I didn't mention this in the video, but the Toyota is much more forgiving to drive than the Infinity (which will spin the moment throttle is applied). I like being able to throw the Toyota around. 😅
Loving RF2 alot at the moment! Finally got it dialed in with my SC2 pro, 3090, reverb g2 & transducers. Yeah btcc are great in ac as well! Cheers from Au
Hey Austin, thanks mate I'm trying to tweak Reshade it's not easy to get a spot on result with out effectively impacting something else. Definitely give your setting a go mate thank you! Cheers Ned 🤜💥🤛
Thanks mate will do, appreciate the time you took.... I know how fiddly it can be... Must be very patient with it. Have you tried the wiget exe file for rfactor 2? It's in this clip ruclips.net/video/rkmrMjVCsxE/видео.html
@@-racingfan2014 ReShade does have VR support, and I don't see why it cannot work with FSR. There is shader in ReShade that enables FSR if you want to do that too.
Hello, first of all congratulations, beautiful location and excellent guide! A doubt came to mind about simulation vs reality. I have heard of real professional drivers and many say that in real motorsport on the track there is little training (about two or three times a month of tests), due to excessive costs, other championships prohibit it by regulation and tests are limited, as well you will know F1 for example. While in virtual motorsport I have heard that the best drivers train 3 to 4 hours a day for about two weeks before each race, it is that for them it is essential if they want to achieve results and win. Well comparing the two as real pilots do with so little training go fast anyway ?! Will they also have a simulator at home that they use to prepare themselves, spending the same hours as virtual pilots do?! Thanks in advance for your reply, you are great!💪🏻🚘
F1 teams spend millions of dollars each year on developing their own racing simulations. Check out this video on BMW's racing simulator as well: ruclips.net/video/PUNERYwlKhQ/видео.html
Hey! Nope, I've kept it the same since this video. There really isn't any benefit to upgrading to newer versions of Reshade unless it's a major release. Often the newer releases will change how the shaders behave, so you have to constantly update and tweak your settings. You can still download the older version of reshade I use by using the links in the description.
Are you aware Nvidia has a built in "Reshade type filter". With Nvidia Experience enabled hit "ALT F3". its dangerously close to F4 so be careful. Reshade is still better tho. I also got a 3080 recently. I have to remove the side panel when I can smell the plastic from pc case. Never happened with my 2070. I've out grown caring about wet road eye candy. It's not ideal racing conditions(Sun in your eyes). Basic settings for all conditions is what I use.
Yes, however the game has to be supported by NVIDIA. Currently, rFactor2 is not supported. You can try hitting ALT+F3 while running rF2 and it will tell you there is an error. The only game I've used the NVIDIA Filters is on ACC; I believe iRacing has support too, but I don't play iRacing. Ya, the 3080 certainly requires a ton of cooling for smaller cases! @@abluelark Hey, I downloaded Monte Carlo '66 and at night in the wet it looks amazing with all the lights on, just wow. Also I drive a Q50s and will be getting it for rFactor 2.

What do you think about this one?

Used reshade on old pc and forgot about reinstalling it on the new 3090 rig. Thanks for reminding me! BTCC content is crazy fun.
Looks stunning. Nice work 👏🏼

Great. I love Laguna Seca since Indycar Racing II from Papyrus. Indycars make a lot of fun there.
Greetings from Germany.
Guten tag!
Laguna Seca is by far my favorite track. Not the best fit for racing, as overtaking is difficult. But for hot lapping, it’s perfect.

Let me know what you think! I probably spent 8-9 hours tweaking it to fit everything.
Make sure to install the correct ReShade version.

What psu are you using with the 3080 ?🤘🏼🏁

It is fine mate, but i lost 30fps..
You never say or show how to install it ?

Yup, nothing I can do about those reflections. They need to be softer

Right?
