So i bought the N250 in April 2022 for reigniting my love for motorcycles ,mostly for city use. But I end up covering laddakh, kaza, kashmir on it. An all-rounder bike.
Somethings about Bajaj just make no sense: - So many Pulsars and the major updates to them continue to be in terms of stickering (not even paint schemes) - The actual flagship (Dominar 400) continues to have just 2 colour schemes for years - Still hasn't found a way to upgrade the 220F with a new 220F. I am not kidding, I havent seen a single F250 till now. - RS200 showed promise, but has received no update since launch (2015/16)
Because the brand's vision statement is "From Sticke-ring to Nurburg-ring". Even Coke began life as a cough-mixture, or antacid or sumpn' like that. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
Two of the many reasons I am very keen to watch Motorinc's videos are: 1. To listen to great stuff from Shumi 2. To check if my opinions match with those of Shumi's.
I did Chennai to Bangalore on my Discover 150S a few months ago. The back and butt pain from that ride really nailed the point of how the Discover is ONLY a commuter and nothing else - and seeing that Bajaj managed to achieve the same result with the N250 despite a 100cc increase is sort of maddening💀
I own n250 2024 version and i have done my 500 kms on it this review is purely unbiased. I will be discussing the things i like and the i disliked 1. Power :- this bike has power without saying you will find yourself on 70-80 in city without any hassle and in no time. Riding it on 80 feels like you are riding your bike on 50-60 there are literally no vibrations. 2. Weight is an issue if you are upgrading from a 100 cc bike you will definitely feel the weight while moving it around. 3. Mileage:- I dont rush and general cruise it on 50-60 generally in the cities and i am getting mileage of 42-45 even before 1st service. You can get 45 kms mileage if you ride normally. There are some issues as well which i have faced which are following: 1. The bike is mainly made for cities and not for racing on Highways you feel a lack of power above 110 kmph. 2. Turning radius is very short for me. You will be moving your bike alot to turn it around. 3. Navigation is average - i would say not good not bad. Overall its a great commuter+ powerful bike and it will give you immense joy in riding it in cities rather than on long highways.
@@devrajsingh9900 this is average fuel economy before 1st service after 1st service i get 37 to 40 but after 1st service you'll feel the difference in power too
@@jayjohnxActually good over dry patches and bumbs...but above 80kmph,still the suspension will absorb bumbs, but the bike will feel jumpy, like spring rebound action towards handlebar...You will get used to it once you ride the bike...
Changes in new N250 are : 1. Wider tyres ( 110 and 140 mm) 2. 300 mm petal disk upfront. 3. Bluetooth with turn by turn navigation. 4. Abs modes for different conditions. 5. New graphics. 6. Traction control. 7. Usd forks. 8. Shorter wheelbase for more agility. All this at just a premium of around rs 900 only❤❤, this is gonna sell like hot cakes now.
I wanted to say thanks to this team. I just got the N150 last week & it's been a brilliant experience :) One reason I even did a test ride was the comparison between P150 and N160 from Motorinc, so thanks for that. Overall fit & finish, exhaust sound, good enough power, projector, good seating for rider & pillion with a great look in its white avatar. Kick start is always handy as starting my yamaha szr without battery is something I don't want to experience ever again. Mileage seems to be around 55 which is much more than I expected. Whether it should have the Pulsar brand or not, this is just an excellent motorcycle. Would have preferred a little more power and dual abs, but as a package, this is just very nicely put together. Good work from Bajaj!
@@rajatnaahar i tool a test ride on it. It just wasn't comfortable. The seat height was just a little too high (I'm 5'6'') and the turning radius is clearly more limited than other bikes, so trying to turn the bike near the showroom on the side of the road was such a hassle. The engine also stopped twice during the ride which never happened on any other test ride on hornet 2.0 or pulsar. The balance with the pillion just seemed off for some reason. Also when shifting gear the indicator just goes blank the moment clutch is activated which makes it rather useless and also not the same behaviour as on the other 2 bikes. Plus the pillion seat didn't seem very comfortable for older women which i needed it to be and the kick start is something I was looking for as I've had bad experiences in the past with self start. The projector was also a plus on Pulsar and the exhaust sound is just so good on it as well.
I fully agree on curating the product line; it's time they trim the Pulsar line and keep it simple. I saw the OG Pulsar on my commute the other day, and it reminded me that Pulsar meant that punchy, muscular bike from the 2000s. That's what it should be.
Rightly said 4:59 , OMG you guys are gem trust me. I brought F250 the only reason why i brought this because of 220f. Not even one single word you guys said wrong just amazing content. Bajaj watching your videos just shows your progress guys. Keep rocking with #truth
I rode a Suzuki Gs150r for 10 hours straight (only 4 10 min breaks in between) without any discomfort. I recently tried my friend's NS250 and after about 1.5 hours my body started giving me signals to get off of it.
As someone who owns both bikes, NS200 is way better for long tours. Yes the seat is harder but honestly it is better for longer rides from what I have experienced
The N250 to a new rider like me is better than the NS200. Why? Yes the NS has a better engine. And is much more agile and responsive. But. The N250 is 2x 3x time more stable under absolute hard braking. The NS wobbles as a result of it being really responsive to your inputs. And that stability gives me more confidence to keep the throttle pinned.
Arent you guys being a wee bit too negative? It's a competent bike for the price! You have to remember the Dominar 400 and 250 each was launched at around 1.5L ex showroom (1st lot) they wanted to have "something" at that price point. Unfortunately that's is how MBAs (most often mid level managers) see the lineup not in terms of BHP(not hating just being real). And cus our country is so diverse, there's a crazy elastic overlapping demand for various similar branded stuff at different price point! Bajaj wanted to replace the 220F as well, it had diminishing but stable demand paying customers tanked the sale of the F250 to get the 220F back. Corporate Investor concall presentation Over:P
I just DIScovered that Bajaj DIScontinued the DIScover brand!? I still remember the old advertisement "odi baba". Discover too was aspirational and brought style to the 125 segment back in the day. Why even?
@@54anurag my bad, i must me be mixing the two in my head Still the point remains, Bajaj's branding was on point back in the day. That rock version of Hamara Bajaj with Pulsar 220 is iconic to this day!
Hello team, Great conversation. However I'm still confused by the end of the video. What do you mean by weird suspension? You have not clearly explained it, You said 'not weird in the sense of unsafe, but you won't have a good time riding the bike', what does this mean? So do you mean it does not fall in sportier section nor comfort section, so what does this bike offer? Should we consider it if this is my first bike or look for other options in 250cc. I would request you to clarify this. Also give me what are best bikes available in 250cc to check out. Thank you in advance.
I think the Pulsar brand is being hurt because Bajaj is focused more on KTM and other partnerships. I just hope that they discover the falw in their execution and give this brand the love and attention it deserves.
I live in Bangalore and I haven’t seen a single new pulsar on the roads till date. Believe me I have really looked. People find more value in tvs or hero these days. Bajaj have shot themselves in the foot by diluting and then making a complete mess of the pulsar brand. There is no clear understanding as to what this bike is.
Bruh, have you seen the pulsar 125 sales ? It's through the roof ! The whole point of a strong brand is sell more bikes in it's name and fame . You must understand how marketing works.
I still ride a Discover 100 and always do I love riding it (clocked over 1L kms then simply lost count), so I'd like to believe that I've 'discover'ed a worthy update to my current motorcycle!🎉
Bluetooth connectivity is a very USEFUL feature. My phone camera stabilization got damaged because of handlebar vibrations. Now I switched to a motorcycle with bluetooth TBT navigation on speedometer. It works 95% as good as a phone navigation mounted on the handlebar.
I have an MT-15 with Bluetooth and haven't used it after the first month. I find it much easier to have the phone in my pocket with navigation turned ON and connected to my Bluetooth earphones.
@@ramboog2654 I use the Noise buds Venus. However, I'd recommend a Bluetooth communicator over this as you have a better sense of what's going around you because they don't suppress the ambient noise which can be critical in emergency situations.
I rplaced my 9 year old 200 NS with N250 this February ( before the update) for following reasons. 1. Softer suspension paricularly for the pillion. None of my pillion riders liked the hard suspension. 2. Smooth engine with a good exhaust note. 3.Marginally better mileage than 200 NS. 4. For the past 5 years my highway rides have become very rare. My observations after 1000kms 1. Handling is no where comparable to 200 NS and i am ok with it. 2. Ride over bad road is excellent.( i used to stand on the pegs of 200 NS over bad roads). The only other bike i teat rode was the Duke 250 and it is really sharp in handling but the suspension is as hard as 200 NS. The deciding factor for me is ride comfort and i love my N250(pre facelift). I believe there is a market for riders who want to replace their sporty machines with a more accomodating machine (as the rider become older).
@@balakrishnanselva1361 and last final question between Hunter 350 and N250 which is better deal in all aspects I liked hunter also but I heard it cause too much heat at thighs area and And also some times later we will see tappet sounds thats why I am worried to take hunter 350 What is your thoughts on this? 13:05 Nobody else has brought that up in their stories. That's because everyone else is a spec sheet reader disguising themselves as "auto journalists".
I can help Bajaj with their lineup: -> retire the, 150cc, engines -> fuse the dominar and Adventure Sport (AS) lineup, with the dominar being a nameplate for a more serious off-roader (AS400 Dominar) -> get rid of the Platina line completely -> Dal Chawal bike CT 110X CT 125X -> Commuter: D125 D160 D250 -> faired discover: DF250 (make the fairing beefier, the entire appeal of the 220f was the muscular fairing) -> naked sport pulsars: ns125 (liquid cooled) ns200 ns400 -> faired sport pulsars: fs125 (liquid cooled) fs200 fs400 -> adventure sport pulsars: as250 (liquid cooled) AS250 Dominar (liquid cooled) AS400 AS400 Dominar -> cruisers: avenger 250 avenger 400 (it was an eliminator to begin with, I don't see anything wrong with turning the avenger into a Japanese liquid-cooled sport bike engine cruiser. Plus the avenger would do a FAR better job of being a cruiser than the dominar) A shit-load of bikes? yes. But is there at least a FAR more clear demarcation of roles of each bike? Absolutely.
@@Anurag-er5xq I felt once Bajaj enters the larger displacement market, they’ll need names to at least stand out. Aprilia already had the RS name for a long time, all the other 400-500 class bikes have more distinguishable identifiers RC: KTM RS: Aprilia YZF-R: Yamaha Ninja: Kawasaki ZX: Kawasaki RR: TVS/BMW (same bike) GSXR/Gixxer: Suzuki CBR: Honda Having a different name will help the faired pulsars stand out, and considering a letter F in pulsars always seems to stoke lovely memories (barring the f250 cus the fairing was barely there), using the F moniker properly will seriously help marketing
I still remember the first time I saw a Pulsar 220F in red back in 7th grade; it was purely magical. I immediately became obsessed with motorcycles. And in 2014, when I saw the CBR250R Repsol edition, I was in awe-those were the golden days. Nothing comes close to the CBR 250R! What a beauty! Those days are gone nothing feels magical anymore! Too many motorcycles on social media I've lost the feeling of excitement & anticipation
I had a question, do you look at the spec sheet first and pay great attention to it to gather all the info before the ride or Do you first ride the bike and have a feel for it then look at the spec sheet and say yes the feeling of the ride is justified by the spec on the paper??
Depends, Shashank. For MotorInc First, we prefer to listen to the logic/solution side of the vehicle's story very closely. Sometimes this needs corroboration with the spec sheet. Post-test, you'll sometimes need spec sheets to validate certain things you felt/noticed. And finally, it's good to know certain aspects of the vehicle in comparison to its rivals where again, a combination of feelings/assessments and the spec sheet may be required. What we stopped doing right at the start, is creating content when _only_ a spec sheet is available, before riding and driving it. That's almost completely pointless content.
The DISCOVERy of this channel made me DISCOVER a informative side of two guys just talking about vehicles because they let us DISCOVER the world of vehicles in a fun way I also DISCOVERed the fact that every time Mr.Shumi said DISCOVER I laughed so hard that I had to rewind the video by 20 seconds to listen to them again because my laugh would cover what they are saying Thank you for making my morning fun 🙏🏼🙏🏼

These companies still thinking that celebrities will increase their sales shows how cringey they are. There good bikes increase sales and not celebrities
But was the Pulsar not introduced as a sporty commuter in the 1st place? And I can't recall any pulsar barring the ns and the rs to be outright sporty. So, I don't understand how the n250 which is a technologically superior pulsar any less pulsar-y than the existing line-up??!!
It seems like both of them personally hate N250. I have read a lot of comments below, in which it has been found that they are recommending MT or some other brand. So, this is really a big concern. Guys, please watch carefully comments and other RUclips channels. It is not honest review.
@Rahu_Rai: We will continue to recommend bikes we think riders will enjoy riding, no matter how it makes you feel. And please do feel free to disagree with our recommendations, and buy whatever you think is best of you. However, if you don't trust us, please do not watch MotorInc. i am kinda sad i think this bike had potential to be great for someone who was going for 160 cc but could save 20-30k more to get a 25 ps 250 cc machine i hope they improve
Hello both - thanks for the review. Just curious - for eg., Shumi said that the UX/UI was not enjoyable or a pleasant experience (more or less). How do you determine this - when you say that it's not good, what's your baseline - is it coming from your experience on premium machines (Multis, Busas etc.) or is this perspective coming from what you've experienced in the range in which the motorcycle sits in or belongs to? Cheers!
How are you able to judge if a motorcycle is good when your type of bike is a fast revving and exciting bike? For example, how can you say the Classic 350 is a good bike when the type of bike you love is almost opposite of that bike, a 390?
Just managed to get a test ride few days back. I was at around 105 on 4th gear, the bike was kind of nervous. It showed some sign of wobbling. I shifted up to 5th with a little higher force than usual on the lever and the bike wobbled like crazy. If I had encountered even any minor bumps, I might have fallen off. Thankfully the road was smooth. I was waiting for this bike to relaunch for the last 8 months. Now I have to look for something else. Is this behaviour normal on all N250s or an issue with my test ride bike? Have you felt anything similar to this?
The NS200 was lightning in a bottle, I can't imagine bajaj as they are now make that magic happen again.. I don't understand what's been happening to bajaj, they really let die many great bikes. Instead of a n150,160, ns125,160, etc.. i wish they continued/ updated the RS200, the AS200(an exceptional tourer) and more unique pulsars lost to time.(Some of them weren't even bajaj's fault 😂). Anyways hoping for the best with the 400s, really sweet would be they update the dominar also.(The real actual flagship.)
Also, most of the above pulsar's failure comes down to some honestly goofy styling and their lax attitude towards updates.. getting it right with the 400s is of utmost importance.
I need a bike for daily commuting of 50 Kms involving city and highway rides, with good fuel efficiency and BHP at the same time. I have been a 220F fan but never owned one,as I had 180. Now shall I go for F250 to fulfill the longstanding urge to get 220F which hasn't died with time, or there are any other better options ?
The whole video is 10/10.... Been following both Shumi and Kartikeya from the days of zigwheels and Powerdrifts. I love the way you guys present your thoughts and are never in a rush to put a video on your channel... Keep the same way..more n more to go...
Imo this bike is an all-rounder! Probably not the best in class, but whatever we want it to do in day to day usage, it does very very well. Now it got features, wider rear tyres which does elevate its looks and stance as well. Its priced so well too if we look into the current automobile market trajectory. I would deadass buy this over the likes of MT15, FZ25, Apache 200, CB300F etc etc etc.
Bro id suggest you stop comparing all pulsars with ktms and adrenaline Bajaj made it to target a particular category called commuting and it does that perfectly and with comfort so what's with all the critisism?
Oh we would as soon as Bajaj set the expectations for Pulsar buyers correctly by saying that these were commuters. The ads and marketing sell excitement, so we must lay out of the user experience for the prospective buyer-rider clearly
Both are good options...The extra 25000 you are paying is just for the extra power in CB300F and Better cornering stability due to wider tyres...Rest is your decision...

being a student who has to commute a lot , I was massively massively confused between the n250 and a ns200. The N250 was newer was higher quality, the NS was sportier and supported my student DNA. i didnt get to ride these machines a lot, and due to the very short test rides offered, i had no idea how those bike felt in the real conditions on the long stretch. looking at the Exited shumi when he presented the NS, it is the pulsar to go. might as well wait for the bigger of the NS coming the next month, any thoughts on whether should i wait??
Hi, do you guyz have any source at Tvs Motors? If yes then can you ask them whether they planning to launch all new or atleast a facelift of RTR 200 4V anytime soon?
If you own a bike , say below 200cc and want to upgrade to 200-250cc , you need to watch from here 31:17 . That 40bhp magic wisdom from shumi is the best info you would want in making your next bike purchasing decision/confusion sorted out.
Have a question about how shumi described the previous n250 to be a bike with a really good suspension setup in the last n 250 video. Has that changed in this new gen due to the change in suspension setup and tweaks in the wheelbase as well as up sizing the wheels.
Well that's sad cause the previous one really had an amazing suspension setup that It was my first pick bike after I finish my M. Sc. Anyway it's really great to see this channel grow as it gives me so much knowledge just as a bike enthusiast. It feels like a very long journey I remember watching shumi review the Suzuki gs150r for overdrive when my brother was getting his first bike. Now when I'm on the brink of getting mine I consume so much of content from this channel that it feels like shumi is a friend who I have never ever met but has always got me covered with his advice and insights on bikes that makes me make the best possible decision.
Hey shumi this is varma and im here because I'm confused like wayyyy to confused soo... I'll mention it in points 1. I'm confused about which bike should i buy NS200,N250,N160, DOMINAR 250(i just love bajaj)i don't care new or used I personally like the 200ns golden heart sooo you just tell me plzzz 2. I already drive a kia seltos but now i want a bike cause i can't go everywhere with my car in the city i used in my car earlier but now I'm fed up 3. The bike ill buy will be for city use in (HYDERABAD) and some small weekend rides well most of the weekend rides will be in telengana state so not big rides but yes i will go some decent distances 4. Which bike would suit me will be comfortable for me and my use and ill not use the bike much ill mostly rely on my car.... So, which bike suits me and i forgot to mention im 5'11 and yes my body build resembles you mostly soo plz give me relief and choose my first bike (i know how to ride a bike but was never allowed to buy one because of parents they thought ill just ride into someone)
I think i have cracked the pulsar lineup. The OG pulsar 125, 150 and 220F is for those who are still not ready to accept new design language. NS series is for those who want a sportier pulsars. And N series is basically targeting customers who want bike only for commuting basically N series is the commuter in the skin of naked streetfighters.
@motorinc but as you mentioned in review, the only thing that holds me back is the old design. I have discover 150S and riding it for 10 years. Ns200 is already old in design, and if i buy right now, i will ride it for another may be 8-10 years. Other than pulsar, which bike do you recommend for budget around 1.8L-2L. Thanks for your timely reply.
If you want to have fun, but you're ok with a slightly older bike, the NS200 is a better overall product. Else the N250. Do give the RTR200 a test ride to if you can, it might be a better balance between these two
I feel like 'first impressions' got a lot more traction than you guys expected it to, and now most of the videos are long-form content (I love it), where the dads of the Indian motorcycling community discuss a lot more than just the bike in question. So, when KTM came to India and I saw their bikes on the road, I thought "who asked for these?" and overtime I realized that maybe it was not something we asked for but needed, to grow as motorcyclists. And MotorInc is similar in the sense that I didn't know I wanted it, but it was a real breath of fresh air for the Indian motorcycle journalism. I am so happy both of you made the decision to make your own channel and take a different approach.
Quick summary rating: 10 on 10😂 I just think it's a good bike especially if it's someone's first 250cc especially in the rural areas maybe like how the discover did a great job and for the flagship question, we just have to wait for the 400 class! And which is your 200+bhp bike sir?😂
Hi motorinc I have been planning a lot to buy this bike particularly cause I liked the previous gen 250 a lot. In the end I had one question. Can changing the tyres to radial make the bike more. competent.
@@motorincThey are asking overall...No,N250 is way more better bike...Just adjust the Preload in Back Suspension to somewhat stiffer,Change the Front and Rear tyres to better Options like Michellin Road 5 or Alpha H1 or Even The Revz C Radial setup...Then the bike will be totally awesome for any ride conditions...
A small tip for bajaj. 1. Platina brand (100cc / 125cc) for commuting 2. Discover (150-200 cc) 3. Pulsar (180 above) sports naked and sports fully faired 4. Dominar (above 300) for touring and adventure touring.

Hey shumi, Purchased the Bajaj Pulsar N250 after watching your review, but I'm experiencing a wobbling issue at speeds over 90kmph, which really affects my confidence at higher speeds. I even visited the service center, but they couldn't resolve the issue. Could you suggest any modifications or adjustments that might help minimize the wobbling? Thanks in advance!

I have a question I don't seem to get an answer to, a good frame and suspension setup makes a good bike right? What makes it good? For a sporty riding experience what makes sense, all stiff with no flex? Some reviews of the new N250 say the front end has become better yet, it's a different story with you guys. What are some examples of a good setup for sporty riding.
The only way to really answer this for yourself, @roguem4chine495 is to go ride a _lot_ of bikes. You'll see that conventional wisdom about how a specific format for suspension/frame doesn't automatically create good/bad feelings. The other reason why feedback varies is because rider skill varies. The R15 is awesome because it works so well across a range of skills - so you'll see it being praised quite often. However, when a suspension setup is not great (whatever the reason for that is), you'll start to see variation in the reports because some riders have the skills to work past the issues, others do not. In our case, we believe we're able to separate what the bike does from what we did (to it) clearly enough to give clarity.
@@motorinc I just wanted to come back and say that I took your advice. I was lucky enough to experience a whole host of bikes between the time I posted that comment and now. 13 to be precise. I've found some good ones and some that I don't really feel great riding. They are all so different. Even the Triumph 400s. And honestly, I just wanna ride some more.
Hunters rear suspension is stiff and can cause back pain, and in traffic the engine will heat more, the suspension can be swaped with the classic rear suspension, heat cannot be solved as it is a aircooled one,if u can live with it go for the hunter, meanwhile the n250 comes with a plush ride and heating is not that much,so its your preference as they are not major dealbreakers!
I bought F250 in 2022., Till date I'have ridden 20k kms. I used it to daily commute, weekend gateway & also in long ride. Pros. 1. Fuel economy 38-40 (Kolkata City heavy traffic conditions with pillion) Highway 42-45kmpl (tank to tank) 2. Almost No maintenance. 3. Good torque. 4. Comfortable ride quality. Cons. 1. Mirror's quality not up to the mark, but ok to use. 2. Not for sporty person who want to ride it like hell.. (RS200) Overall most affordable semi faired 250cc practical motorbike. Bajaj should launch F250 It has potential.
I also bought F250 dual in 2022. 3300kms ridden. Ride quality and suspension are awesome. Sound is awesome. Headlight is not usable on highways. No instant acceleration. Too linear. When I give the throttle, just the engine sound increases but the bike pulls very slowly. Not sure if it is just my bike. Also the mudguard from behind looks ugly

Sunday brunch, with Shumi's video perfect weekend ❤❤❤
One pulsar a week, keeps the line up weak.
High time for Bajaj to launch a adv with a sizable engine.
😆
I own n250 2024 version and i have done my 500 kms on it this review is purely unbiased. I will be discussing the things i like and the i disliked
There are some issues as well which i have faced which are following:
This is mid mileage or tank to tank mileage 🎉???????
@@devrajsingh9900 this is average fuel economy before 1st service after 1st service i get 37 to 40 but after 1st service you'll feel the difference in power too
@@shresthkaushik1393so u will not recommend this bike for long rides with pillion? Long rides means 150kms ?
How is the bike suspension when going over bad patches of roads and potholes
@@jayjohnxActually good over dry patches and bumbs...but above 80kmph,still the suspension will absorb bumbs, but the bike will feel jumpy, like spring rebound action towards handlebar...You will get used to it once you ride the bike...
Changes in new N250 are :
1. Wider tyres ( 110 and 140 mm)
2. 300 mm petal disk upfront.
Thanks for the summary, @ampassionstruck9138!
Thanks T! Lovely to hear from you!
Congrats on the new bike. Why didn't you go for the 160 4v Apache?

What?!

Really hope that the NS400 exceed all expectations but not in weight class like Dominor as being a 200 kg titan with 40 HP
Indeed!
I fully agree on curating the product line; it's time they trim the Pulsar line and keep it simple. I saw the OG Pulsar on my commute the other day, and it reminded me that Pulsar meant that punchy, muscular bike from the 2000s. That's what it should be.
Agreed! Thanks Chandler!
Rightly said 4:59 , OMG you guys are gem trust me.

@@alsa4realyou are right about 220f, it doesn't like slow speed corners at all, above 90, 100 it is stable, likes long sweeping corners.
Thanks for letting us know! Kartik and Njanshalu!
Fair @sahilhakani5220. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah.. this one isn't that wierd.
I just DIScovered that Bajaj DIScontinued the DIScover brand!? I still remember the old advertisement "odi baba". Discover too was aspirational and brought style to the 125 segment back in the day.
Why even?
Wasn't that for caliber?
Well spotted Anurag! Discover had Jackie Chan!
@@54anurag my bad, i must me be mixing the two in my head
Still the point remains, Bajaj's branding was on point back in the day.

Really, discover discontinued? So Pulsar is now a Discover! Where is the Pulsar then?
Hello team,
Great conversation.
Agreed! And we see what you did there!

Small kids are sitting on the Bajaj top management level, they are playing around with their toys
In Pune and Mumbai it's a different story. I see A LOT of N160 and some N250.
Also a lot of NS200.
I am from Assam and it's actually opposite here. Ratio wise 7 Pulsar N160/N150 : 3 RTR 160 4v and am yet to spot any Xtreme 160R 4V on road 😅
N160 is very popular here in bengal.
Bruh, have you seen the pulsar 125 sales ? It's through the roof ! The whole point of a strong brand is sell more bikes in it's name and fame . You must understand how marketing works.
Same in Hyderabad

My observations after 1000kms

A shit-load of bikes? yes. But is there at least a FAR more clear demarcation of roles of each bike? Absolutely.

Why fs? there is already rs out there
@@Anurag-er5xq I felt once Bajaj enters the larger displacement market, they’ll need names to at least stand out. Aprilia already had the RS name for a long time, all the other 400-500 class bikes have more distinguishable identifiers

YZF-R: Yamaha

Very true
I still remember the first time I saw a Pulsar 220F in red back in 7th grade; it was purely magical. I immediately became obsessed with motorcycles. And in 2014, when I saw the CBR250R Repsol edition, I was in awe-those were the golden days. Nothing comes close to the CBR 250R! What a beauty!
Those days are gone nothing feels magical anymore! Too many motorcycles on social media I've lost the feeling of excitement & anticipation
Can't wait for the NS400 review from you guys.. Love you shumi and kartikya
Thank you so much! We believe we're riding them in May
I had a question,
do you look at the spec sheet first and pay great attention to it to gather all the info before the ride or
Do you first ride the bike and have a feel for it then look at the spec sheet and say yes the feeling of the ride is justified by the spec on the paper??
Depends, Shashank. For MotorInc First, we prefer to listen to the logic/solution side of the vehicle's story very closely. Sometimes this needs corroboration with the spec sheet. Post-test, you'll sometimes need spec sheets to validate certain things you felt/noticed. And finally, it's good to know certain aspects of the vehicle in comparison to its rivals where again, a combination of feelings/assessments and the spec sheet may be required. What we stopped doing right at the start, is creating content when _only_ a spec sheet is available, before riding and driving it. That's almost completely pointless content.
The DISCOVERy of this channel made me DISCOVER a informative side of two guys just talking about vehicles because they let us DISCOVER the world of vehicles in a fun way
I also DISCOVERed the fact that every time Mr.Shumi said DISCOVER I laughed so hard that I had to rewind the video by 20 seconds to listen to them again because my laugh would cover what they are saying

By the standards of a time. The Pulsar was superior in terms of performance and handling for its time. But is it so today?
It seems like both of them personally hate N250. I have read a lot of comments below, in which it has been found that they are recommending MT or some other brand. So, this is really a big concern. Guys, please watch carefully comments and other RUclips channels. It is not honest review.

For example, how can you say the Classic 350 is a good bike when the type of bike you love is almost opposite of that bike, a 390?
how good/perfect is this bike if upgrading from Splendor 125. or should I Wait .

Have you felt anything similar to this?
bro did u checked how the slipper clutch is working? coz when I downshifted the gears aggressively the bike jumped a bit...
Superb point @Raage!

So, which bike suits me and i forgot to mention im 5'11 and yes my body build resembles you mostly soo plz give me relief and choose my first bike (i know how to ride a bike but was never allowed to buy one because of parents they thought ill just ride into someone)
13:13 Correction: These are 37 mm forks. 33mm are used on ns200..
Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Which pulsar do you recommend in 200cc to 400cc? If any
Our pick would be the NS200 just for how fun it is to drive @rajdip1994.
I am confused between ns200 and n250. I am a 2nd year college student and this is my first bike from Honda Dio. Which bike should i buy?
If you want to have fun, but you're ok with a slightly older bike, the NS200 is a better overall product. Else the N250. Do give the RTR200 a test ride to if you can, it might be a better balance between these two
Go for N250,it's definitely better for College commutes...
@@motorinc How dumb you are recommending rtr 200 . Poor plastic body and pathetic service 🤡🤡🤡
is it feel smooth & comfortable at 110kmph .. ?
Yes, reasonably good., Abir
What a class! Thoroughly analysed! You guys are absolutely killing it!
Thank you @777southpaw!
Quick summary rating: 10 on 10😂
I just think it's a good bike especially if it's someone's first 250cc especially in the rural areas maybe like how the discover did a great job and for the flagship question, we just have to wait for the 400 class!
And which is your 200+bhp bike sir?😂
Sir has many!
Hi motorinc I have been planning a lot to buy this bike particularly cause I liked the previous gen 250 a lot. In the end I had one question. Can changing the tyres to radial make the bike more. competent.
I don't think so...
After that you need a bit of front suspension tuning and rear preload adjustment...That don't cost much, but that will do the job
@@BUGATTICHIRONSSwhere can i do that?
Should I ho for f250 or n250 for daily usage purpose?
They are mainly meant to be commuters @animitbhowmick3025 so do take a test ride and see if you like them.
is there any new upgrade on n160 would they give usd forks
Is the MT 15 a better overall bike when compared to the new N250?
For riding enthusiastically? Yes.
@@motorincThey are asking overall...No,N250 is way more better bike...Just adjust the Preload in Back Suspension to somewhat stiffer,Change the Front and Rear tyres to better Options like Michellin Road 5 or Alpha H1 or Even The Revz C Radial setup...Then the bike will be totally awesome for any ride conditions...
where to do that tuning?
A small tip for bajaj.
1. Platina brand (100cc / 125cc) for commuting
2. Discover (150-200 cc)
3. Pulsar (180 above) sports naked and sports fully faired
4. Dominar (above 300) for touring and adventure touring.
The number one video that could potentially attract thousands of new subscriber and you guys put it behind a pay wall. Genius.
This video is available for everyone @sho_k1. That's why you were able to make this comment.
@@motorinc You would not believe me i was listening to this video and minimized it(yt premium feature) and then looked for the classic 350 video on members only playlist made that comment there and bam now i look stupid. Tell me if someone new never saw those great videos why the hell he would even become a member. To me classic 350 review was an art work.
Charging tires and adjusting suspension
I've heard it solves the issue
What's the feedback of the projector headlight system?
Its a tough job for kartik and shumi to remember all the pulsar name and features so that they give a good summary
It seems like BAJAJ doing prank with shumi and krathik
They feel packed fosho!
Does one buy a duke250 or is the gulf to 40bhp bikes worth holding out for? Is the speed 400 that much superior to the Duke250?
For a new rider, a 250cc/30bhp bike is an essential starting point, @kp6425v. Do not skip that step.
Would you recommend this for a college going student as a 1st bike?
Among the three Duke 250, N 250, & NS 250 which would you recommend.
If you need to suggest one between Hunter 350 and N250, which one you will suggest?
Hunters rear suspension is stiff and can cause back pain, and in traffic the engine will heat more, the suspension can be swaped with the classic rear suspension, heat cannot be solved as it is a aircooled one,if u can live with it go for the hunter, meanwhile the n250 comes with a plush ride and heating is not that much,so its your preference as they are not major dealbreakers!
I bought F250 in 2022., Till date I'have ridden 20k kms.
I used it to daily commute, weekend gateway & also in long ride.
Pros.
1. Fuel economy 38-40 (Kolkata City heavy traffic conditions with pillion)
Highway 42-45kmpl (tank to tank)
2. Almost No maintenance.
3. Good torque.
4. Comfortable ride quality.
Cons.
1. Mirror's quality not up to the mark, but ok to use.
2. Not for sporty person who want to ride it like hell.. (RS200)
Overall most affordable semi faired 250cc practical motorbike.
Hey Motorinc!
I love your content for motorcycle enthusiasts! But have you considered reaching out to folks who are new to the world of two (or even four) wheels?
I'd love to see a series that combines two ideas:
*Top 5 Motorcycles for Different Riders:** This could cater to job types, riding styles (power, mileage, off-road), etc.
* **Understanding Bikes & Cars for Beginners:** This would explain key features, different types, and what to consider when buying.
This combination would be a fantastic resource for complete newcomers! Maybe even expanding this into a video series
