I absolutely love this sprinkler, bought two of them last when I laid bermuda sod down last year. I also got the dual nozzle timer so I can hook them both up and set different timings for different zones of my yard. Works great, I set it and forget it.

I've seen two review on this one. I ended up buying it. The issue I see is that it seems to leak quite a bit from the bottom end.

I’ve had issues with my H20-Six getting hung up in one area. I just simply cleaned the stagnant water out it, and it’s worked fine. Great quality video!! 👍
These are great. Mine is just starting to stick. How'd you clean it?
@@Skunkhammer2 Took them off the hose and let the water drain out of them. You may have to shake the hose from time to time as well, but other than that, they are great!
I just came across the Orbit sprinkler the other day and love it too! I was previously using the impact sprinkler head type and enjoy the sound it makes, but I would always get wet fine tuning the adjustments. Always! The Orbit head is easy to adjust and its multiple settings are a huge advantage over the impact sprinkler. Eventually I'll Daisy chain two Orbits together and keep the impact sprinkler to hear the sound it makes if hanging out in the back yard. 😁
I love that sound too. I find myself hanging out in the yard everytime it's on. Lol

I found that sprinkler and it really is great. In clay soil that spike is worthless because it breaks.
I just bought the Orbit Tripod and unless I push the pink up, it doesn't move side to side but stays in one position. So, I'll probably return it and buy one of these smaller models which seems to oscillate much better.
I water 1 in per day and have a really deep root system, almost 5 inches deep. My lawn is also the envy of the neighborhood as all the other lawns went dormant and mine is a dark green. No issues with fungus either 🤗
red, you are an extreme outlier. On the lawn forums people who water every day almost always write in asking whey they have fungal diseases. You may have a soil with much less clay and more sand/gravel than the average person.
@@dchall8 they key is amount and when to eater. As I stated I water 1 inch a day, everyday around 8am. I was simply sharing my own experience that works for my lawn. I am not sure why you're throwing shade on my comment
What type of soil do you have?
I tend to only use the VERT position and vary it with top cap.

I like that you can turn it off at spinker head to move. Time to invest in some quick connects for you hose Buddy!
I’m jealous. Just laid sod and have like 10 of these. My water pressure must be really low compared to yours. These sprinklers just laugh at me and not only does the spray only go about 10 ft these stop turning because lack of pressure I’m assuming. I’m having to still try and manually spray all my sod to protect my investment.

Mr Budget Lawn channel. Right up your ally - this sprinkler is occasionally on sale for $9.00 at menards. Sometimes coinciding with their 15% rebate so thats about $8 bucks with your local sales tax usually!
I can not properly set the tabs at the bottom to set the spray field; I end up spraying my house and not the lawn. Help!
Above ground sprinklers have come a long way over the years. Great alternative for lawn watering.
If your impact sprinkler sticks try a Rainbird Maxipaw they are inexpensive and come with extra nozzles and very good instructions.

Hi Chris, so I just bought these, Im going to have 4 sprinklers on a two zone timer. The last thing you said was water 1 inch 1 time a week or 1/2 inch twice a week...Im in Pensacola Florida, would that amount be adequate for me as well?
I agree with you. I tried 2 Melnor's and one Orbit metal oscillator and they all 3 ended up sticking in one position. Two Melnor I got from Amazon and Orbit I got a Lowes. Returned all of 'em. Now I will try this one final one. I am so sick of these damned things. Hope this one does not stick.

@@ColdPlungeCam This one is working fabulously, low water pressure, high water pressure (meaning how far I have the faucet turned on). Everything about it is plastic, (except the legs) but I am gentle with things like this, so hopefully will hold up. I am not certain we could repair the thing or even get any parts. Hope this helps. (I am using again this season, again).

I have purchased one. In 2022. It hasn't rotated for the second spray. It won't click back. I live it ,if only it would work correctly.

The tripod impact type need higher pressure 40psi ish. Otherwise they dont hit swinger hard enough

That’s what I came here to find out. I’ve used this above ground sprinkler for a few years now. I have four set up on timed, zoned controls so that I am able to set up and “forget it”. I do however, take it down in the winter. But this spring, I’m going to try to connect them together.

I have tried the adjustments show and the units still only go part way of the tabs and stop. flicking the head with my finger may or maynot help. However if they do start again, they come back part way and stop again.
Using that sprinkler, approximately how long does it take to get 1" of water?
Depending on the sprinkler, I was getting to 1/2" in about 40 min. So I would probably do 2 waters a week to get to the 1" he recommends.

Mine only oscillates once then stops
I just got this sprinkler and I may be overlooking something, but with mine the hose attaches under the point where the water sprays out, which makes adjusting it on the fly while it is running basically impossible. I can't determine how to re-orient things so it resembles the setup in this video., with the hose attaching behind the direction of spray.
Is that leaking really bad?

Mine stopped rotating as well but it was because water pressure was not high enough.

These are the best you can get and its sad because theyre terrible. The 'distance' settings do NOTHING.

i had one for less then 6 months and it stopped working on its own.. these things are garbage
5:00 You might want to stop giving advice in this area. The necessity of fertilizing depends entirely of the health of the soil. Watering and cutting alone ARE NOT the only answer. Without a doubt a soil test should be performed on any yard to at least ensure balance of macro and pH. ESPECIALLY if you water with hard water or highly chlorinated water.
Sorry but this sprinkler is a piece of junk! It leaks on the base after first use and all the patterns are the same setting.
