The best sounds track of them all. This soundtrack has real heart and made the first game feel uniquely important. You could tell the stakes were high and that there was a real purpose to come even though the future was shrouded in overall mystery. Then everything collapsed with the third game. Honestly, breaks my heart every time I think about it and the potential this franchise had.
Imagine playing the whole concert as one loooonngg track in melody of memory. Though I suppose you could just play the songs back to back. I hope the orchestra arrangements of these songs end up in the game or something. It'd be cool
Man Yoko shimomura's music for this game is so beautiful I hope that one day when I become a band teacher so that I could do a kingdom hearts marching show ☺️
Tbh they did a really great job. While it didn’t feel the same without the strings (especially violin), i think it was very inventive that they gave some melodies a different touch (like that jazzy rage awakened). I didn’t know this concert existed besides from world of tres and other lesser known concert variations.

This was only in japan. The 2nd ochestra, ‘world tour’, went to many places around the world.

This a orchestra with mostly wind type instruments. It also doesn’t have any vocals for choir parts of the songs.

Probably it means this is the first mostly wind instruments concert. But this is just an hypothesis...
