- After long last, Sarge finally gets his hands on the most powerful Pulsar yet - The N250! With similar power and healthier dose of torque, does it have what it takes to take the fight to the recently launched Pulsar NS200 and the likes of the TVS RTR 2004v, the Yamaha FZ25 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250. Sarge hops on to find out.

Very underated indeed
It seems similar to the Fz25, a nice grunty single with amazing low and mid range.
It was my first bike. I used to envy my friends on the ns200 with their top end but slowly I started to enjoy and appreciate the power delivery.
With the Fz, I didn't need to downshift for traffic or speed breakers. The engine would just chug along. It was very satisfying. It was also decent on the highways 100 -110 all day.
The N250 seems like a more powerful version of the Fz25. I would love to get it as a secondary bike. A torquey bike to compliment the rev happy KTM in the garage.
Yes this would make for a good addition
The Pulsar-Karizma battle was legendary during the good ol days. With the Karizma XMR being relaunched, I think it's gonna be exciting all over again. Great review ❤

For real 😮
Its been 11 months. Dissapointed 😂 ??
There was a time when every reviewer was shooting at this beautiful loc "Lavasa" 😍
Good to see u still enjoy reviewing there...
250 cc, close to 25 bhp, fresh looks, all led setup, and decent mileage. All that in good price range. Its a perfect bike, for those who want to ride it for practical use. Its really great watching you giving your insights on bikes.
Onething I find very difficult to get over is how futuristic this bike looks. Such a head turner.
Needless to mention how iconic "Sarge and Lavasa" duo is, no comments :P
What a show... Waiting for the next one :)

One thing in this bike surprised me is it's refinement, I never expected such a smooth engine from Bajaj and as usual your review is excellent.

So as a tourer, N250 will be better than the N200. Was waiting for this review, Sarge, and you did not disappoint at all. Any heating issues in traffic? I feel Bajaj could have given the bluetooth connectivity at this level. Still, features is one thing, the motorcycle for its intended function is another thing.
This is undoubtedly a better bet for touring compared to the NS. Didn't have any heating issues. Bluetooth a miss from bajaj
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial your replies are also superfast, like your riding :) Thanks Sarge.
On spot review. First time visited your channel and liked it.
It would've been an even better tourer if it had a 6th gear. Would cruise 100 on highway at 5k rpm
How does it stand against the fz25 in terms of refinement, performance, build quality and ride and handling?
At par if not better
At 25 yrs of age, I own this as my first bike. So far it's been a great motorcycle.
the only thing I can complaint about is, the front end feels unstable above 110km/hr highway cruising.
That's the price you pay with a softer setup
Try using 20W fork oil and adjust the rear preload according to your weight it will help.
IFKR, i bought this a couple of months back and i already regret buying this. The panels are shaking, i almost died yesterday as i was going 120 and it wobbled so bad. I mean if you want city use, this is fantastic. But for youngsters, go for the ns
@@vishnuprabhu6659 wanna sell it?
@@vishnuprabhu6659 Eh it's not at all the way you're telling it. Rather I've found the build quality to be extremely solid. Yours might be a faulty piece. Always try to check tyre pressure before top speed attempts. At top speeds scoot back on the seat and lean all the way infront on the tank. This way you'll put some weight on the handle bar. I've pulled it till 147 but never felt like going out of control. Checking tyre pressure is a must. I maintain 28 for front and 35 for rear.
Much awaited review, thank you! Are there vibes when cruising at120 kph? I am tempted to swap my AS200 for the N250 but I feel the N250 lacks the excitement of the previous gen Pulsars.
No vibes at 120 in 5th gear

Amazing as always, sarge. Thank you. How does it compare to Gixer 250 for daily city office up-downs and occasional highway touring? Also, you like f or n250. I like this much better, imho.
I think this has a small edge over the Gixxer in terms of refinement and is more comfortable in terms of space and suspension setup. The Gixxer handles better. I prefer the N250 over the F
@Sagar Sheldekar Official Thank you for the reply. Also, my overthinking brain is like if the n250 would come in a dashing white and black paint scheme, kinda similar to ns200. I would buy it right now. Hehe.
Recently I test drove both NS and N back to back on both city and a short highway run
NS did much much better in the initial pull and N had good torque feel though not that raw pull from NS. I think for commuting also the NS was more flickable after the USD forks. Would you still recommend the N?
I am already 90 percent inclined to NS after the test drive as I felt NS to be more powerful on outright acceleration, more nimble, and less stressed at high speeds. Heard from my friends that the NS's engine is KTM derived and has liquid cooling and may last longer.
Whats your advice for my current scenario, should I go with NS or consider taking N?
somebody reply this comment with the best answer
Just want to get the job done. Go for N250.
Just want to get the job done and a little bit raw fun. Go for NS200.
Which is a better bike in terms of performance, handling and braking - Gixxer 250 or N250 if price is not a consideration?
I don't think that's a fair comparison bro. Gixxer's light weight and has way more advanced and capable engine. Performance and handling are way better in gixxer and braking's probably the same on both bikes. Fully digital console on the gixxer and 2023 models has bluetooth as well, if you are into that stuff.
The Gixxer is better in that aspect but the N250 has a slightly smoother engine

Hi Sarge, love your review. Planning to buy the bike but only thing holding me back is the stability/wobble issue at high speed 120ish. People saying it wobbles really bad and regret purchasing it could you please clarify if such issue and is it will most naked bikes in this price point or can this be fixed with reducing preload in rear and tightening front suspension
I didn't face that issue during the test
Does New bajaj N250 2024 has heating issue?
Thanks Sarge...am confused between f250 n gixxer sf 250...is the added price worth it?
I think the F250 is a good alternative to the sf without losing out on much
Please suggest which 1 to buy

N250
Irmao, what is the top speed you could achieve on a flat highway at 6K RPM in top gear. Also, between this and the other 250 CC single cylinder bikes available, what would you choose?
That's a tough cookie. Got to ride them back to back. But if you are looking for a comfortable and easy to ride naked, this is a good option
will cruise at 110-105ish but the front end will not give you much confidence
Taillights look really cool and the overall looks of the bike are also very smashing. The only gripe which i feel is the thin rear tyre, could’ve been 140 section.
Doesn't need it and that will impact performance and mileage
I have same bike bought two weeks ago.. I changed rear tyre to 140 section. Ceat zoom tyre.. Believe me bike is giving amazing confidence in cornerings now.. With no change in power and milaige
@@sundeshkumari7568ceat zoom is a crappy tyre😂😂
@@axel3895 i have been using ceat zoom x3 120/80 section tyre on my old pulsar. no drop in mileage. amazing breaking performance, good grip during corners. never felt that even for a sec that i am losing grip. proof of that is there was an incident where i scraped my footpeg during corners without having the feel that the bike is losing traction

This bike lives up to the hype/expectations💯🏍😎
It's first of all a head turner for sure, the light output from it's focus lamp is one of the BEST lights I've ever seen/experienced💯
On my recent early morning ride(at 0330 hrs) this light proved to be one extra support to a safe ride. The spread of this light literally lights up the entire street (wide and straight)
Not to mention, you'll see an economy of ~42 to 46 kms per litre fuel, on the highways...
The breaks are just fine (the ABS is pretty good) but a skilled rider will know how to engine brake by blip/rev matching😎💯✨💫
The exhaust note is one of the BEST I've heard...

This is the most Beautiful Pulsar and Powerful ever made by Bajaj . Also some Crapheads say that this looks like a copy of YAMAHA MT-15 (Empty -15 😂) which is nothing on front of this Powerful beast . Also it's design is derived from 220F and classic Pulsars . And I must clear some of you that Bajaj is still in collaboration with Kawasaki in Latin American countries and in Phillipines this very N250 is launched recently a month ago as KAWASAKI PULSAR N250 and NS200 is sold as Rouser NS200 , so do not even think of questioning it's quality . One of the main things I m concerned with is, the NS200 has a 4v engine... And this is a 2v, how much difference does that make? And if this is "only" for the urban environment, does it not make sense for users to go for slightly more economical options rather than go for a 2v-"250cc"?
Won't be a problem
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial I am confused now. As per my knowledge, 4valved engines have much better fueling & are preferred for performance oriented machines. Moreover bikes equipped with 4v engines have a much better top end compared to 2v bikes. Can u pls briefly explain in just a few lines how that won't be a problem for a "250cc" bike? A "250cc" bike which by our Indian perspective clearly falls into the performance category & not just daily commute or city rides.
Anyone please tell there are any missing issues in this bike...?

Bajaj could have updated the pulsar line-up by giving the n250's engine to the pulsar 220 and n250's look to the NS line-up as an update and the Pulsar lineup would have been much much simpler. Agree or not?
I do agree with you, my Pulsar 125 Neon single seat's gearbox does sometime doesn't slot that well occasionally and I always fight for getting into Neutral. Just a blip of a throttle and then it slots.

I love they've still kept the analogue tachometer but why did they lift the headlight design straight from the MTs? The tail section is gorgeous though.
This channel shows the mindset of Indian audience and the consumers as well. Sarge, when you published the 2021 RTR 200 review, I was so impressed by it , i bought it right away. I rode if for 10k , did countless long rides. It was just perfect. It got stolen unfortunately. So i was looking for a new one, I almost bought the N250, and now that I’ve seen your review if it was published 1 month earlier, I probably would have bought it but then, i was so in love with my RTR, I again chose it. Im happy with my decision. Its a very good machine, a very value for money machine. But if this video had came a bit early, who knows how the things would have turned out. Haha, anyway, an excellent review once again.

Riding my N250 for the past 5k kilometres, I felt like this is a no nonsense bike with all the essentials. Enjoying every bit of this beauty.
Really enjoy the torquey nature of the engine. Have seen lot's of people comparing it to the NS and telling how inferior of a product the N is. Fact is, the N is the cheapest of the 250s, is a lot more fuel efficient than others in this segment(I can easily extract about 37 to 40 from it, tank to tank) is a lot more refined than the NS and the domimar 250, while still maintaining the torquey nature that comes with a higher displacement. On the top end front I've achieved 147 with only 5 gears which is still comparable to the NS😂. Though the chassis on the NS feel better on higher speeds, the N shines in the city with the shorter wheelbase plush suspension.
Another thing to note is that the headlamp in this bike is amazing. Like literally you see the front with so much clarity in the night. I've ridden in highways with full confidence without requiring additional fog lamps.
What I felt is when my chain is maintained properly and when I top up with speed from bharat petroleum or xp95 from indian oil, the vibrations are greatly reduced and it becomes a true mile muncher for the highway. As you said 110 to 120 speeds are a breeze for this bike. No heating issues either. Have ridden it to office in this 43 degree heat wave from last week here in West Bengal, the bike never felt like radiating hot air from it.
Cons - turning radius is a bit high. Handle doesn't turn so much. Shorter wheelbase plus weight up top means this tends to topple at lower speeds although I've gotten quite used to the balance.
Finally thank you for giving this beautiful video on my dear machine. Just loved how you made my bike look(not literally my bike, would have loved it more though if you rode it😂)! Mind blowing content from the team and the man himself! Instant shareworthy!🔥
