MotoGP22 is your yearly affair which comes out every year. In MotoGP you can only take part in Professional races, bike collection is limited to only one kind of bikes. Ride is more like Forza Horizon. You are not limited to only professional races, the variety of bikes in Ride 4 is unrivalled, the level of bike and rider customization is also unrivalled, graphics are more or less the same. If you are new to the genre start with Ride 4. Moto gp will get boring way too soon since there isn't much variety to anything.

@@Darkhound1116 Cheers for the head's up mate. I've just purchased a PS5 and seen these 2 titles on the store. Knowing my luck I'll buy Ride 4 today and Ride 5 will come out tomorrow lol.

@@maydaygoingdown5602 Ride 5 won't come out till 2023. Ride was always like a dream project for Milestone team. They treat it with a lot of love and take their time making it. So I presume by mid 2023 we'll have another Ride game.

I was the same but after watching many vids I have ordered Ride 4 much more varied and the Career looks like it could be good. Managed to get it for £19.99 for Series X awaiting delivery tomorrow. Bloody Microsoft are selling it on market place for £49.99 lol 😆 bandits

haha! thank you. This is one of those tracks that I know like the back of my hand so it is easy for me to assess when to throttle and when to brake.

haha! I understand, actually this footage is of the day I bought Kawasaki Ninja H2R in Ride 4 and I was simply testing out the speed on this track in a quick race. Also, I am a newbie in this game.

There is no free roam specific mode. What I have done here is from the main menu selected quick race>Time Trial>selected track and bike>and then went in game. After that, I disabled all the hud elements so I am not bothered by them. That is how I create my own free roam. In a time trial you do not have to worry about time running out or opponents.

Haha! you know this is exactly what I felt when I simply decided to upload it. This video was not even supposed to get this kind of attention but thanks to a pal of mine this video got more than its fair share. I had originally planned to use Harley Davidson for this but because I had just unlocked this bike in game I thought about giving it a test ride.

Well it isn't like they couldn't implement vigorous vibrations in the game because the first person replay mode is the proof that it is possible however I believe it is a design choice in order to keep the motion sickness induced to the minimum. Digital Foundry did an analysis and said the same thing that it was a design choice to have it this way. If you have seen those crazy first person Ride 4 replays you know exactly what I am talking about it would be impossible for me to play it like that. The rain effects don't show up on the visor for the simple reason that I am playing in first person outside helmet view because then the sound is not muffled and I like it that way, wind gushing by, rain drops falling, sound of engine etc. If you want to see the rain dripping down from the visor you can choose the First person inside camera view and all your camera issues with this video will be sorted but then all sound would be muffled and since I wear a tinted helmet it would alter the colour of the scenery.

@@Darkhound1116 Ah I see! Just found some gameplay footage from the actual 1st person view! Now THAT looks exactly like the real thing! Makes me want to book a track-day for the weekend… 😛 Thanks for the tip! I didn’t like that weird artificial drone-camera since everything else looks pretty realistic. Btw.: Motion sickness is best avoided by controlling peripheral vision - which they could have done by “framing” the image using the motorcycle helmet. Many VR games have settings for that as motion sickness is quite a problem for those games…

@@Qiyokuu You’re assuming incorrectly. This particular bike is a at home on a smooth race track, so, when bolting down regular streets at speed - it will feel rough. If you want to see wobbles - just watch Moto GP.

I only hv r3 but i agree, no feel to the road and bike, even shifting doesnt seem to react, its like a smooth floating ride too much. I prefer in iom tt2 and rims the feel of road and mechanic reaction. The view does feel like the bike is rotating downwards like swaying on an axis from the rider's head, idk, not quite right, the impression is the head of rider follows your riding line instead of the tire contact to the road. Mb its a visual illusion but its bothersome, no issue lik tht in iom2 and rims helmet views, even with rider leaning to the side of the bike. That's y u often see vids where players in rider/helmet view in ride3,4 games going wide in change of direction. I would prefer hv the replay helmet pov as a gameplay choice view

Yes the track is really good. I also play at around 40-45% difficulty, although because I like all the minute physics detail in third person camera, I set physics to the most realistic, while having all the assists off. The AI at highest level is just borderline absurd.....lol

Hie! No, this is not replay mode. There is a lot of misinformation regarding this game out there. All the gameplay on my channel of Ride 4 are gameplays and not replay. The replay mode can only be accessed only after the completion of a race, it isn't available in something like this where I am driving at my own leisure without having to compete with other racers. Here are the following camera modes available in Ride 4: 1) Third Person near; 2) Third Person Far; 3) First Person Outside Helmet View; 4) First Person Inside Helmet View. As you can tell I am using the First Person Outside Helmet view. Here is how to tell the difference between the replay footage and the gameplay footage in Ride 4. Replay footage amps up the motion to 11 so every time you brake or accelerate and every time you are riding at high speed you can see all the vibrations and little bumps because the aim of the replay camera is to mimic the authentic go pro experience of driving at such high speeds. This would make it impossible to play because it would induce so much motion sickness that is why it is restricted to replay mode. However, the developers have found the perfect balance of realism and player comfort while designing the actual first-person camera mode the one you see here.

In the main menu, simply select quick Race or Race and then select Time Trial. Choose your bike, track, time and Weather conditions and you are good to go. This is the only way and this is what I do. However I will recommend learning to drive first.

Actually it looks far better than Driveclub as it is running at dynamic 4k resolution. It looks really good when you are playing it on a good 4k tv with HDR 10 support

It is a bike simulator which is usually played in third person camera which means the entire bike is visible and the camera is positioned away from the bike which simulates the friction better, as you can see the suspension and tire slips at corners. However when you switch to First Person camera like here, in order to reduce the motion sickness that would other wise be caused while having a go pro like experience, the game camera eliminates the small bumps on the road which makes the overall clip appear a bit floaty. What is happening is the rider is leaning the entire bike sideways every time there is a turn. There is a setting inside the game to turn this off but it would make this unplayable.

Unfortunately no this is a professional bike simulator. I carefully chose this specific track, the weather and disabled the entire hud to make it look like this. The only npc in the game is the audience during races. There are 2 other videos on the channel that show exactly what this game is. Thanks for checking this out. Have a nice day.
