Am a Bajaj RS owner for 7 years straight now(upgraded to a BS7 one last year November) and I got little beef with Bajaj. They have been constantly upgrading NS but the RS only had dual channel ABS and less teethed sprocket and flex fueling system upgrades and ever since the Dominar launched and they teased a SS400 concept we have been rightfully waiting for a true RS200 successor. In my honest opinion Bajaj didn't skimped on money on tech for the OG RS when it was launched e.g. ByBre braking system (more capable than today's most latest braking systems on Ninja300 and KTMs) and spec developed tyre by MRF at the time (around 2013 i.e. >10 years ago now that is wild) specially for RS with a different and more focused compound. Stock tyres on a RS even today give more confidence than most bikes I've ridden on stock tyres. Great review though Sarge, keep the rubber side down and throttle it out!
I wish Bajaj would come up with a Pulsar X250 Adventure Touring bike, with a 4-valve DOHC, 250cc engine, a six speed gearbox, a 19 inch front wheel, seat hieght of 825mm, ground clearance of 200mm, wheelbase of 1400mm, tank capacity of 15 litres, kerb weight around 170 kgs and priced around 2 lac 20 thousand rupees on-road.
We should understand that this bike is a sports commuter bike . Which focuses more on being an ideal commuter by giving us a comfortable and bump free ride with a little bit of sports characteristics for the office going people so that they can have some fun in their boring 9-5 life because they're the ones who can't make time for dedicated track riding or long road trips .
I Think The Traction Control and the OffRoad AbS Mode make sense on this bike because PULSARS have been thoroughly Riden IN THE REMORTEST Mountanious Terrains of NEPAL, Young Riders can fully utilize its added Features.
I usually don't comment but this channel needs more recognition, this is how a review should be done, practically pushed to the limits instead of just reading the specs. off the chart.
