Prada makeup is no joke. I have several of the lipsticks and I love them. I have this quad and the quad with the purple. The formulas are just so good and they last in my oily lids. The foundation looks great on my 55 year old combo/oily skin in summer and winter. That never happens for me! Prada is my favorite luxury makeup brand hands down.

Every time I see Singe brushes in action, I think to myself that I need them! They apply every kind of eyeshadows so effortlessly!

The nice things about those luxury tools in eyeshadow palettes, is that they're great for indie shimmer eyeshadows. Esp. the sponge ones and all that. I forgot where I saw this, but the person used it to help a shimmer/glitter multichrome apply more evenly. Idk, the South Asian in me likes to repurpose everything lol. I've even see it be used for liner, but that tip didn't stick out to me the same.

Angie, I'm glad you took one for the team, yet a little late where I'm concerned. When Prada launched last year, I was told that it would be well into 2024 before getting to Australia - still not here! I delved into the Selfridges international yearly shipping and bought all of the Prada Eye Palettes and seven of the lighter matte Lipsticks. I don't usually wear matte Lipsticks as I have rather dry lips! These are beautifully moisturising that I want to test them all, except I swore myself into a low-buy this year.😢 (If you haven't tried Rabanne, another to delve into!). I wish you had of tried the satin formula, it's beautiful on the lids too. After all of this time, you are the first who finally was game enough to try the orange shade, no-one else that I've yet to see has been game enough to jump into this palette yet. Good for you! Now, I'm not in the demographic you were referring to in regards to those little brushes that come in the palettes. I don't go as far as to throw them out, yet would never use them. Earlier last year on another channel, this topic came up and the host was bombarded with how different these little brushes have become, even those foam things, and were well worth trying out. This was just before Easter when ChaneI had released the Delices Quad. I hadn't put my make-up on yet and thought I'd give these things a go. Guess what? They worked!!! None of the product was absorbed by the shadow into the sponge, despite how many times I kept examining them. Even the little brush worked, very well. Imagine my surprise to believe this was no-one joking about, but real. Of course, we're going to have particular shadows that we much prefer to use our own brushes with, in your case, your own company, yet I will have to now bite my tongue and not be too fast to condemn these little brushes. I'm far from trying each brand I own, as there are quite a number of them sitting here, yet I would recommend you at least give them a go again and see just how far technology has changed over the years. I was completely pessimistic about these and have now found out brands like Clé de Peau are selling new brushes for their palettes. I know it would be hard for one in your position to admit some of these can work, but a least for those who can't afford to buy brush sets, there is an alternative, even for travel. I can't believe I'm saying this either, yet in my trial, those darn little things did their job! Don't forget, after you've bought up all of the Prada, go for the Rabanne! Have fun.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

I'm interested in the Prada foundation, it's slightly more expensive, but to me, sometimes it's worth it. That quad is also pretty. You look gorgeous as always! I need to purchase your brushes too. Love from NZ.
Those tools in the eye shadow palette are good If you have a shimmer that's a little finicky and you don't wanna use your finger, or you have long nails and you can't use your finger. If You use those little tools that come in the eye shadow palette. They are absolutely amazing. To use to put on a finicky shimmer.

As someone whose skin is so sensitive I have to use differin over tretinoin, something that helps me is to put Vaseline or aquaphor under my eyes before the retinol product. That really helped my undereyes.

I think “old school lipstick scent” is from caster oil. I realized that when I started using it by itself.

This look definitely turned out beautiful.., would I buy any of it? Hmmm, yes I probably would bc I’m insane! My kids are grown now, and now that im able to spend on me.., I sometimes do! I believe the luxury brands keep tools in bc those luxury customers may be bringing those compacts out with them, and they don’t want to carry a brush set? Idk, if I’m bringing my makeup somewhere, my brushes are coming out with me too! If I were like 60, maybe I wouldn’t?

Actually, I would guess that most consumers of Prada Beauty *aren't* buying runway line Prada clothing. Like most "luxury" cosmetics brands, they are aiming for the customer that likes the idea of Prada, but doesn't want to spend the $800 on a jacket. But $80 on a pretty little jewel of an an eyeshadow compact is more doable. So I'd say that while we in the beauty community aren't exactly their usual customer, we are still in their market.

I appreciate you showing that the quality stands up. I am always going for pigmentation and it bums me out when the luxury brands are just a barely there wash of color on the lids. That being said these color stories aren’t for me.

Gorgeous look Angie!!! I’ve never watched a content creator use a full Prada eyeshadow quad like you did. It’s such a pretty look! I purchased the new Fenty Beauty concealer and I don’t know how I feel about it. My birthday is on Saturday so I treated myself to some Botox after a full year of doing nothing, it gives me confidence. I know it’s not for everyone. Anyway my under eyes are very smooth right now I’m going to be 37 and I have dry skin. I thought the new concealer was going to be a slam dunk for me but I’ve noticed that the concealer fades a lot during the day and creases no matter the powder I use. I don’t use a lot of concealer but who knows maybe I need to use even less but the fading is what bothers me the most.

You are the first person I’ve seen to show the Hyper Matte lipstick in the shade B01 Argile! 😍 I have that shade in my basket & I’ve been waiting to see it applied! ❤ The whole look is gorgeous!
You nail it girl! I bought 4 shades and almost all the hyper matte lipsticks and can’t say one is more beautiful than the other one. That formula it’s compressive with a low pressure and it’s reason why it doesn’t present fall outs. Gorgeous look you did! It’s worth of the price and so sophisticated! Angelica, it would be nice to see you review a YSL eyeshadow quad thing. Ik most of them are neutral, but they do have a blue one called Palmaraie Skies. The release seems new so maybe by the time you decide to review, there will be more color choices. But I WOULD love to see your spin on it, esp. making a look. I think you're the only person I can think of who would try to do a proper, full on look with a luxury eyeshadow. Love you ❤

Okay - so I love that foundation (I did receive free to review) and I have dry to very dry skin (I'm also 42 yrs old). I do NOT care for the eyeshadow I received, though it's pretty - just not the pigmentation I wanted. I also received the lipstick - the RED one, and I LOVE it. I cannot buy as I only BUY cruelty free, but if that does not constrain someone, it's worth it.
For the price, that shimmer shadow should’ve popped and sparkled like a disco ball. I don’t know, I just expected more. But as long as you like it, that’s all that matters.
I could never spend this amount of just foundation, but the prada foundation seems to have good reviews, I saw Charlotte Holdcroft and Martina lily review it very positively. But the price is so high, I think I will stick to high end until one day I can afford these expensive luxury foundations

If luxury customers want tools - put tools in... Revolutionary idea - put GOOD tools in. Sigma has brushes in their pallets - and it rocks, since it's a Sigma brush. For the prices luxury brands ask they can afford to produce top notch applicators for their pallets, not the cheap carp they are putting in - people who think thous are "luxury" obviously never held a proper brush in their life... Probably use the "luxury applicators" exclusively, so they don't even know what they are missing.

A component idea or 2:
For lip products, a pot like the gel eyeliner that have the brush on the lid, so one can get at the bottom of them🥳. I haven't seen it from any brand.
Mascara with squizzable tube, so one can move product around, I've seen it only with Eyeko
Actually Urban Decay made a lip product similar to what you are describing years ago called Lo-Fi Lip Mousse. The applicator was in the bottom of the component. I still have 2 of them, and they weren't bad at all.

Gorgeous as always! Im surprised how well this turned out. While I dont have much experience with luxury brands, a lot of the experience I do have has turned out poorly, especially with eyeshadow. In all fairness, it has been a very long time since I've tried something luxury.

I bought tons of Dior palettes in the late 80s 90s I used those tools and the 5 pans were 42.00 each
I like the tools in the eyeshadow. If I'm on a plane traveling let's say to Finland where my family lives I want to be able to touch up my eyeshadows. And using those tools are perfect. I'm not going to carry makeup tools on my pack on. Or if I'm in the car and I need to touch up the eyes. That's just my opinion. Also a lot of those rich folk travel and probably use the tools.

By the way...about your dry eyelids...sigma beauty eyeshadow primer is amazing as eyeshadow primer, the best...BUT it made my eyelids dry and crusty with time (also Kaleidos one), it took me time to realise it was that eyeshadow primer, and that is why I use Rare Beauty eyeshadow primer as it doesn't make my eyelids dry and crusty, is more emollient and if you leave a bit of time it will set and be good for the eyeshadows. Yes, not as hood as Sigma one, but with age you prefer your eyelids not to be dry and flecking. And yes I'm combo skin too.
oh no it's my undereyes that are dry :) my lids are not, and I've been using this primer for like 7 years :)

I got the profusion eyeshadow palette, I thought the chartreuse color looked more yellow in the photography and reviews online…but I feel something is a little off in person, and foundation. I mainly got it for the packaging. I’m a raccoon, just a sucker for something shiny. I wish Ulta had sold them tho, anymore Sephora just depresses me with their “rewards” and makes me angry w the issues I’ve had w them.
Luxury tools? 😂They are a necessity! I am 48 and 25 years ago when I started using Chanel and Dior and those little sponges and brushes were used all the time. Also when I go to work to the office and I would like to touch up blush and eyeshadow - would I do that with my fingers or with the luxury tools? So, even though I own a respectable fude assortment by now, I truly appreciate the add on. Thanks for the review.
