Hey everyone. I hope you all are doing well. Today I am playing Gears Tactics on the most powerful PC in the world, which NASA lent me over the weekend. As you can see all the settings have been cranked up to Ultra except for Ambient Occlusion & Dynamic Shadows. This is the first time I have ever played a strategy turn-based game, I shit you not, because I find this genre slow and too much work, but so far I am really enjoying this Gears spinoff.

When was the last time you cleaned your laptop or got it serviced?

@@aleex6111There's ur answer. It needs maintenance. The stock thermal paste isn't very good on this laptop. Get the Arctic Silver MX 4 or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, these are the best. Open your laptop and clean the fans and reapply the paste (first u'd need to clean the old paste using alcohol). There are a lot of good videos online that show how to apply the paste to Lenovo Y520. Once u have cleaned and applied the new paste, undervolt the cpu.
