Oh Man X_X Magic Music Maker was hilarious back then. Just the loops. I remember buying all the damm CDS to use the Loops and using the lame audio effects they had X_X
Krut Ball was sick af! Can we expect a release date? xD Not gunna lie, I've been producing now for around 5 years, it's absolutely amazing that we can go back to these times and just see how far we have come as producers. I'm currently at the stage where I genuinely feel happy with what I am making now and will be starting to send stuff to labels soon and see if anything can get signed. Good luck to anyone starting out with production, you really do not need any music background at all, I started with no knowledge and now feel at the point where my music is getting on par with people such as Curbi, Mesto, Justin Mylo just to name a few. It will take time to get to this point and we all know the struggle but if this is your dream, fucking do it. You never know where it can take you :) Goodluck one and all!
Ron Great advice! The problem I struggle with most is making my own synths. I don't know how to recreate a sound I have in my head or at least get close to it. Do you maybe have any tips?
Honestly, I'm not big on the whole sound design front, I rather use my time to find something similar to what I would like the finished sound to be, use that and tweak it to the best I can. There are many many tutorials on sound design out there and my best advice would be to go and watch those! I started purely from youtube videos myself so trust me, it will help a lot :)
Ron Yeah me too. I started back in 2011 without Sylenth or Massive and I pretty much only used Sytrus and 3x osc. Fun thing is that 3x osc can actually provide some pretty good sub basses
Ron Btw idk if you've sent your stuff to promotion channels before, but I always send my songs to smaller channels as well as the major ones because I know the chances of getting posted on Suicidesheep or Monstercat for example are really small, while the chances of even getting noticed in the mailbox of FlyingTunes for example is much more likely to happen. If you don't know them, I definitely recommend looking them up and considering to send your tracks to them. I hope this was of any help
Arcade Its actually pretty amazing! Lol I see ya always had an ear for music! Tbh its so nostalgic to hear old tracks and see how far our music has come! Gawd the nostalgia is real!
Lol nice you did PsyTrance Music when you was 11 years old. Thats sick! :D Thanks for sharing your old music! Its always hillarious and some thing of Epic to hear them! Your music is good, i enjoy! I have old Songs on youtube too ^^
That is so funny! Your roots are really comparable to my 'history'. Also starting out during primary school fiddling in Magix, Ejay (Dance, Trance and Hip-Hop) and Cakewalk (random recording with a midi keyboard), to later switch over to Garage band, Cubase and Ableton in secondary school. Always stuck with the latter two. I am 24 now.
This brought some, of the same variety moments of my early days music "production"... I remember the countless midi files I downloaded "just" to inspire me... Nice Video!!!
Oh lord... the bleepy sound in "Trian"... i had that EXACT CLIP in songs that i made with a music program called Techno DJ that i bought in a Swedish supermarket when i was like 15 years old (15 years ago)... I accidentally deleted all my music a few years ago, but that part is stuck in my head still.
I loved that program :D I made a few songs i actually would like even now, but i think i had the most fun actually sampling noises and voices into Techno DJ and make songs with friends. Some of them became reeeeally weird but that was hilarious. The music you made at such a young age still sounds great considering :D
lol! Try re-creating one of you earlier creations with your "now" knowledge. P.S. I use that arpeggiator in the first song in my early (what I called) techno tracks.
Interesting, how it's similar to my progression (although I started at an older age, but I am 35). I started off on Music on ps1, and would record the songs on to cassette tape through a mixer, which id also sing (badly) over. Then on music 3000 on ps2, it let you compose stuff, so like you, i got worse before i got better! Nowadays I have Logic Pro and I don't touch loops, it wouldn't be my own compositions.
Your reaction is priceless xD I wish i started at such young age! My first efforts were using the Playstation 1 "Music" (I think in America it was called MTV Generator) and later "Music 2000". I was about 20 at the time -_-. Later on i also bought Magix Music Maker 2004 but i did cut up the loops. I only started taking it serious at around 2010 learning synthese with plugins. Long journey and still not there xD
When i was 11 i started making music. I started with mixcraft daw and it was just drag and drop at first. Then i decided to move on to FL Studio and then my music production got started for real. My first songs were just like only piano and drums but i learned really fast to use plugins and stuff. Nowdays im 14 and i have moved to Ableton live and i cant say that i'm bad at making music anymore :D hope you can read my rally english cuz i finnish so :))
When i was a kid i messed with this program called virtual dj. I had told about that program to a friend of mine and he started messing with it too. Around a year ago he found a 'mix' that he did and it was awful. In the mix you'd hear songs that havent been matched or just songs from competely different genres. Like going from something with high bpm to other with low bpm. The program had tools like revereb or u could just scrach on the desk and make this noise.. Basically going from one song to another sounded so weird and stupid :D And i used to do the same thing.. Sadly i havent saved any of it.. :d
I actually used to make songs when i was around 9 or 10 with this really basic music maker called soundation.. some of them you could kinda pass for music but most of them were really bland and just consisted of a few samples i reused over and over. I still have them and i listen to them sometimes just to cringe
I could only fart when I was 8 years old
Could have sampled that fart :D
Arcade Hahaha xD
So you can't fart anymore?
I was a cs 1.6 noob that time

Oh Man X_X Magic Music Maker was hilarious back then. Just the loops. I remember buying all the damm CDS to use the Loops and using the lame audio effects they had X_X
It was OG.. Drag the loops and have a song ready in a few minutes haha :D
xD
hahaaha so true xDDD
sounds like PSYtrance
damn, i wish i had magix music maker in my childhood, meanwhile i used to play with virtual dj when i was a kid..
3:39
>annoying bongo stops
>Tension builds for a drop

Daniel Strömberg haha spot on 😀
1:12 I would assume the sample is called "motorboating"

Him: this song is so bad!

That is so funny! Your roots are really comparable to my 'history'. This was great, thanks for sharing!
the nostalgia of looking at your old work is priceless xD
*Were you also dropping acid at Granny’s?*
This brought some, of the same variety moments of my early days music "production"... I remember the countless midi files I downloaded "just" to inspire me...
Nice Video!!!
Oh I remember those days...it takes time and I'm still not 100%
Ur old tracks aren't too bad 😅
Legend 👑
That ableton logo tho
The fact that you could do that at 8 is already amazing
Aah cringing to your old beats. Now that's something I haven't done in a while. I should go do that right away. Awesome channel bro.
Oh lord... the bleepy sound in "Trian"... i had that EXACT CLIP in songs that i made with a music program called Techno DJ that i bought in a Swedish supermarket when i was like 15 years old (15 years ago)... I accidentally deleted all my music a few years ago, but that part is stuck in my head still.
Lol :D Might have been the same program.
I loved that program :D I made a few songs i actually would like even now, but i think i had the most fun actually sampling noises and voices into Techno DJ and make songs with friends. P.S. I use that arpeggiator in the first song in my early (what I called) techno tracks.
That´s masterclass compared to my beginnings :D
Was that the Time Splitters respawn sound at the end of each bar in Krut Ball? loool
Interesting, how it's similar to my progression (although I started at an older age, but I am 35).
I started off on Music on ps1, and would record the songs on to cassette tape through a mixer, which id also sing (badly) over.

Nowadays I have Logic Pro and I don't touch loops, it wouldn't be my own compositions.
I suddenly feel a lot better about myself
Dude, this is friggin cool! lol.
"So it's my Song... OBVIOUSLY!" :D
Ain't nobody taking that away from me :D
As I read this he said it
Your reaction is priceless xD
I wish i started at such young age!

Is that Musicmatch Jukebox I see?
that Valley of the Shadows rip off at 3:22 though. Sick.
even at 8 years old you had a better strong structure knowledge than most amateur producers lmao
When i was 11 i started making music. I started with mixcraft daw and it was just drag and drop at first. Then i decided to move on to FL Studio and then my music production got started for real. I don't know anything about making music or else this is on my recommendation video. But I like you so I'll sub for more 👄
Thanks man! Glad you liked it :)
Psytrance “you could probably use this to torture someone” 🤣 I love it
Lol I love how you can see the cringe in your eyes XD
I dig through my very early stuff every now and then, it's a nice bit of nostalgia.
Is that the Krut Ball?? The NCS release?
Where did you have these saved?
so which app do u use now to make dj
hahaha that Krut Ball , i enjoyed it actually was pretty funny hahahaha
Funny thing is that if someone released these songs like 30 years back it would be game changing xdddd
Watching the videos I made when I was 8 is as hilarious as this to me. It's crazy how these things carry into adulthood lol
all these just sound like dope video game soundtracks
Why do I feel like someone’s actually gonna use krut ball in a video xD
I used to make music with HipHop Ejay too! That was amazing :D
1:38 that timing xDD
THE FIRST SONG HE SHOWS OFF HAS A SAMPLE FROM A SONG CALLED BIG BAG. THE GUY MADE IT ON FL STUDIO.
why isn't Krut Ball on Spotify?!
i love it
Winamp, Total Commander, FL Studio, KSHMR Love. Are you me?
Martijn Venhuizen OG stuff 😁
Good job you got better or do you have a ghost producer? 👀

Better than Black Summer.
5:49 sounds like if u were beating something against metal sheet or smth lol
This is amazing, subscribed.
dude krut ball was years ahead of itself..straight banger!
ClasicMusic is pretty lit And you did that 11?!! Wow im 14 now and still cant make a better music XD
That second song would fit perfectly in a game like ”unfair mario”
The classic music beginning is good
Fun fact Kendo is Japanese Fencing and is hella fun I recommend it to everyone
Did you know how to use synthesizer?
I actually used to make songs when i was around 9 or 10 with this really basic music maker called soundation.. some of them you could kinda pass for music but most of them were really bland and just consisted of a few samples i reused over and over. I still have them and i listen to them sometimes just to cringe

Are you Arcade from Audiotool?

soo nice you were everytime the best
At least you knew what house music was when you were a kid 😂 that first song low key slapped
I'm 30 years old and started working on FL recently, but my songs sound like yours when you were 8 years old. :D
better than my current music
This is better than the music I started out making when I was 16.
Omg so relatable 😂 I can totally relate because I have the same expression on my face when I listen to one of my first songs 😂😂 just want to dieee😂
Sounds like music you have in games that realised last minute before release that they forgot to make music. :D
Laughing so hard :-D
.... but wait... my Music still sounds like this :-D
Respect u man! When I was 8 I never came across computers tho!
