- Seven seals with different entanglements show the different sorts of rubbish in our oceans. Seal number 3 is lucky to have made it to the beach. Dragging such a heavy net around its neck gave the baby seal no chance of making it. He could barely move. Weighing more than a wet rescue net, the net would’ve eventually killed the baby seal. Once again, our Leatherman Raptors had no problem cutting through the entanglement. 🦭

How did that poor pup ever make it back to the beach with that huge net hanging from her neck and choking her?! But lucky for her, she did, and on a day when OCN was there to save her life! Thanks, team!😇❤️

That kindergarten group of pups seemed to have brought every kind of entanglement for “show and tell”. They show their entanglements to our heroes and get to live to tell their stories of how their lives were saved Well done gentlemen!

That foggy morning turned out to be a very lucky morning for these 7 seals, especially for seal #3 dragging that big, wet net. It's a miracle that the poor pup succeeded getting out of the water. Thanks guys, great job!❤️🦭

Who told you we throw rubbish overboard? Fourth generation watermen here from a watermen town. I’ve never seen anyone throw rubbish over on any commercial boat I’ve been on, and I never seen you on any boat either.
Fishing lines and nets generally end up at sea unintentionally, fishing is pretty punishing on the hardware, sooner or later a line rips, a net gets entangled on something, etc.

Rescuing seals isn't a part of my life, at all. But I highly respect anyone who shows compassion like this...anywhere. And criticizing them seems kinda tone-deaf.

I find the man that has conversations with his “ patients “ attempting to calm them, has such empathy for the seals, particularly the little ones. You are all wonderful in what you do.
These men are the Guardian Angels of these seals in distress. God sees all the hard work the men do in caring for His creation. I know there is a special place in Heaven for them. Thank you.
I admire people who rescue animals. This is the way to exemplify the Golden Rule to its fullest.
Most people claim to be against animal cruelty, yet their everyday actions don't align with their claims. If you want to walk your talk, then be vegan. Veganism is a moral stand against animal exploitation and cruelty for selfish pleasure or profit and includes reverence for life.
Being vegan offers the best opportunity to develop one's empathy to the fullest. Empathy is something we should all be working hard to develop, seeing that it has nearly gone extinct in our species.

Wow! This is the most intense episode I’ve seen. You untangled 7 seals in a single run, and most of those were severe entanglements. Great work. I’m sure this is never an easy task, but you all do make it look easy. Your just good at what you do. Thank you for your service to wildlife and people!

More stark reminders of how companies around the world are doing virtually NOTHING to live in harmony with our animal Earth-mates. Also of just how much you all work. This seems honestly like a more typical sesson than the snippets we get to see. Just makes me appreciate your hard work even more. Well done OCN team.
Humans are human, much of this could be due to human error. Unfortunately wildlife pay the price for human existence. These guys are humanity also, like many others that have the opportunity and means to help the animal world.

So many😲 it really puts in perspective how much garbage is in the ocean when you have this many seals to rescue in one day. It also makes one sad to think of the ones who didn't make it back to shore and all the other sea life suffering😔. Thank You all🙏❤

The goal of these videos is to show the consequences of this pollution and create a change to tackle its roots - namely our addiction to single-use plastics, the lack of law enforcement at sea, and the shortcomings of the recycling industry.

@@SilverMe2004They are an actual non-profit organization. Plus, considering they're letting the animals back into the ocean, I find it a bit difficult to believe they're taking the animals back and hurting them on purpose.
This is sad how much this team has to work to fix these awful problems. I’m so grateful they’re doing it though. Their compassion is beyond admirable.

Loved each and every rescue, especially the baby who could hardly walk with that enormous and heavy rope entanglement. After the rescue the pup was joyfully running to the water! Doesn't get better than that! Many thanks to OCN.❤❤❤

The havoc we cause. Overshoot of people combined with stupid causes this suffering. Hopefully, we'll be gone soon. We've got it coming. Most of us, anyway.
Your team has gotten very quick at cutting the seals loose and allowing them to return to their lives. Thank you for all you do to help these entangled animals.
This is a skill we wish we never had to develop, but we are unfortunately very experienced by now.

That has got to be the most large and heavy entanglements you've ever done in one run. Usually there's only one or two big entanglements and the rest are thin lines or straps, but this was all massive amounts of debris weighing these creatures down.
