For all who have been struggling with the extra times per station, specifically to REMOVE the extra start times…
Here’s how you do it… starting with the second time, push the start time button, then drop the time shown to 12:00 AM… that’s the OFF position. Then do that for each of the extras start times for each station programmed for the extra times.
This is a very cool timer, but it’s tricky, and like all timers that have limitations… but…I struggled with getting the extra times off a couple of stations that were a new lawn..

How did you program the second time? I only saw am watering. What about pm watering?
How do I reset station that I had set on zone off setting.
How do you go from watering one sone twice per day to only once per day?
Go to the extra times for each zone, Second, Third, etc, and once there, back the time to 12:00 AM … that’s an OFF position
If you got the zone off on say number two, how do you get it back on or I can’t seem to undo undo it
Go to the extra times , second, third, etc, once there, back the time for each of these extra times to 12:00 AM this should show OFF!
How can i take second time off
That’s the problem… I haven’t figured that out… I set a zone for extra watering for a new lawn, and now I can’t get it to resume a normal schedule…. ☹️….. hmmm disappointing! Everything about this timer is easy to use, but when you can back out of a program… that’s not good… if I figure this out I’ll come back to this video and your comment and explain
Figured it out… when you’re in the second, third, etc times. Go to the time, and back it down to 12:00 am… that is an OFF position…👍

I am new at this programming business - thank you for the video, it helped me to set the time. Yeah! I have a question, do I need to set Zone 3 and 4 (which are shrubs) after the times for 1 and 2, or will it go automatically after 1 and 2 are done? Also, Zones 3 and 4, run only for 3 days a week and 1 X. Whereas, my lawn is 2 x a day every day. Or do I have to change zones 3 and 4 to start after the times for the lawn? Lawn goes on at 7 a.m., and 3 p.m. x 2 every day, and the Shrubs are programed for 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. - 1x a day, for Sun., Tues. and Thurs. Again, is this okay???? Thank you so much. I turn on All the time zone, but realized i don't want time zone 4 to turn off, how do we program turn off one of the time zone??? Please help
I have mine set to water for the “1st time” only, all other times are set to off. Yet I find my sprinklers running at 4 am and again at 8 am. I’ve tried everything I can to do a hard reset on my rain bird, but it always remembers my settings. Anyone know how to reset to manufacturer settings?!

Great Video! So, I Have the SST-900i. I Just Have One Zone. I'd Like to Do Three Times a Day. Once at 6am, Second at 8am, and Third at 8pm. I'm Thinking I Just Tap 2nd Water Time, Adjust Clock and Go. Tap 3rd Time, and Adjust the Clock for Third Time. There is a Thing with the 900i, Where it has Auto Sets for 1,2,4,6,8,12 hr increments. Not Sure I Can Manually Set time Wanted. I Was Thinking, if I Have to do the Auto Increments, Then i Can Set 2nd for two hours after 6 am, but the third, I Wonder if the 12 hr, will be 12hrs after second water time, or 12hrs after first auto time. i don't want water at 6pm...Sun is still up. Ideally the 12 hr after second time, of 8am, would work.

I accidentally turned off a zone during programming. How can I turn it back on?
Great video and help. So on my existing controller I set each zone for 60 minutes total watering time. The controller automatically divides this time by three so each zone gets three 20 minute times so that there is no run-off.
To have this new timer do the same thing it looks like I would set each zone for 20 minutes and then set run 1, run 2 and run 3 which would give a total run time of 60 minutes for each zone. Does this sound right?
No help for me. I want to manually turn all zones on at the duration I want. How do I do that?

Where is the reset button?
It’s on the bottom left side corner of the timer, it’s not a button sticking out it a wall hole that you would have to push in with a very small screwdriver
