Did all the steps ,,,still looks like utter CRAP !!! I don't have to do any of this with asetta corsa to get it to look good and I can't stand asseta corsa ffb but at least everything looks good .

In the game console it says that there is some kind of error. I checked all the boxes for installation and installed all files installed. help me please? becouse your work is amaizing/
Thanks for the guide and very nice explanation. But when I install reshade and load your preset, I just get vibrance,vignette and Adof. It doesn't load other shaders like clarity,adaptivesharpen and others in the video. Am I doing something wrong? My reshade version is 5.02 and installed all of it's components.
You were right! You will need to download ReShade version 4.9.1. (Check the description for an official link) This preset looks terrible with ReShade Version 5.0+.
@@vindowmaker5819 Then you've got a ReShade install issue. ReShade works just fine. Make sure that you are installing all the shaders/textures when selecting the rF2 exe.
Maybe you can help me out...just got rfactor 2 and for some odd reason the graphics look horrible 🤦... currently rocking a gtx 1660 ti...all other game titles like ac, acc, automobilista 2 all looks good but rfactor2 just looks super outdated
If you just got the game, do you own any DLC? The majority of the cars and tracks in the base game look awful. Check out some of the DLC, and look for the popular tracks on the steam workshop too.
I'm putting that video together right now. Just added it to my AI for a 5k upscale. Should be done in the morning. Spent an hour or two on the reshade file.
One of the sims where if you try it with the older content with the og setting you won't serve it justice, or you can look at it from a different perspective, one of the sims where they don't respect and update what you buy and try to sell you newer better content.
its a great vid but how do you turn it off because my gpu is quite old so my fps dropped down by a lot so i disabled all of them but my fps is still low its at 60 to 100 and that is low settings when i would normally get 200fps it looks like the one that is still on is the one that makes your rev lights and stuff like that brighter but they arent turned on and ive even deleted the files but it still works when i press the home button can someone get to me quickly thanks
@@abluelark I done it all but with resade my RF2 will not work . create a new player.json ,selected dx9 for test, etc ,switch off MSI Afterburner . ??? I gave up now

Dear Austin, that looks amazing, but i wonder if this reshade is working with the game or is something you do with the replays... its estunint!!
This is all in game! No filters is post production or replay.
How are you running this at Ultra preset smoothly? I have a 6600XT (RTX 3060 equivalent) and I get 40fps on ultra

I'll check if my reshade file works with the latest version of Reshade. I know this was made using 4.9

@charzrd beast never heard rocking and 1660ti in the same sentence lol. You will struggle on that card to run good mods

Run the ReShade installer again, and then from there you can choose to remove ReShade from that game.
@@abluelark i did that and it said some failed to delete so i guess im just ganna have to live with it anyway thanks for helping
@@AJ_racing25 in that case just find and delete: reshade-shaders folder, dxgi.dll and dxgi.log.

Unfortunately, ReShade is in early alpha for VR.
on my RF2 installation it will not start RF2 ,when i I install resade . Anyone knows why ?
Try reinstalling reshade. Make sure are using the correct rFactor2 exe file.
Also, Reshade doesn't work in VR. That could be another possibility.

I get 55-70 FPS depending on the track in rF2.
