Interesting that the new innovation at the Clipper's new stadium is basically a Spion Kop, a feature in many British Stadiums since 1904. The most famous one of all being at Anfield which is not much more than a mile away the the new Bramley Moore dock stadium also featured in this video.

    1) As an American and a fan of the NFL, I still think the stadiums are too highly subsidized by state and local governments.
    2) The stadium in England built on the artificial sand fill doesn't seem very safe.
    3) While I know for some of the poorer countries building soccer stadiums is a matter of national pride, I have to wonder if the money could be better spend on other things.
