Amazing throat singing by Kaigal-ool Khovalyg from Huun Huur Tu group. This is kargyraa style of throat singing. The same style we have in tuvan throat singing, mongolian throat singing, altai throat singing.

I've heard lots of throat singing. This video really does show some amazing throat singing. Excellent video.
This is Kaigal-ool Khovalyg, the pillar of Kargyraa which is this specific throat singing. He is the only true master of kargyraa and of course khoomie and sigyirt. Huun Huur Tu just the best khoomie band ever created!
Our Inupiaq Eskimo Elders sing this way. Above arctic circle Alaska. Much respect.

This was so amazing. It's hard to fathom how this sound is accomplished. But man it's beautiful and peculiar all in the same moment.
The basics of it are actually way easier than you think! After that it's just a matter of practice, and you can do it at any time.
@@liammcclish4291 it’s really hot especially depending if you split voice into two notes if you’re even able to and what pitches you go for and if try new stuff when not getting trained by a proper authenticated descendent you can do permanent damage to all of your throat and chords and be lucky to speak especially 40’s +

Huun Huur Tu is so amazing! One of my top bands for sure. Radik Tulush's sygyt is on another level!
The first time I heard throat singing was 1993, and I had just bought två CDs with Huun-huur-tu. Sitting in Sweden and remember past lives as a mongolian old man and one life as an Altaian Princess, Shaman and storyteller came as a chock to me. But since then much more memories have come to me. Its amazing. 🐎❤️

I've been aware of Tuvan throat singing for about 10 years now, introduced through Huun Huur Tu. Kaigal-ool Khovalg is an amazingly mastered practitioner of the art. You can hear his normal singing voice and then he shifts into a variety of tones. And the animal sounds from Orphan's Lament, too.

KUULAR, throat singing were common in Altai Republic, Khakhassia, Kalmykia, Buryatia, Tuva, Mongolia and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

There are 4 or 5 types of Tuvans in three Asian Countries, the Tozhu Tuvans & the Dukha are Endangered Languaged Reindeer herders, the Chinese Tuvans are also found in Xinjiang Province in China, the Endangered Khovd & Tsengel Tuvans are also in Khovd & Bayan-Ulgii, Mongolia are became Livestock Shepherds, Buddhist & Shamanistic People & does not have any recognition & speak more submitive language but not like Mongolian & even Tsengel Tuvan School Children learn Mongolian & English, the most famous of all & very iconic that You are & the Alash or many members of your own kind, are the Western or the Common Tuvans lived what is now the Altai Republic & your home state Country is what it also "Tuva Republic" in Southern Siberia.
