  • This tutorial will show you how to crochet an easy pixie bonnet / hat. This tutorial is suitable for beginners.
This bonnet can be made to any size.
You can use any size crochet hook and complimentary yarn that you like. For my bonnet I used a 4mm crochet hook and DK weight yarn. I used Drops Merino Extra Fine yarn.

will the tutorial you are following work more for a doll head? i am learning how to make doll sized bonnets for porcelin and vinyl dolls and i was wondering since you are following a smaller stitch method.
