    Hi, I bought the Nano Pack since the audio visualizers look great. But I have no idea how to use them. I've opened the project file and.. ??? I just want to replace the audio file with mine but don't know how. If it's too complicated to explain by a single reply, could you please make a tutorial for beginners like me?

    • @DaveyStudioYT
      @DaveyStudioYT  2 года назад

      Hey! The Nano pack was designed to be a playground for people to test out FreqReact. There's two project files, Nano_RAW.aep and Nano_REACTED.aep. If you want to replace the audio with your own, you'd want to open the REACTED project file and replace the song using the Profile Transfer feature included in the paid version of FreqReact.
      If you are using FreqReact Lite, you will have to open the RAW project file, add your song, and use FreqReact to bake a profile and react any properties that suit you.
      If this is not what you thought the Nano Pack was, feel free to request a refund. The Nano Pack is also included for free with a purchase of FreqReact Full, so it might make more sense to go that route if you want to swap the song quickly. Email me at davey@davey.studio if you want to continue this conversation 🤘
      Thanks!

    HeyAbout time he napping, I’m trying to timing that clips, but I wanted him to kind of hit on a certain Pete. Is there a way to make it so that all of the time, it will 100% get the kill on the beat?

      There might be a bit of a language barrier between us, I'm not quite sure what you are asking. It looks like you are trying to do time remapping? If so definitely watch my video on that- ruclips.net/video/crAb0gegbks/видео.html

      @@DaveyStudioYT Hi, I’m American English. I guess I didn’t state it as well. The video I making has a clip, where the person in the game gets a kill. I want to kill to sync up perfectly with the beat. That way, it kind of goes like the drop of this song is right on the kill. How would I make it so that that happens?

    • @DavidCamick69
      @DavidCamick69 3 года назад

      Sorry, I voice typed the very first message. I didn’t look over it before I commented sorry.

    • @DaveyStudioYT
      @DaveyStudioYT  3 года назад +1

      @@DavidCamick69 Ah! FreqReact wasn't really designed with that in mind, but once a profile is baked to an audio layer, you can slide the audio back and forth until the song drop lines up with the kill. Should be easy enough. Doing it montage style like on your channel might be pretty tricky to automate though.

    Beginners will never be able to use this plugin until there is a dedicated video showing how to put that audio scan box on the audio spectrograph to bake at first. I have so many issues with that. I think I am choosing the right section but there is so many false react or no react at all. I do am looking at the intensity bar of the selected box but it just isn't working. So, I just stopped trying to react at all. 1 hour tutorial showing the bounding box, and each react style on different but usual parameters that are going to be reacted upon after baking would be nice. I have seen reactors explained video it does give much info about reactors but as I said if a person cannot get the bounding box right and on what parameters how are they implementing and this can be annoying. I am using free pack right now.
    I was trying to react to this song BTW [Drumstep] - Stonebank - Soldier [Monstercat Release]

      Hey thanks for the feedback!
      Kick (10 - 150hz) and Snare (150 - 300hz) are generally the easiest to isolate. Once you get to more complex instruments with changing pitches, isolating them perfectly is not really what FreqReact was made for. For those you can make the range box very large to capture the general gist, but it will never be as precise as if you had separate audio stems.
      Try setting the spectrum view to the ranges that I have in parenthesis up above, and then lower the spectrum height until everything is fitting vertically in the comp. Then hit play and keep your vision wide. Look for a space that only the kick occupies. No two songs are the same to you have to physically look and find the best spot. The trick is to make the range box really small when trying to get perfect isolation. Trial and error is the only way. On something like dubstep, you can get near perfect isolation on the kick and the snare 99% of the time.
      I'll be honest, a tutorial only on setting up ranges isn't going to happen. The overview video covers enough for most people to get up and running. If I had unlimited time and resources, I'd make it happen.. but life is short and I'm juggling a lot of projects right now. Hopefully you can keep trying with FreqReact, but no worries if not.
      Thanks again!

      @@DaveyStudioYT Ok. Thanks. As you said I did with average difficulty spectrograph and I was able to separate. But, music with mixed ones is kind of tricky.
