A mesmerizing story but not necessarily a good one - Most religions teach that people are not supposed to marry their siblings!, nor forget their families, nor parents treat their kids abusively! I was praying to the Lord to help me work on practicing my piano more. I have been quite sick lately and so weak, even my hands and fingers are weak. So I thought, “I will pray for God to help me with this.” And I stumbled upon this video just now and it’s so inspiring. I have been falling into the habit of watching television in the evenings and something was telling me I could use that time in the evenings to practice. This story had so many answers for me. The practicing that they did at night. The love of the beautiful melodies. I feel so happy when I play a song well and it gives me a feeling of accomplishment, it’s truly therapeutic. Roberto marryin* his daughter after he and his sister were adop5ed is no5 a heartwarming way of coming* full circle. It is incest.. ((not a heretwqrming soul story!) if the music teacher had helped Roberto and Felicity to find a good home and not adopted them, just told him about his mother with whom he had been enamored… and allowed the children to find a good and not abusive home, and just played music with then, fed them looked in on how they are doing….. then if his daughter and Roberto enjoyed their common interests and ended up finding love and getting , married (to each other if they weren’t siblings, or anyone else otherwise) that might have been something that made sense to celebrate - so they all could have family, and their own siblings, and the hope of a good future. If we heard the first of the two younger generation finding love, and we hear and care about the sisters, not just about a man’s fantasy of reenacting his lost love but respect for families that would have been a much happier story!
Life is hard but can be softened with love, affection and attention. So happy for Roberto and Cecilia! The kindness of Senor Aguilera made all the difference.
