I am old enough to be your grandfather, and I take my hat off to you. I have supported a number of young people who took their own paths, some with success, others not so much so. It would be naive for everyone to think they can follow in your footsteps. You obviously have an unusual talent for what you do and if not unique, it is quite unusual. Just found your channel buddy, very impressive and enjoyable stuff. I also just left my railroad career two weeks ago but to work for CAT; something I’ve always loved being around and I’m proud to work in the heavy equipment world. I worked for not one but two railroads and I just had enough and decided it wasn’t worth the 40 years myself; I’m very thankful for my experience there and it taught me a lot but I am so excited for the new chapter ahead, doing something I’ve always genuinely enjoyed! Subscribed for sure, keep the inspiration coming! 🔧

...what a helluva remarkable guy - most certainly understands what he’s doing to the tune of a specialist physician.
So i’m going to follow his work fastudiously and see what he comes up with.
Not often one comes upon such raw talent which amounts to natural gold in nugget form.
    Well done.
Really enjoy your work presented - a most interesting journey, for which i thank you sincerely from the Fairest Cape in ZA.

I think these videos are wonderful. KT3406E is a superb mechanic, really knows his stuff and is delight to watch and listen to. I'm also very envious of his magnificent workspace/playground! It can't be easy making these videos as you're trying to do your job, but me and 77K+ others are really glad that you do. Thanks, Chris from London UK.

I like how you added the oil by dumping it over the valve train, kinda kills two birds with one stone.
