorb the sound. It will produce a more professional sound.
Please keep these lessons coming. South Africa is home to some beautiful music and languages.

Umlungu here. I can say quite a few xhosa words that i learned through the years working with xhosa people. I already know majority of the words you said in the video. But i cant speak sentences,i really want to try and speak it fluently oneday. Maybe i must go stay in transkei for a year, then i will come back as a xhosa and not a umlungu anymore haha
