For those too lazy to look. It's $1,570 for the controller (up to 17 heads) and $278 per head. Plus wiring and plumbing. For a single head system youre looking at around $2,000
My local professional sprinkler company quoted me $2700 for the whole job including all lines, timer etc. I’d gladly pay $700 more than you did to save my time and effort 😂
Cool product...but just did my house schematic and price of $3995!?!? Ouch!!! As someone that worked summers in landscaping/irrigation many years ago, I think the the old PVC Sched 40 with traditional heads is going to be hard to beat. I can see how this would be nice for well-defined yard areas without lots of obstructions, no sidewalks to contend with, no narrow grass strips down the side of your house, etc. But if you have all of that (like I unfortunately do!), you need a whole dedicated head to get around all of those obstacles. I like the idea just not the bottom line cost for folks in the DIY space. Thanks for the review. --Matt
Bro I just came back from 8months deployment today (U.S Navy) and I bought this today because of you, Thank you for what you do and keep up the good work 👍 Miss You, Ryan Knorr, Ron Henry, YardBrah my dude, Lawcology, budgetLawn, TheLawnTools and Neighbors Dominator 👍
First ever ALWAYS cost the most. With demand, the next iterations will drastically lower the prices I believe. I do appreciate the info regardless, thank you. 😊
You can probably do a traditional pop up head system with controller for about $500 or less If you pay someone like a handyman to dig your trenches maybe $1000 to $1500 This sounds way expensive
To make best use of the approx 30ft throw they need to be buried in the middle of the yard. If you did it your way you might need to buy double the heads and run twice the amount of lines. Kinda defeats the purpose of this system when you think about it.
Only works if you can reach all parts of your garden with a single line driving a single zone running the edge of your slab. To reach distant beds will always require multiple zones due to water pressure limits and hence digging
Excited to see the fall install and how much work it is to avoid the freeze zone. Question, can't you just blow out the piping in the winter to winterize it?
@@chicuacemazatl3185 follow the link in the description. You’ll put your address in and you can map your lawn out to see how many heads you need for the area you want it.
There is a big promo right now going on. Did you see the Memorial Day sale. I think you still add code: Rootedlawnco in promo section too. But I believe it’s up to 1k off
These are so expensive and not almost the same labor as installing traditional sprinklers. Very cool but let’s call it what it is, luxury lawn watering 😂
Yes. You generally run any irrigation in early am before it last too windy during mid day. During the winter, you blow the line out (see other video) to prevent damage.
This actually sucks. We have installed two and we are there every week to replace a head. When calling there IT department they just say to replace it. Totally suck
Not my product. Not “selling” anything. But I’m showing how you can use a super innovative smart sprinkler system without digging it. Can I make an affiliate income? Yes. That’s disclosed. I won’t promote something I don’t stand behind. Thanks for watching. Did you like the system?
WHAT? Three grand for a do it yourself iffigation system, no way. I can have someone come in and do the real deal for about that same price. Not a good deal.
If I used bots, I think my views would be higher 😂 my main subs are from my shorts. And yeah, the audio got jacked during transfer unfortunately, just listen without headphones. Thanks for watching!
4-10k. Bwahahha. No ty. There is no ROI on this thing. Its cool that is for sure but the cost is astronomical and if you hire someone to install it that will add few more grand.
@vickymorgan8210 Yes, I totally agree with you. I could get another system for 200-300$ and install it. But thanks for the video. I know now something like this is available in the market. If I became rich, then for sure I would purchase it 😀.

That’s ASTRONOMICAL! That would NEVER work out financially in the long run.
I'll wait for the Rain Bird or Hunter iteration.
😄 Nope
I was impressed until I saw the 2K plus+ price tag.
2 grand when I can grab my hose not worth it
Thanks for saving me time on the video 😂
Might aswell just get a regular system 😂

Thank you for your service!!
Ya thanks
DAMN
Cool but too expensive. Maybe at $250.
Dig a few trenches. Heads and pvc are cheap. The novelty will quickly wear off.
The digless temporarily freezeprone irrigation system is super accurate.
First ever ALWAYS cost the most. With demand, the next iterations will drastically lower the prices I believe. I do appreciate the info regardless, thank you. 😊
you probably saved me thousands of dollars. I am going to try this one for sure. Thanks!
I made something similar. But didn’t cost anywhere near 5k they want for a 9 sprinkler system.
Biggest question, how long do the heads last? Doubting you can answer that. Ease of use?

Can you do a video on the DU, distribution uniformity ?

cost prohibitive right now, and if app loses support or co goes out of business then you stuck with a very expensive mistake.
This is fantastic. I’m impressed and well done showing how it works.
You’re fantastic

My thoughts exactly.
Thanks! Yeah I’ll be posting here and my IG all about the install. You could blow them out for sure. But I will be putting them in the ground.
@@RootedLawnCo How much does it cost and where can I buy it?

@@RootedLawnCo ok thanks!!!!
It would of been helpful if you would of shown how to supply the system.
I tapped into my main water line. So my pex line, put a T in it, with a stop valve, then ran it outside to the backflow preventer etc.
You said you have a 3/4" line coming off your main water. You then connected a 1" line to it? does that really increase the pressure?
Irrigreen specs say they want the system on a 1” line. But yeah, my main line is only 3/4” so I’m not too sure if it changes the pressure.
"no-dig irrigation system"
"ok maybe there's a little digging involved"
This is RUclips.

No digging meaning I’m not trenching in the lawn. You get what I was putting down.
Yikes, almost $4K for my lawn, and no free head with the promo code? 🤔

anyone else only getting left channel audio on this video?
Yeah… my bad. Had an issue when transferring the file. Just don’t listen with headphones and you’re golden 😅
Is this system works well in cold weather (windy City) in Chicago?
Yes. You generally run any irrigation in early am before it last too windy during mid day. During the winter, you blow the line out (see other video) to prevent damage.
Landscaping for NERDS OR TECH GEEKS 😅
audio is mono
For that price I will pay the neighborhood kid to water my lawn
Thank you 🙏 great 👍 system 👍

for a no digging system you really look like an idiot if you start with digging :)
but i guess they are paying well so its worth
Way too much even at 1500!
3000 - 4000$ plus tax no thank you :D
Yup, gonna be a deal breaker for too many DIY-ers! At that price, might as well pay for a professional to install the old PVC method!

The price is down right stupid. No thank you do it the right way not this way.
Not smart at all. Just a lazy way..Jeezzz
Sounds like $1k each head minus the labor to hire someone to dig trench for your yard
