I actually had a very different experience. I love the foundation and the eye shadow palettes. The finish on the foundation is beautiful and I get a day’s wear out of it, no problem. I find the quads refreshing. And I am enjoying the lipsticks too. The prices are in line with other luxury products, so, once again, it really depends on what a person thinks is worth the price for them! Different strokes . . . !

Some people are able to afford it but why would you because you’re basically paying for the name and not the quality.

Even though I could afford it, I’m not stupid enough to put that much money into a company’s pocket! Especially when there’s some amazing products that are just as good and a reasonable price.
Thank you Morgan for not convincing me… I was intrigued with the foundation but you talked me out of it and for that I say thank you, because that price is quite steep especially if it doesn’t perform to balance the cost! 👍🏼
Another reviewer mentioned her lipsticks were also shaking around in the case, so she had to press the refill component in until it clipped, which solved the problem. 😊
This is a stunning brand with sophisticated textures. I'm over 50 and it's great for me. I adore indie shadows but they no longer suit my eyelids. That eyeshadow look you did was gorgeous!!!! ❤

I kind of like how the lavender shadow faded throughout the day. It blends into the brown tones better than on first application. Still not in my price range, but I think it's pretty.

I don’t like lux eyeshadow formulas (not a wash of colour kind of girl!) so not sure why I bought this, but I got the cool toned shade (Profusion) and found it really pigmented - I was impressed. I also just bought the refill, which was on sale at Selfridges over Christmas, so that was a lot kinder on the wallet! xx

Thanks for reviewing the brand. I got the foundation in the same shade and it oxidizes a bit towards peach. Interesting you mention the zit as I sometimes thought it would break me out too. I much more like the finish of the reformulated Armani Power Fabric plus foundation... HG status. I am impressed by Prada's soft matte formulation. I got 4 shades and they are stunning. The omly other matte formula which remains my favorite is Guerlain Velvet matte. Thanks again for the review. Greetings from Switzerland!

That shade range on the foundation does not look too well rounded....looks like there are not many deeper shades.

Thank you for the review! Nothing groundbreaking, it seems. Although eyeshadows look nice on you even after some wear, but it's not cool that the dark brown is not dark enough. The comments re foundation looking nice on ageing skin are intriguing. Overall it looks like this can wait till some major sale and if you have some extra $$ to spend.

I usually choose the shade you have but in this one I think I want to try MN 40 ! I'm on the FENCE!!!! Maybe I'll for for LN 25 LOL. The soft matte lipstick reminds me of the MAC powder Kiss
I think all of it looks so beautiful on you!! The eyeshadow looks flawless and those colours really suit you! Love how the matte lipstick looked too, I’m so surprise it didn’t dry out your lips by the end of the day. Your skin looked flawless too with the foundation…do you like it better if you touch up with powder throughout the day? Or is it just too slick overall? I heard because of the skincare ingredients your skin gets glowier as the day goes on. I’m guessing you like the Louboutin foundation better?

It's 2024... These luxury brands need to just stop with the useless, stupid "brushes" in the compacts. Give us more actual shadow in the space the brushes go. 🤦🏻♀️ I can spend $80 for a full size eyeshadow palette from an indie brand that has 10x more pigment. 🤷🏻♀️ The refillable aspect is nice but not for those prices, IMO.
That lipstick is such a pretty colour, your eye look is beautiful as well.....too expensive for me though maybe if it goes on offer lol
I actually like the foundation, I just wish it was a bit fuller coverage. However, it DOES oxidise so maybe go down a shade. it does wear well on mature skin
i wonder if your blush isnt getting along with the foundation - maybe try with a lighter, softer blush, like a sheer cream? I know some of my products interact very differently with others.

I'd rather have the YSL quad for a first designer eye shadow 😅 the Prada was not impressive compared to much cheaper brands.
I confess I own no Tom Ford, Dior or Prada quads, but I can't believe they add those crummy applicators. Do they honestly think their high end customers actually use them? It's the opposite of luxurious. Anyway, you look fabulous in those products, but I've seen looks just as pretty with Colourpop, honestly.
Agreed!! 💯 cheapens the luxury feel …. Definitely should have just added another color in that space and call it a day !! Ridiculous insult to the buyers 😉 adding such cheap applicators!
As someone who does own multiple luxury quads from different brands I do often use the applicators because they actually work! They are not identical to cheap applicators as they last much longer and can be washed.. Speaking from actual experience. They are also always working for the formulas in the quads. Especially the mini brushes often pick up the pigments better than a lot of other random brushes. I don't care how something appears in case of tools I care if it works. Clearly they won't work for everyone but if you have the mobility to use them they do work very well

The purple looks beautiful on you. I like luxury makeup but I will pass on this brand. Luxury products are only for vanity purposes, not because they are actually better in quality.
If you have been so interested in Prada makeup, which isn't worth the price point, I struggle to understand why you wouldn't try Lisa Eldridge makeup. I'd be more interested in your opinion on that than on Prada makeup.

For Boxing Day Selfridges had 20% off Prada Beauty - I picked up the same quad as you.
The eye palette in portrait 04 has “similar” vibes to my TOM FORD African violet palette. So I’m not that tempted to rush out and purchase. As for the foundation, yeah, I thought it’s was lovely on me. Need to return because the shade was too light on me.

I was thrown off by the refillable options being “out of stock”. Had they been in stock I probably would’ve but the bullet.

My only thing is do i want the one with the billard green pop, the sky blue one, or the dark cool shades with the chartreuse pop. It seems like these have my preferred texture, ive got to whwre i wonrmt even buy anymore eyeshadow unless its got a cream to powder style texture. (The new Tom Ford cream powder quad formulas, dior backstage mattes, the chanel quad mattes, the natasha cp shades, etc. Ill pass on the foundation and probably the lipstick too. But yeah thanks for the review...
I have the one with the green, and it’s one of my favorite palettes ever. The formula is like nothing else!
I should note that the lipsticks are also incredible - beyond amazing.
I got the foundation and the lipstick in the hyper matte. I love them both. Like you, I feel the foundation is probably somewhat more worth it if you were going to pick just one product to buy - but then, I'm a lipstick junkie, and I always have to try at least one of a brand that piques my interest. The lipstick is probably more expensive for what it is than the foundation, which IMHO, isn't that outrageously overpriced. I've bought things that were less expensive at Sephora from brands touted as being high end, and I was a lot more disappointed with those. I really feel the foundation is worth the bucks; the lipstick is probably $10 more than it should be, but at these prices, that's not such a big deal. (Now tell me if you'll be reviewing Cle de Peau's new $110 lipstick and their $115 blurring powder!) :)
I only tried one of their eyeshadows, the one with the yellow shade and didn’t really like the black shade in there, not pigmented enough for me, the other shades were ok, but not really using that much because I have better palettes

The only other lux brand I've ever been interested in is Chanel.. but... I could be intrigued...depending on reviews
I'd follow people who regularly review these brands as you will get more reliable information on the formula and better comparisons between the brands. Lexi Jong is very descriptive on formulas and wear, does very detailed comparisons and great swatches. Or Sophia Sees Beauty - she tries a good number of high end and luxury and can make helpful comparisons in formulas and quality

Do you have any suggestions on how to cover bumps or scars? I've tried using a green corrector but it doesn't work.
I had the foundation in my cart to purchase because I was so excited to try it, but saw another review mentioning it has chemical sunscreen (thank you for mentioning it too). Since I’m expecting, I had to remove it 😢. SPF 17 offers no protection and just seems pointless. Would have loved to try but I’ll just have to wait until later this year.

I would say to check out the YSL quads! morgan mentioned them in so many recent videos.
@lilyk7563 I bought the YSL love collection multi use palette, and for me, it sucks! I guess I should have worded it differently. What I mean is, which of the Dior palettes perform well. I know the Dior Soft Cashmere is a good palette, but which others do well also. Companies tend to change their formula all the time. Thank you for your suggestion! That was very kind of you!

I was planning on getting this palette, but now I would rather get a Dior or Tom Ford.
Dior’s new formula (talc free) is a step down. My beloved Soft Cashmere is now just an ok choice. The dark shade is a bit patchy and it doesn’t have the shine. Other color stories have suffered the same fate. I would definitely watch reviews before buying a palette. Some are okay. It depends on the color story.
If you like pretty impact full shimmers the new Dior is a miss w very few exceptions. If you can I'd really look at them in person. Also do yourself a favour and check out Lexi Jong! She does much more detailed reviews of these, better swatches, comparisons AND EYE SWATCHES
The Prada formula blows both of those away, and I have plenty of Dior and Tom Ford quads. There is ZERO fallout with these.

Nothing says "luxury" like instant finger smears all over the box... I wish high end brands did not do this "shiny surface" thing - it just looks instantly messy as soon as anyone touches it...
Although what's up with dirt cheap applicators in thous boxes? The only brand I like the "applicator included" thing from so far is Sigma - because the brushes are actually good - if you can't do "lux" brushes, don't do any at all.

France & Italy in particular specialize in luxury formulas/goods! While not the end all be all, being formulated in the country of labs that have a lot of connections to luxury brands is a good sign 👍🏼
Im not a fan of these super lux brands like prada, gucci, tom ford, chanel etc, I think dior is the only brand of that category that I like. But I prefer high end makeup brands rather than these fashion houses doing makeup
To bad the Prada foundation has fragrance I really wish they would leave out fragrance in makeup.

Parada is over priced
This line is NOT for me. There are so many indy brands that I'd rather support and would get a ton more options for the $$$. I am not a name gal.
