The diamond plate BC Rich must have gotten the Tele pickup because it was the only single coil that dude could find with a METAL cover that would look METAL enough for such a METAL guitar. \m/ METAL!
As soon as I saw wood on a MIM Strat from then I knew it was relic'd. The polyester finish could normally deflect a Winchester elephant round with little more than a nick in the finish.
Somewhere a hipster is drooling over that T shirt. To be fair I remember looking at "vintage" concert shirts (Police circa 84) in 05/06 and they were $120. They were those tshirts with ¾ length sleeves. I had a few of them when I was a kid in the early 80s (the ⅜, not The Police).
That BC Rich... if they had just made a front plate, slightly smaller than the overall body (think Zemaitis but more industrial), and if they had carefully chamfered the edges so you don't run metal into your forearm with every downstroke, that would be cool.
Yingvay has had way too many spaghetti diners at this point, but I love how he still manages to somehow squeeze into his short little petty coats exposing overhanging belly and but crack.
That BC Rich is clad in "Checker Plate" (which is used for stair treads and other slip resistant surfaces...including guitars apparently). Not my jam by a long shot....but, whatever.
The "actual market value" is whatever someone is willing to pay. Case in point: Look at the Squier Baritone Jazzmaster, literally a $500 guitar being listed for twice what it is worth.
Not sure if it was ridiculous but I paid 500 Canadian for a really nice Rockman x100. I am happy but not sure the price when they were half that 4 years ago.
Fluff: Back in the day "Mid 80's my best friend BK ordered from Drome Sound a Mesa/Boogie Mark 3 =Badest of them all a "Coliseium 300"!!!! 150 watts "Simul-Class" Nobody had balls enough to even try to out volume him PERIOD! Had like 6 -6L6's "Tone Bottles" glowing! IT WAS PISSED OFF! I HAD .50 CAL COMBO w/Jackson bolt-on!
Despite the crazy hack job on that last Fender, you'd think there would be pretty decent value in the neck and case alone. Certainly not $1700, but at least that person wasn't delusional in their pricing.
I think that double neck Strat was an actual model they sold in the 90s ? Someone i know had a poster of Malsteem holding one of those. Is it worth that kind of money ? I have no idea. But i think there was an actual model sold of that by Fender. That thing weight wise has nothing on my Travis Bean at 13lbs ;-)
Honestly that YJM double neck @ $7500 is not outrageously priced. Especially when you consider how few were made. And at 11lbs 2oz its not crazy heavy either. Heck I've played Les pauls that were well over 10 lbs. How many double necks did Fender EVER make of any model let alone a signature model ? Would I pay over $1000 for ANYTHING with YJMs name on it ? No.... But it is fender... custom order... custom color... double neck !!! Probably $5-6K more realistic
Some of these sellers are insane. The used market is depressed right now...prices are falling as demand has fallen. $12K for a Mesa amp and $675 for an old t-shirt is not even connected to reality.
The best is when it's used (say from 2017) and they charge more than what it costs new, and there's like, absolutely no difference between that one and a brand new one. Smh.
Egh. I wouldn't buy the Rectifier but value can easily exceed the list price on items, and something that hard to come by is worth, like. A combination of how much you want it and how much I don't really want to sell, right? That's just economics.
@@jsullivan2112 I was in the market for a new amp in 2002 and a Peavy XXX would have set me back $1300 for just the head alone so I'm assuming a new Mesa Boogie head when they were gaining popularity throughout the 90s would have an extravagant amount of money.
Maybe the person listing the Gibson is thinking, "No sane person is going to want this guitar at any price. So I may as well list it at an insane price and wait to see if a literally insane person buys it."
That Yngwie is original man!!! Yngwie uses it in a few of his instructional videos from back in the day. That's some serious guitar and SUPER rare. &k sounds legit honestly.
Guitar Chump and Diablo Guitars are a joke with their prices. Their listinngs sit for months and months and never go down on the price unless you watch the listing and then they'll give you like a whopping $200 off when it's still $2000 over priced.
It's hard for me to believe people think there are people out there that even want some of this stuff. Just a thought you can't buy something use it for 20 years and then think its worth the same or more than was paid for it.
That Marshall shirt- A perfectly preserved shirt, looks almost never worn yet the tag is clearly ripped off? That is because in 1997, the U.S. government adopted the universal tag standard most of the world was already using. That tag, somehow the victim of violence when the rest of the shirt is flawless, would have clearly displayed those universal symbols, country of origin, etc; thus revealing its true provenance, and had to go. Anybody who buys/sells used items of value, knows getting rid of contrary evidence is much easier than manufacturing supporting evidence.
@@MrBraz33 Depends on what it was made out of. Colours only really fade if the thing's been washed and worn, exposed to the sun, etc. I have some shirts that are almost 40 years old and they're still perfect cause they were stored away. I believe that one's old, the fit and stitching look right, but I definitely don't believe it's an official Marshall shirt.
Perfect illustrations of, just because you can make something "different", doesn't mean you should.
If I could buy a $1000 guitar, give it a coat of black and then sell em for 2000 I'd stop trying to sell planes
Fluff, it was amzing to see you live on Impericon Festival in Leipzig, Germany! It was an amazing performance! Thanks you!
The diamond plate BC Rich must have gotten the Tele pickup because it was the only single coil that dude could find with a METAL cover that would look METAL enough for such a METAL guitar. \m/
METAL!
Awesome to see you representing Fazio Electric! Great channel
Ha I love these videos. You should send the listing 6Vakdez guitar to Trogly !!
Cheers from NZ 😎🎸🤘
For the last guitar, the neck and original hardware are worth $1700. Get a nitro finish Warmoth body and you'll have a killer strat.
My thoughts exactly, warmth or a stripped body from stratosphere
Thumbs up given for the Fazio electric t-shirt.
"It would be cool on a wall in a bar." HAHAHAHA! I see you've been to Kitchener-Waterloo in the 90s.
Love the T-shirt Fluff.
You had me dying with the tele tones 😂😂😂
Oh wow that BC Rich. Never have I needed something without knowing that I needed that thing that I never knew that I needed but I need it.
Thanks Fluff! These always make me laugh. Cheers!
That diamond plate warlock was well done...makes me want to commission something like that...maybe a Bich tho!
I dig you because you're as nuts about the Gibson RD as I am.
You know it's bad when Fluff says "next listing" in a serious tone of voice 😂😂😂 (the gibson listing)
As soon as I saw wood on a MIM Strat from then I knew it was relic'd. The polyester finish could normally deflect a Winchester elephant round with little more than a nick in the finish.
The last Strat isn't that bad. If it had a properly shaped pickguard and a coat of paint on it, I'd totally play it.
Because that would make it a normal strat again lmao
@@lucasc5622 A normal strat with some Mosrite flavor.

On that first guitar...hear me out....tone gems, bro
Nice shirt, Fluff!
NGL that 70s Strat is kinda cool lookin
That Gibby restored by Valdez. was worth more before they did that to it.
Some of these would be at home in the Ideas of the Damned - Guitar edition.
If the Strat had been just a piece of wood the shape wouldn't be too bad, but knowing what it started out as kills it for me.
That poor Strat at the end. Good grief. Criminal charges should be filed against whoever did that. That makes me physically sick.
That BC Rich... if they had just made a front plate, slightly smaller than the overall body (think Zemaitis but more industrial), and if they had carefully chamfered the edges so you don't run metal into your forearm with every downstroke, that would be cool.
You keep taunting us with that awesome FAZIO ELECTRIC shirt.
You know she's sold out and we can't get our own.....right?
Great video regardless.
I want a BC Rich dagger but I been having a hard time finding one.
Yingvay has had way too many spaghetti diners at this point, but I love how he still manages to somehow squeeze into his short little petty coats exposing overhanging belly and but crack.
damn he's eatin entire diners? that....makes sense.
$675 is quite an upcharge on a shirt he probably found at Goodwill for $2.
Or at a flea market that was tossed in with a load of other counterfeit or otherwise unlicensed shirts from India or somewhere else in Asia.
@@jsullivan2112 Vietnam sounds about right 😂
I have a Charvel Charvette that weighs nearly 12 lbs. and it's a single neck guitar.
I'm going to build a time machine, go back to the 70s, and dope slap these guitar carvers.
You had me at "fender double neck strat...."
( a guitar I would have no rational reason to own )
But oh gosh......
That BC Rich is clad in "Checker Plate" (which is used for stair treads and other slip resistant surfaces...including guitars apparently). Not my jam by a long shot....but, whatever.
That was the most PAINFUL episode to date to watch HAHAHA
LOL that Gibson should be $99
I know right.
cool shirt
The volume and tone knobs are worth a little bit on the SG.

neck tele tones embetween my stoner doom thrash sets
That Squier Tele is the worst! What a joke!
Honestly, last listing wasn't that bad of a shape imo. Better than the Gibson Theodore by an absolute mile.
I got a like new lefty fender Squier Sunburst for $80. Bucks. Local. Plays like Butter.
I bought 4x of those 70s Marshall shirts, only $2600 ! What a deal ! And he had my size ! :-P lol
THanks for the kicks this video cracked me up ;-)

I can verify that the Marshall shirt is real. I had one in black from the mid 70's.
Trogly would die seeing some of these gibsons
10:50 this should be named "gibson the hedgehog"
I love trash heap hubris 😂
That Valdez sg (lol) has HVAC silver tape for an rf coating...not pro at all...it's trailer park worthy....2 /10 Marlboros
The fact that Fluff didn't say anything about its original price being $19,900 is surprising
whenever someone uses the word "rare" in their listing i laugh because it really never is so.
Yep and even if it is sometimes things are rare because they suck 😂
Egh. I wouldn't buy the Rectifier but value can easily exceed the list price on items, and something that hard to come by is worth, like. A combination of how much you want it and how much I don't really want to sell, right? That's just economics.
Imagine how annoying it would be to have to adjust the spring tension on that metal bc rich floyd.
An 1hr old screen print from the 70’s😉😉
tele pick up works for tom morello
My 1976 Gibson LP Deluxe weighs 11.8 lbs
If it was 1992 & someone was to buy a Mesa Boogie head here in Canada it would have been priced at $9,000+ retail Canadian.

And now for my country cover of Metallica songs.
That gen stone squire is just plain WRONG! Even a squire deserves more respect.

That poor EVH guitar!

$2300 for a Squier, that’s an April Fools day joke.

from sam ash too... lol the worst guitar store ever
These are bad i think I'm gonna have to find that "headless" "jem" I saw and send it to fluff lol.
$675 for an old t shirt. Why not $800? How are they coming up with that value haha!
