I remember singing this in church as a child. It’s still my favorite 60 years later.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death still He leads me on... glory to God.

He Leadeth me so i live my precious life no longer on my own will and dreams and desire but by the Almighty God's great plan each day since i am now a bed ridden from the year 2012 due to spinal cord injury that was caused by a gunshot in my back. After my operation and removing the foreign bullet object in my T4 spine I can no longer walk and now half body paralyze from T3 spinal back bone and breast in front down to the sole of my feet. I need somebody to always cary me from bed to chairs and wheel chair and i feel pain everyday. I only maintain to neutralize the pain by using Tramador as pain reliever and sometimes anti-bacterial for my bedsore and UTI infection and some times Paracetamol and biogesic for head aches.

Eden's flowers or bowers? I will be a bower before the Lord and bloom like a flower? Two or more poetic ideas made the songwriter choose "bowers." The easiest one to recognize is the alliteration when two or more words that start with the same sound are used repeatedly in a phrase or a sentence. (bowers bloom) A bower is a place sheltered by branches where flowers bloom and grow well. The poet is using the idea of the whole bower being full of blooms and saying that the bower as a whole is blooming. Sorry to be so fastidious.🙂 Eden's flowers bloom is just fine if we don't mind doing without the alliteration. The word "fraught" is a good clue to look for unusual and old-fashioned poetic ideas.😇

HISTORY OF ABRAHAM'S FAMILY.
FAMILY
(Please open the Holy Bible and read the undermentioned Biblical verses 'real time' to understand this write up better).
The story of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Hagar, and Ishmael is a parable to teach us something ( Rom 15:4)
1. Abraham's heir represents God's heir.
Abraham is likened with God the Father in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man.
(Luke 16:19-30)
Keeping this in mind, let's read about real Abram (God named him Abraham only after Isaac's birth) and his heir.
2. Three candidates.
Since he and his wife were childless, Abram decided to adopt a son,
Eliezer, the slave. But God rejected him because he was not from Abram's body.
(Ge 15:2-4)
At this, jis wife Sara asked her slave woman Hagar to go to Abram and Ishmael was born
( Ge 16:15-16)
But God rejected him as well, because although he was from Abram's (a free man's ) body, his mother was not a free woman but a slave and God promised Abram that his wife Sarah (a free woman) will bear him a son, Isaac who'll inherit his estate.
(Ge 17:18-19)
3. Why Isaac was chosen over others?
Because he was child of a free mother Sarah.(Gal 4:30).
4. The inheritors of God's estate, Heaven.
We all are God the Father's children,
(Matt 6:9). who's FREE from sins.
But are we Children of a Mother who's FREE from sins?
Yes, we are.
Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
And
Gal 4:28 Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise.
5. Unless we accept " Our Mother " God, we can never inherit the kingdom of heaven.
But what does Scripture say?
Gal 4:30-31 "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.” Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman."
