Mike Jensen - Please look up personification and projection. There’s a much larger chance those seals are thinking “why is this thing chasing me, is it going to eat me? Wait... I feel better now! I’m O.K.! I’m FREE! I’m outta here!” Some humans are predators like you describe, but those humans have nothing to do with “these humans” who are “seal angels.” 😁

After doing this on a regular basis for many years now, I will say, these dudes are freaking amazing. That is absolutely difficult to do, even with animals that are regularly fed and cared for by humans. I can't even imagine being able to do this with wild animals. These guys do an amazing job.

Not to downplay this effort by the OCN team in any way. The cameras used are GoPros which have a very wide angle lense which makes the seals appear further away than they really are. None the less, it is still an awesome feat of team work, strength and dedication to find, capture and treat these seals. Pretty sure none of the OCN has the desire to go to the gym for a workout after work…. 😉
