Hope you all enjoyed ladies...see you in the the next one...got a video about toilets, a video about vans, a video with Roger Bisby from Skill Builder and loads more in the PIPELINE!
Looking forward to that. Roger is a top bloke. Have you seen his latest upload with Rob? Mental health issues and the building game?
Top tip!: If you’re using a hole saw. Put the drill on screw setting and the highest torque setting. It stops the drill wrenching your wrist if/when the hole saw bites.
Captain!
Excellent videos from you mate as always! I would really like to see a video of a hob installation, from cutting the worktop to size all the way to full installation..cheers mate, all the best
Great video Jaz👍 I’m a Makita fan too, so it’s not just your wife, but the love of power tools we share.
One thing you need mate & it’s invaluable for Plumbers/Heating Engineers is the Makita 18V grinder, but with a diamond tip blade.
It’ll cut & chamfer Soil Pipe, cut flues etc etc etc etc.
Now, I don’t want you to get confused, it’s grinder not ‘Grindr’.
Kind regards Dick Puller.
P.S. Thanks matey for taking the time👍

Great stuff James thanks.
legend plumber mate cheers!
Defo want one of those circular saw's and the pivoting bit holder - Hold Tight!!!!
James a cracking video as always mate.....I'm Makita man all the way too and their multi tool is ace on 18v. If your a coffee geek like me then their coffee maker is a must especially helpful when on jobs with no mains power!!
The makita multi tool is the nutz. Battery lasts about as long as the circular saw does. I had the allen key one and it was crap, i sent it back and got the quick change one.
Brilliant videos I'm currently at college learning plumbing level 2 thank you for the videos there so informative
What are you doing now?
Nice one...could you please make a video with unvented cylinders when you can?
Nice bits of kit, i use to have makita but recently switched over to milwauke and have to say its fantastic... got the angle drill in a battery version which i use with 12ah batteries ( called the super hawg ) not sure if makita do a versionof it
Is it sad that all I do is watch your videos over and over. I'm currently doing my the 6035 level 2 done my p1 to p13. I absolutely love every aspect of plumbing. I still suck at soldering but I know in time it will come. Thanks for the uploads every video is great and really informative. Cannot wait to get my NVQ and start working in the plumbing industry.
Hi dude! Thanks for your comment. You're right on soldering, it just takes practise...the same goes for pipe bending! Good luckj with your training...
In the exact same situation , done everything now just the final write ups and then I am level 2 qualified
I’ve got the Makita 18v multi-tool, I prefer it over the DeWalt because it can use all blades, not just quick connect blades with the ‘C’ shaped fitting. It also has a tool-less connection as well. However, like you said, they aren’t brilliant on the battery life. But super handy when you’re in a spot and no need to faff about with 110v tools on-site.
I'm still using 3amp hour batteries that came with a combie drill that i bought in 2006 and they have had some hammer!
Always buy genuine and they will last
James I have a question. Why don't you have the interior van kitted out ?
great tools!!!!
nice tools. i've got 3/4 of these. would be nice to get more some day. chur
Great video, Makita should contact you and give you a brand new version of every makita tool you have!
Glad I’m not the only one who thinks the Makita brushless drill is a bit gutless. Keep going back to my old brushed one.
I’ve got a makita 18v multi tool and it’s a great tool, but like your previous Feinn it needs an Allen key to change the bit.
James Swinyard I think it’s fucking useless too Jaz, they should change it from BL to FU.
They do a quick change one too found it really useful.
Makita have a newer 240 angle drill with quick change of angles and they do it in cordless. The 240 a beast with a sharp auger bit. I don't mean the crappy small angle drills either. I mean the full fat drill anything.
i love how your honest about your work and tools and not like these showy off engineers on Instagram with perfect vans and the perfect soldering haha! Not all of us have two days to do a boiler swap! keep up the good work mate! I've almost got my gas now and i can honestly say I've learnt more about plumbing from you then any of my colleagues or teachers 👍
My sawzall and grinder has been my best friend over the years
“Definitely take your face off - which is a bit of bummer” 😂😂😂😂
Fein Multimaster with the star dock plus is a revolution. Would highly recommend it.
The oscillating multi-tool is like an expensive mistress. It's pretty costly on the blades in situations where an alternative tool would suffice, but I just can't help myself. Shhhh! Don't tell the missus!
Can you add the link for that plasterboard drill bit shown at 11:51
millwalkee hole hawg shits on that mikiita angle drill mate its battery to , trust me i have both
The collapsible table is made by Keter!
I have the white radio as everyone else has the blue, can't be "misplaced" then 👍🏻
Metabo all the way , the multi cut is on parr with a fein
Does no one use Bosch? Thinking about getting the flexiclick for the offset attachment.
MATE I'm reveiwing it soon. Love it!
fair swop
Yeah i've went for milwaukee too 🤫
Great vid.. Look like a bit of a makita fan boy!
Just the garms I wear!
What do you think about the Milwaukee stuff now over here ? I’ve heard good things but it’s not cheap
@thequick thedead I have a Milwaukee kit and agree 100% a friend of mine has a dealt kit and the drill and impact gun are incredibly light need to re invest
Got nicknames for my tools as well lol ronnie Corbit
Gary Neville level
John Travolta 18v
Peter file
I'm sure theres more tho 🤣
Power tools I recommend hilti.
Have you had much engine trouble with the VW van ?
Tom Thumb Why should he VW is better than Ford
Now just need to convince our lass these are necessary
Nearly every single plumber i know in Norway uses Milwaukee, aslo do you have any tips for an apprentice?
I moved away from makita.
Kept on breaking their combi drills.
Moved over to Milwaukee.
They seem more robust
I sheared a gear tooth off a Makita corded drill a while ago. I stick with Bosch, Metabo, and Ridgid.
I moved to Mak from Milwaukee, kept breaking them!
have you tried the new Oil impulse drivers?
Not yet...
Not as powerful, probably break and just quieter, for hospitals, etc...
I bet you can do a lot of bodging with that lot
My circular saw (angle grinder) 🤣
I've seen you chuck the old metal riffs in before. Genuinely wondering now if you like heavy metal or if youre an ibiza boy. Back on subject, informative video, agree on the batteries, the cheapo ones on eBay die fast or blow up, absolute garbage
du
du hast
du hast micht
du hast micht gefragt un du has nicht, gezagt!
Jimmy recognised those words I used in one of his previous uploads, so I reckon he's a closet Rammstein fan.
I use Milwaukee fuel power tools only. Mostly because they are red
You need a van vault brother , nice selection
Don’t think you can go far wrong with Makita for reliability and value.
i work for british gas. in 2015 we have bought 5000 makita power screw drivers for our engineers. after nearly 4 years you can count the amount of failed units on 2 hands..
Keep a spray bottle full of WD40 on your truck, and occasionally spray the metal parts on your power tools, i.e. THE CHUCK! Keeps the rust away, keeps you looking like you care about your gear.
No I disagree especially for chucks, I’ve tried it and now the bit keeps coming lose!
Whats your go-to station on the radio? Cheers
5 live in the morning then Radio 6 or Absolute 80/90/00
@@plumberparts Have you got a link to the Titan Dual blade grinder or any other brand you would recommend they seem very useful!
Screwfix do titan.
Radio X it’s banging!! Or Radio Punjab, that winds the Joiners right up😄😄😄
@Fibre Washer LBC Nick Ferrari in the morning til ten o'clock. Then at ten... I have to change channel or I completely lose it and start throwing things around. Trouble is, I'm such a boomer, I haven't learned how to set the pre-set for fav channels. I know that if I press the advance button 9 times, I get to Planet Rock. Get it wrong and guess which channel I get to? Aaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!
The sds be well big to hang om your belt lol
I've got the battery oscillating dewalt and the batteries last fine, really cba with a corded version of them
I get that they’re all just tools, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some respect for them. If you look after them then they’ll last longer meaning you won’t have to keep buying new ones every few months or years
What's the table? I want the table, I need the table? Make? Model? Thanks haha
Gary Bieske click to our Amazon shop it’s there!
@@plumberparts topman
I have one they are sick! Best work table I’ve had
No drain down hose ?
Is that 12 or 18v?
Your missing a Milwaukee pipecutter
i have an old discontinued makita 240 v sds hammer breaker drill another plumber gave me must be 20 yrs old works brill i borrowed my bosch drill to a chippy who fucked it up the c t donet borrow tools if some ct ask to borrow tools ask can you borrow his wife
🔥 get in, let the wallet damage commence 👍nice one James.
HAHA! Don't spend beyond your means though mate! 😂
@@plumberparts little and often 👍
Are you kitchen fitter or a plumber because they were all carpenters tools.😋
Probably been said, but you're supposed to lock that table out by raising the fold out handle. Then a plastic part pops up on top which says 'locked'. #justsaying
Harry Potter thanks Hazza!
Circular saw? Angle grinder silly Willy
I want to be your apprentice, I’d even work for free and I’m 42 lol
Lee Fischer oh here mate don’t go near him, he loves older men. He touched me up the last time we went out for a Curry. He loves a bit of man on man action!!
I’ve not long passed my acs core gas safety and I can’t find a job as have little experience
Remember anything can be used as a hammer but not everything can be used as a screwdriver.
Why don't you keep your tools in the cases they came in?
using a dewalt bit in a makita drill you filthy animal :")
Millwalkee is makita on steroids
Poor Henry, gets subjugated very badly doing chasing
Decent fella too....
Algorithms
I love tools and Donald Trump
Dewalt, get this guy some proper cordless tools.
Your Mum uses Makita...
Probably, no good for intended use 😉
.
Makita is rubbish
