I happen to have the pleasure of knowing the gentleman who created that TMNT Masterpiece. I remember him bringing just a peice of wood to work and I watched him take his time working on it and each day you can just see it coming to life. I am just impressed with my buddy's skills. He is such an awesome person! He definitely deserves every penny for his craftsmanship! Way to go buddy!!
I made a fair financial offer, having to point out in the lister's own pictures where dents, gouges, scratches, and literally what appeared to be a booger put the guitar and player's and East Coast tour with no case condition. I made a very reasonable, well-worded and kindly structured offer on a 2006 Chinese Epi Zakk Sig. When Epi made the switch from the Korean to the Chinese plant there was a huge drop off for a few years in all areas but mostly in things lining up straight and the paper thin clear coat used and very,very thin finish application. Now, considering that I have an 03 with an INSANELY thick clear coat and no Hellen Keller routs. They have since vastly improved and I proudly fly the Epi flag. Have for years. Through the good, bad, ugly, and pants-shittingly terrible. No one is perfect mind you, but the guitars coming out of the Chinese Epiphone factory today against what's coming out of the American Gibson factory today is why I have no problem buying new Epiphones. I actually have not purchased a new Gibson for personal use in almost 10 years. Anyways, the response I got back made it very clear that the young man thought I was mentally handicapped, a scam artist, and more than likely The offspring of a sweaty backseat melding of my grandfather and mother. I thanked him for his time, consideration, and for having the good graces to notice that our family was so close and then if he ever changed his mind and wanted to accept my offer he would have a better chance of getting pregnant and carrying it to term than talking me into ever interacting with him again. Some folks are just natural assholes. Whether it be they weren't raised right or are struggling with some sort of interpersonal restroom Meetup disorder. Some folks are just impossible to reason with because they are an expert in everything while consistently proving the opposite every time they open their pecker taster. I stopped advertising any sort of gear whatsoever on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist. I literally had to escort somebody to their car and down to the bottom of my driveway because they were acting so crappy. Most of my Reverb sales have been phenomenal. I've made a few friends, a few repeat customers, and had to completely block a genuinely mentally disturbed shitheel from Utah. I still have his batshit insane text messages.
The most overused words in these type of ads are "custom, crafted and unique" which translated usually means ...I had some tools and had a go at modifying my guitar...it turned out bad...I need to sell it 😆

That BC Rich is fucking sweet! Whoever made that took the time to get EVERY detail right. The price is a little steep for what it is but for sure someone out there will pay it. If it was me…I wouldn’t ever play it. It would be an art piece on my wall for sure. I think you ought to buy it and have it for yourself Fluff!

I still have all my ninja turtles action figures from the 80's unopened. I had all of them and I opened the boxes and played with them till I broke them but my dad secretly bought another set thinking they may be worth something someday. Wonder if they are.
Real talk: I was also the kid super into Ninja Turtles. I had about 30 of them, including the party wagon. Also real talk: I still am that kid. I have Ninja Turtles Funkos on my desk at work. I’m typing this on my phone that has a Ninja Turtles case. COWABUNGA!

Dude. I’m with you on the tmnt guitar. I was obsessed in the 80’s with them. Had all the action figures and accessories. I even went to the “coming out of our shell” tour. 😂 It was amazing. Still go back and watch the 3 original movies at least once a year. And still have the vhs of the original show.

How does that stay in tune? They're slanted up around the slice. The other day someone off Craigslist offered me a guitar in trade for my fender tele, which was allegedly built for Chevelle. It had their signatures on it. I didn't care nor did I accept the offer. But for the TMNT Warlock? How could I pass? (Chevelle sucks)

Big TMNT fan too, I have the entire 2012 reboot that is way better then the TV Show, about on par with the old movies. I knew they lived in NYC in the 1980's show as a kid. It was one of the Reasons I did Karate as a kid to Stripe/Advanced Purple belt

Large, upper-rear & smaller, lower-front... It might've been just aight... I'd wanna see it outside of my head, first, before I commit to the support of such an atrocity!

I have to agree, that Teen Aged Mutant Ninja Warlock is pretty cool, really good carving work! Unless that guitar is signed by Barbi Benton, not interested. That 5 string bass bridge looks awesome, but it's too wide, he needs to change to the single string bridges. that last one is a puzzler, I can't even figure out in my mind how these people think those will sell.
That first guitar is worth fifty quid as a curiosity or something to talk about and I know at least one Luthier that could make something of it and if you were looking into learning how to fix some more "exotic" issues you might come across then I’d say it’s worth a punt but not for that money

If that first Epiphone was a vintage Gibson it could be fixed and probably would be worth it monetarily.
