      Turn dial to desired station, hit 2 times per day and then use the left side toggle under the time to scroll to midnight. It should now say “off” now hit one time per day button (repeat for other stations). Return dial to run/auto position done. Hope that helps, don’t forget to Subscribe to our Channel.😁

    I see this is an old video, but I'm hoping I can get an answer. My HOA requires specific days AND TIMES for watering, but the TIMES for each of the two days are different. Tuesday's allowed times are 8:30am to 10:00am. Friday's times are 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Is it possible to set my SST-400i to do that? Thanks!

    • @garyssprinklerrepair
      @garyssprinklerrepair  9 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately no, the days of the week yes. The different start and stop times on Tuesday and Fridays no.
      You would need to purchase a timer that has at least an A&B program.
      Hope that helps, don’t forget to Subscribe to our Channel it really helps us grow.✌️

    When I add a 2nd watering time for the day, setting the duration will change the 1st watering duration. I can't have different durations for 1st watering, 2nd watering, 3rd...Etc? It seems you can water multiple times per day as long as they all have the same duration. Can this be changed to allow more customization of watering duration for different water times in same day?

    • @garyssprinklerrepair
      @garyssprinklerrepair  Год назад

      Unfortunately you’re correct, you can add a second or even third watering time per day but it will only repeat the 1st. watering time duration. Hope that helps, take a minute to Subscribe to our Channel we have more content added all the time.

    Thank You Gary Great Video
    While my system had already begun to water, I tried to change the watering time, but the run time would not reset, system set showed the change but the run remain at the old run time remain the same for all stations, ....have i change the time for new cycle only into the future ?

      Turn the timer off and retry, making sure not to have the same start times for each zone.

    Hi Gary, Great Video. Couple Questions.
    1) Why Does the 'Water Now' Timer Drop to 10 Minutes? It Looks Like Your Programming is Set for 20 Minutes. Is There a Way You Can Fix This, so Water Now, Matches Programmed 20 Minutes?
    2) If I Just Have One Zone, and I Want to Water 3 Times a Day. Can I Start One Process at 6AM, Another at 8AM, and Last One, at 8PM? I Was Thinking if I Set for Three Zones, the Second One, I could Tap until It Reached 2 Hrs, and 3rd option, I could Set for 12 Hrs.
    The Manual Doesn't get Much Into This. My Concern is the 12 Hr Would Reflect off 6AM Start Time, and Not the 12 Hrs From Second Start Time of 8AM. If the 12 Hrs Options, Reflected off the 8AM time, This Would Work Out Great.
    Thanks for Your Time!

      Yes, I know kinda an engineering flaw in my opinion. You can use the up down toggle under the 10 min to increase it after you start. Got d question btw.

    My settings are all ok but water is not coming out
    Tried to do water one zone now nothing happens

    • @garyssprinklerrepair
      @garyssprinklerrepair  Год назад

      Did you turn the dial to zone #1 then hit manual one zone? If nothing happens on any zone when you try that then, you either have a common wire disconnected (usually a white wire) or the water itself is off to the valves. That can be verified by turning the water on at the sprinkler valve. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Hi Gary, good video. Question... I just replaced (30) pop up sprinklers for a neighbor. Dug out each individual sprinkler and replaced with new..also changed a flower garden from pop up to drip system. Spent about $225 in parts. Trying to be fair on labor cost for that work...how is that normally calculated? (Took me 16 hrs) Thank you.

      The reason I asked is because if you’re licensed but not a Contractor you would only been able to charge $499. If you’re a Contractor you would be able to charge more. If you wanted to make at least $15 per hour you could charge him $500 total. Hope that helps.

    So how do you turn OFF the TWO TIMES per day if you don't want it to water multiple times?

    • @garyssprinklerrepair
      @garyssprinklerrepair  2 года назад +1

      Turn the dial to zone that’s watering twice (possibly all of them) hit the 2 times button and then use the toggle under the time to go to midnight. Repeat for each.
      Hope that helps, do t forget to Subscribe to our Channel.✌️

      @@garyssprinklerrepair Thanks. But that doesn't work. Once I push the second watering time once or thrice it just moves the hours to run again. Whether 1hr, 6hrs, 8hrs. from original time etc. There is no 12 noon shut off.

    • @garyssprinklerrepair

      Just selecting one time button for each zone, I believe eliminates the multiple starts, they only become active if you push the 2 times button
      repeatedly pushing button for addition hour choices).
      The newer model that has multiple manual buttons (lower left) is for the previous method.
