Hello. My problem is the water will continue to leak from the top of the siphon valve cap. I replaced the siphon valve with a brand new balve cap from home Depot rainbird brand and slso tried ising 2 other used valve caps. What can you suggest? Thank you

Hey, I seem to have a leak in bathroom floor or in the wall. But, we when I check my meter. Neither the Triangle or Red Arm moving. I see the water on my floor but I have no clue as to where it is coming. I have noticed that my back yard holds water after a heavy storm. What I want to ask. Is it possible that the rain water finding a way up into my foundation? I had both of my toilets check out. Both are sealed. My next move inside was to see if the shower plumbing might be leaking. It is not a heavy leak but it does get a little wet. I also thought I noticed a brown stain in the toilet next to the leak. I was wondering if that is a sign. Or just the substance in the water. Anyway, I'll take any advice for my next step.

For the low-voltage wire conduit coming in on bottom right hole in the timer box, did you do anything special (grommet or whatever) to seal the conduit to the box to keep water and bugs out? Mine currently just has pvc pipe conduit ending close to box, but not even touching the box, and just seems kind of cheesy to leave it that way.

If you got the zone off on say number two, how do you get it back on or I can’t seem to undo undo it

Why did you cut the nipple between the regulator and valve? That was your first mistake. That’s what the coupler on the regulator is for. To separate it. Then get the regulator and valve with the same length. You would of saved yourself some work.😂

So far. I’ve looked at two RUclips sites vis a vis setting up my timer. Both sites have been useless. The basic setups that have been shown are simple and easy to program. Beyond that no one seems to know or care. And listening to this guy will put you to sleep.

@ the 5 minute and 30 sec mark I watched you apply the pvc glue on both sides of the coupling. However you only glued one side. How did you manage to fit the pipe after the glue set up?

I am new at this programming business - thank you for the video, it helped me to set the time. Yeah! I have a question, do I need to set Zone 3 and 4 (which are shrubs) after the times for 1 and 2, or will it go automatically after 1 and 2 are done? Also, Zones 3 and 4, run only for 3 days a week and 1 X. Whereas, my lawn is 2 x a day every day. Or do I have to change zones 3 and 4 to start after the times for the lawn? Lawn goes on at 7 a.m., and 3 p.m. x 2 every day, and the Shrubs are programed for 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. - 1x a day, for Sun., Tues. and Thurs. Again, is this okay???? Thank you so much. My tree is just as tall but on the water in Georgia and it has tons of branchs or froms as they call them. Like 50 dead ones at least and another 30 alive one at least. They are extraordinarily busy so to speak. Packed with both dead and alive foliage and look like a giant ball of plant. I am going to tie a rope to the tree at every heoght low, medium, and high but you really dont know how sketchy it is being up the entire length of the ladder unitl you get up there My legs start to tremble and my upper body just freezes up and I just hold onto the tree and ladder and cant move until. My knees shake ao violently I have to start walking back down. I do this three or four times and it takea abput a half hour of that until I finally remove the straps on ladder and tree then pull the ladder down slowly from the bottom and walk it down and back to the car so I can return it to Home Depot weather it is a rental or one I bought. I have managed to do this about 4 or 5 times over the last 23 uears while I have lived at my house on Tybee Island, Ga and it might be time to call in a professional with a lift or just a person used to being up 30 feet on a ladder which isnt the problem, the problem comes when you try and stand up or brace yourself up on the top part of the ladder. If the ladder is at an angle like 45 degrees to 75 degrees then you feel like you are just standing upright qith no real good way to hold onto the ladder with uour arms and cut at the same time. When you go more straight up and down say 70 to 85 degrees you have to hold with arms and hold the pole saw (mine is an electric cordless one) then cut which is just causing my body to freak out and it is super hard to even get the few right in front of me and cut while bracing for the inevitable moment the from comes crashing down on you stem first and stabs you in the arm or face or my personal favorite the neck where it slides down after strabbing into the side of your neck and then goes into your shirt and pivots flipping foward and then slicing your face with the sharp side part of the stem and then hopefully juat going down ontp the grpumd but even if they get stuck and hung up on the ladder or in the strap I cant grab them without the shaky one step at a time descent to that entails me unstrapping myself from two different locations of the ladder (loosely and not attached fully they will untie if ladder falls) and the tree for third and rope and main rope... Stay safe people and tell me the cheapest way to get these trimmed because I have one 30-35 foot tall palm and two 15 foot tall palms and i need to do all 3 even though i am a mastwr at the 15 foot ones and can do them. I need advice on the big monster i have and would also like to use the same equpiment i rent or buy to do my oak trees on the bottom of the canapy where they hang over and both are pretty tall, like 20 feet tall to the bottom part of the canopy and it needs raised and hasnt been done in 25 years and they are giant oak trees maybe 100 feet tall and 70 feet tall. Both i just need 30 feet up on and the entire things cut under there and the overhang on my driveway, bedroom addition, and air bnb I have and the gardens are suffering so bad from acorns then sticks then tassles then leaves then more acorns and so on and ao on ALL year long. And dont let me forget the 3 pines trees and pinecones and the stupid pine straw in the red mulch garden beds and atuck in the small trees and plants and pond and gutters and cars cowl induction area and air conditioning unit not to metion the junk that is tracked in the house daily. Please someone let me know the cheapest and best qay to tackle all this. Is it investing in certain tools and renting tools, a combination of and doing it myself? Is it making an insurance claim or something because one 100 foot tee is on the property fenceline, more on my side, and has a big rotten spot on the bottom of the trunk where it is kind of like knobbed in with a void and is getting soft in the area so it is kind of like hollow and round. Yhere is good strong growth around the rotten area but yhe center has definite rot and death that was probably old and it grew around the thing and never fully could make a solid round truck just like a half round. Sectionor maybe 66 percent i would say is good and the other half moon sized abnormality is 33 percent. But it is surrounded by 600k dollar condos and 950k dollar homes and the cheapest being 400k dollar small condos. If the tree is half and half on the property line whose tree is it? It is exact. And what if they dont qant to pay 50 percent or agree that it is nessesart and they just say they dont want to pitch in the 50 percent cost and ot is unsafe? I am pretty handy and I could probably use climbing rope and harness correctly if I could get over the fear of heights and stop shaking so much. How much is a removal of a huge oak tree in the middle of 4 homes with no room for wrror of anything? 3k to 5k dollars 8 would guess? And do you trim the Oak trees normally or do you just trim them if they are getting in the way of electrical lines and hitting the cars in the driveway and hanging onto thw cars im driveway? First things forst I am going to trum the two small palm trees and get everything up to 12 feet or 15 feet on the oak tree overhanging driveway and get as much as i can of the other 3 random oak trees and random other unknown tree in the property and then focus on qhat to do qith the big palm tree and the big oak tree that has the rotten area in the tree trunk second. Tha5 is if I even need or can do anything with the bad oak tree. Do most people just let live oaks grow and just docus on the canopy that is hitting the ground and cars if need be?

We have been getting notices our water bill has increased 500%. We check and the meter does not spin with the water off, house, front or back. If the meter is not spinning, can we still have a leak?
