In the magic ring are you doing a treble or a double crochet? It looks like just a double
I think she is doing an actual American double crochet,but in European terms it's known as a treble.
A delightful video and beautiful pattern! After watching, I am assuming you are using U.K. terms where a double is a single in US terms, a treble is a double in US terms, etc. Can't wait to watch your other videos!
Hi. I’ve made the bonnet. I’m not sure if it measures up right though. I have 3” from back to front. And my circle at the back is 5”. Is this right? Thanks. 😊

Uk treble is a US double…

I’m making this bonnet for an Easter bonnet for my grand child. I’m using cotton tread. I love how it looks already. I was so foolish earlier I missed the two chain skip. But I listen again and I’m so pleased. I was wondering. What stitch would complement this stitch so 8 could add a ribbon through the stitches as an addition?
You could try adding ch2 sk2 dc for the eyelet row 😘

These are no trebles? You woud have to yarn over twice, but you out yarn over only once....

Uhm, yeah those are called DOUBLE crochets. A treble crochet (or triple crochet) is when you yarn over twice, not once.
