Update on how my good ol' goiter is doing (spoiler alert: not super great...) Also, witness my ADHD in action, distracting me hardcore throughout this vlog.
I just came across your vlog.. I too have ADHD, anxiety, hashimoto's, and hypothyroidism... lol. how in the hell do you cope. Lol. I need to get to the doctor, but I'm not wanting to take medication again.. are you able to deal with your anxiety without medication? I couldn't find an update for the vlog that made me stumble across you. (Adhd/anxiety vlog)
Welcome! It isn't easy coping with ADHD, anxiety, hashis, and hypo is it! You're in good company here. I just finished moving across the country so I am hoping to get back to posting new videos VERY soon! I can talk in more detail about how I cope with my anxiety and everything without meds if you'd like! But in short, I AM able to deal without medication. Some times are harder than others. I am currently in a season where I'm doing relatively well.
OH MY GOD. I just thought my food felt like it was getting stuck because of my anxiety. But you just described how my throat feels in very specific details. I spent hours trying to get that "piece of food" out the first time I ever had the sensation.
Well maybe you’re onto something then! There are other things that can cause that sensation though so don’t worry that you’ve got a big ol goiter right away!
T4 only meds suck! I would strongly suggest going on a NDT such as NP Thyroid. You may not be converting your T4 (non-active) to T3 (active hormone). If you are capable of getting your T3 numbers in your lab work optimal, the nodules can shrink. You may have to switch to an integrative med Dr. or a functional if your endo won't treat with more than a synthetic t4 only. I strongly suggest you check out Stop The Thyroid Madness protocol. Best Wishes to you.
I am currently not on any sort of medication for ADHD. I'm sure it would help immensely with the memory issues and easy distractibility! But right now I'm not taking anything.
@@SugarDugs I have Hashimoto's and I am not even diagnoses with ADHD.. but I have tried vyvanse (for help with my very rigorous studying) like once or twice a month.. it has literally helped my hormones and calms my anxiety so much.. it has actually helped my hashimotos and there are no negative side effects except for very minor lessening of appetite
Hm. That is an interesting question! I have always been one to get one or two hiccups whenever I drink soda but I don't think it has anything to do with my goiter.
Why are you me omg this video is the most relatable thing I’ve ever seen so thank you
hashimotos and ADHD go hand in hand,

Watch any caffeine, restricting caffeine, gluten and dairy helps. Also get some mag07 from Amazon. Helps keep you regular

Thanks for the advice!
do you take vyvanse for the ADHD?

Do you have frequent hiccups because of that?

I can't say that I have!
