This bonnet can be made in 4 sizes from newborn to 1 - 3 years. This tutorial follows the pattern for size 1 - 3 years. Detailed instructions for all sizes are included in the written pattern.
For this bonnet you will need a 4mm crochet hook and DK weight yarn. I used Drops Cotton Merino yarn.

Hello, Wooly hands! 😄 Really grateful to God to have found your channel. Its a pity that crochet creations aren't a flare in my country Nigeria but I do it all the same because your teachings are irresistible. I look at the shell stitch bolero I made and have a big and proud smile on my face. Please could you kindly tutor on how to crochet straight fitted skirts for women? I honestly would prefer your teaching to any other channel. Thank you so much.

Made this lovely bonnet but turned out it's for 1-2 I mean a girl on the way doesn't want to be covered by bonnet, so ripped back and started again for 0-3 pixie. It looks 😍.

I have crochet several bonnets without any problems using other patterns you've shared. The Audrey bonnet video is an exception. I followed your instructions for the 1-3 year old pattern and the bonnet is way too large, more for an adult size. I used a 4 mm hook and DK yarn as instructed. Anyone else have the same problem?

Just finished 🎉 This was my first crochet project after practicing single and double stitch so I’m really proud of myself.
Had a few problems though. I was using a different yarn, and I think it messed me up. I had to modify round 14 by adding a chain 1 after each 3 double crochets. With the original pattern without any chains, it was too tight to wear and bunched my yarn. Of course this threw off my pattern a little bit I was able to finish it off.
If I used the same yarn she had, do you think this would fix this problem? The single stitch in the pattern was wear it was tight, after the 3 double stitch bunches shortened the number of stitches dramatically. Could it be that my single stitches were too tight?
Trying to look for answers and wanting to try this project again to get it perfect!

I normally enjoy making all your bonnets but this tutorial and the written pattern is incorrect at round 14. Creating the 3dc together without any chains thereafter drastically reduces the stitches and renders the bonnet tight and unwearable. I had to adapt round 14 to keep the original number of stitches from row 13 in order for the bonnet to work.

The written pattern is completely different to the video at round 11. It doesn’t match up to create the neck space. Absolutely gutted as I purchased the pattern for my new little business
