That's because Mattel sued Aqua for Barbie Girl during it's release back in 1997. I don't think they'll want anything to do anything with the song... even though that is one of main selling points. You don't lick back your spit.
@@zuanidrys462the judge threw the case out and they have settled their issues. The barbie film which was co-produced by Mattel also featured a remix of Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” on it. I’m sure they’re fine now
I'm have bought this for my 9 year old daughter as her first phone. I want to keep her off a smart phone until at least secondary school so this is perfect. As a 40 year old this phone brings back memories of our original phones, The Nokia 3310 being the best phone ever! I want to know is it open to any sim card? Does it come with a SIM card? Help please?
I actually use the barbie phone as my main phone. It's how 2000s it is that i like it so much, shitty camera included. Brings me so much nostalgia and it does exactly what i need it to do which is make calls and recieve sms. I feel as if I have so much free time all of a sudden and i've only been using it for a month or so, its amazing how much time my old phone took away from me. Those things are mostly related to it being a dumb phone but the fact that it's barbie and decently affordable is a plus
Davis, a few days ago, I had a dream where I got a very strange Palm Treo. It had the body of a silver 755p, but it had the same menu cluster and trackball as a BlackBerry 8310. Despite this, it ran PalmOS. The OS looked the same as it does on a real 680, but it had all the Google services except the Play Store. It also had Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It didn't have a name in the dream so I refer to it as the "Palm Treo 810". It had a T-Mobile logo on the back. Figured you would wanna hear about this, since the very first video I ever saw from you was the Treo 650 unboxing. In 2024, the Treo 810 would DEFINITELY feel out of place if it were real.
@@DavisFangTech yeah, I don't really think it's a Nokia thing. Had my number for over 20yrs so I need the whitelist option. To not have it is not an option, as soon as I take my phone off the whitelist....insurance and ppl from foreign countries phone me. so I need the contact list only....But if anyone gets this phone and would like to reply to this comment with an informed answer that'd be great! (i need this phone in my life)🤣
Hi there. Thank you for the Barbie phone and unpacking. I didn't see any information about Bluetooth... What about music? And how to connect headphones? Waiting for an answer as soon as possible.
I love it! I don’t know what I’m gonna even use it for but I’m buying it lol, I never even had one of these since I’m 15 but I’m obsessed with the 2000s and pink so I’m getting it! 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
It's as good as the movie😅. Come on, HMD, even though we seek digital detox and retro design, we are not THAT dumb. Hopefully Nokia steps it up in the hands of somebody else because you really blew it.
the phone is really just worth $30. the rest went to mattell as royalty payment lol
Yeah, the phone that it’s based off is half the price ahaha
I'm shocked "I'm a Barbie girl" 🎵 🎶 song isn't already installed.
They probably couldn’t afford the licence ahaha

@@zuanidrys462 You must not have heard the soundtrack for the Barbie movie
@@SeamusFlynnProbably just for marketing. Putting the song on the movie's soundtrack would draw even more attention.
Does it sing aya yie aya yie I'm a little butterfly?
Not unless you load it onto the phone unfortunately
@@DavisFangTech Aw
@@DavisFangTechwait did u take it seriously 😭😭☝️

Me too ! Lol
SUPER CUTE OMG thank you for reviewing this!
I was wondering if there is a feature wherein you can download a song and make it as the ringtone?
Yes, you can add ringtones from your music library
I appreciate your pink polo too 😊
I tried ahaha
@@DavisFangTech it was appreciated 😀

It doesn’t come with a SIM card . It’s unlocked to use on any network
If they made a Pikachu version, I'd actually buy it. :D
it is nice but not for that price, is too expensive for what it is
should be "aiyaiya tondolibu buterfly" ringtone 😂
Great for my teen daughter with additional needs. Glad there's no internet 😊
29 isn't that old
Fair
It should have had selfie camera.
True, or at least a 5mp main camera
If it's mimicking the old phones from, the 2000s those ones didn't have selfie cameras
Even the old Razr 3 had a selfie camera in 2004

Can you make it so it only accepts callers from your contact list? Like the Doro!
Can’t find something referencing that in the settings, not 100% sure though

Just says "notify me when available"
Which sucks cause I really want it. I'm tired of my smartphone
It seems to be more popular than they had expected!
This reminds me so much of my pink Sony Ericsson (z610i) flip phone that I had in high school!
It definitely is quite nostalgic!

Does it have wifi?
Not the UK/Aus version; the upcoming US release is rumoured to have it though
I want that stickers for my laptop🥺
I would love to have Y2K Barbie Fliphone because it's pink & makes me feel GAY more ❤
Can you add music? How do we even do that now? hahaha
Just plug it into a computer and it is like a USB stick!

As reviews should be!
Can i load e books to the files and read ?
Not from my understanding
Hi 😊just wondering can you use this phone as a hotspot and so you can connect to wifi on your tablet or other device? Thanks
Hi.. thanks for your review! So can’t connect to WiFi?? Can you send messages to contacts just not what’s app? Can it do videos ?
Does this phone have predictive text? My current dumb phones does not and its quite depressing. Deffo do not want one without again 😊
