- This tutorial will show you how to crochet an easy pixie bonnet / hat. This tutorial is suitable for beginners.
This bonnet can be made to any size.
You can use any size crochet hook and complimentary yarn that you like. For my bonnet I used a 4mm crochet hook and DK weight yarn. I used Drops Merino Extra Fine yarn.

Chain 54 for newborn

round two: 7:56 (cluster, double crochet alternating in the double crochet stitch)
round three: 14:36 (chain 2 double crochet into double crochet, chain 2 into the chain three space)
round four: 18:04 (cluster, double crochet alternating in the double crochet stitch)
round five: 22:57 (chain 2 double crochet into double crochet, chain 2 into the chain three space)
As always, you did a wonderful job explaining and showing the stitches. I have the yarn, so I'm ready to start this bonnet.

You can slow down the video. Subtitles help too
I slowed it to 75x and added subtitles and it was perfect. This is the perfect video very grateful for it.
You could try pausing the video while your working on a stitch.
