  • Opened in 2020, the 165, 000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Cleveland Brothers Gas Engine Rebuild Center (ERC) was designed to service Cat® gas compression engines, including the G3500 series and G3600 series.
    Engines received at our facility are disassembled down to the bare block, inspected and rebuilt. Our capabilities include rebuilding to a true Cat zero-hour engine or another custom rebuild, following Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

    Too bad they stopped making highway truck engines (class 8). All throughout the '70s, '80s and '90s, the owner of my company bought strickly brand new long hood Pete's spec'd out with Cat engines. Back then, it did not get any better.

      I think about how many more they would make if they didn't get busted for smog fraud. Whenever I see someone discuss diesel smog, I alys mentioned that I thought about getting a 2010 VW Jetta diesel, and I am glad I didn't. I would feel so embarrassed.
      Well, that's okay, modern German cars are usually a pain to work on.
