This is just my two cents but the reason I think Shaq is overlooked by a lot of people is because he wasn’t a perimeter/wing player. I think people favor guards and people who can play away from the basket. That’s why a lot of people have Michael Lebron and Kobe as the three all time greats as if Shaq, Kareem and Duncan haven’t made a case for themselves. After Michael Jordan people just favor guards and forwards. My two cents

Everything he said is spot on. NOBODY then and nobody now had a chance vs shaq 1vs1. He’d get triple teamed and all 3 defenders would be murdered. Believe me when I say he would do the same against any 3 centers today - likely at the same time. In 35 years of watching the nba he’s the only player I remember that if he got the ball within 6-8 feet of the rim just go ahead and put 2pts on the scoreboard before he started his dribble. Embid, joker, Giannis all would’ve got the same treatment vs shaq. Even more than Jordan and bron he was simply unstoppable.

(Worth Mentioning) , and all that stuff he "didnt mention" was mentioned immediately after the boast of "not mentioning". I dont think he would have been effective gaurding Embiid, unless my bias against him blocked a impressive perimeter defense from my memory of the time. Of course Embiid would of been thrown around while allowing 40 points on the other end. That being said Broussard was speakin the truth and I cant believe he actually had to say any of it to anyone. lol

This is crazy! People needed a video to know how great Shaq was? Man, how far have we fallen? I guess when you have people thinking MJ was the greatest college player ever.....

@Darryl Davis You assume too much. Based on their respective COLLEGE careers, Kareem gets the nod in a draft. You are trying to use your knowledge of their NBA careers as a basis for your argument, which makes no sense. Plus, last time I looked, Kareem's NBA career wasn't too shabby.

Hakeem was the best. Footwork. Inside Game. Jumpers. Defense. And he didn't have a superstar the level of Kobe or Dwayne Wade.
