I agree 100 percent with this review. The Razor 4 is my favorite daily trainer of all time. I can use it for literally anything and it just keeps going.
Forza 4 was my first Skechers running shoe. I went through 2 Razor 3s, loved them so much after i figured the sizing for me. Liked the Razor Excess 2 but the outsole gave out way too soon and couldnt run in them anymore. But the Razor 4 has been at the top of my list for 2023 and the warmer weather. i have become a multi-shoe runner for different workouts to just 1 or 2 do it alls. Ppl look at me crazy when i pass em with skechers or nike infinity 2s lol. If it works I stick with it till it breaks
Thankyou for mentioning that you loved the Razor 3’s as I do too. But my size (US men’s 14) is no longer available (always tough to source) so it looks like I need version 4.
Thank you! And I agree, Skechers marketing for their performance athletic and running shoes is lackluster. Definitely an underrated brand, even after all these years.
Thanks for directing me to this review and for highlighting the Razor 4. You might remember me saying I’m transitioning to Altra’s from 8mm and was hoping my Kinvara’s would work for me as a long run shoe as they are 4mm and I’ve done 10k’s etc in them. Thought I could train up to half marathon distance in them and maybe use them for a half race that I’m training for (as not yet ready to do that distance in zero drop) But the ride for me in Kinvara is too firm for a half marathon- my legs aren’t ready for that yet and I need something more forgiving. So do you think this could be it? The challenge is my feet are already splaying so I might need a wide fit if Skechers do one. In my Kinvara’s the width of my metatarsals is already creeping beyond the footbed
Thanks for checking out video! I do remember you. I think the Razor 4 would be a great shoe however it's not offered in a wide fit. I would not consider this shoe wide at all.
@@SeeChadRun ah…back to the drawing board. Kinda stuck in the transition phase with nothing in my rotation that is 4mm longish distance. So many brands are going for high stack and I’m swimming against the tide. I like to be closer to the ground but with some bounce ☺️thanks for taking time to reply
Thanks for checking out the video! This color was sent to me by Skechers. I'm a little surprised that they aren't offering it on their website because I think it's the best color so far! Love how bright and flashy it is.
The heel area is decently cushioned with a 30mm stack, and while that is not as high as some shoes, the midsole material feels nice (soft but springy too). The cushioning is not consistent from heel to toe, and has a minimal 4mm drop (30mm heel, 26mm forefoot).
I didn't have an opportunity to run in the max road 6, but I can tell you that the razor 4 was my favorite road shoe in 2023. The razor 4 doesn't have the most cushioning, but it was always comfortable underfoot. Because the shoe is so lightweight, it's also a lot of fun to run in! Another 4mm drop shoe is the Altra FWD Experience, which is also quite nice but the midsole is in his bouncy as in the razor 4.
If it's true to size! No need to size up or down. At this point, I've had the shoe for over a year and it became my favorite road shoe of 2023. I like it so much. I'm getting a second pair!
@@SeeChadRun Beautiful video, Thank you so much. I want to purchase this for sure but would you suggest any new model/upgraded shoe in this range from sketchers since now v r in 2024 or shall I go for this one ? Kindly guide Love from India❤

Nice review. Where did you get that color?
Thanks for checking out the video! This color was sent to me by Skechers. I'm a little surprised that they aren't offering it on their website because I think it's the best color so far! Love how bright and flashy it is.
Thanks for the review. How cushioned is the heel area? Is the cushion consistent from heel to forefoot?
The heel area is decently cushioned with a 30mm stack, and while that is not as high as some shoes, the midsole material feels nice (soft but springy too). The cushioning is not consistent from heel to toe, and has a minimal 4mm drop (30mm heel, 26mm forefoot).
@See Chad Run Thank you for clarifying! Is the insole removable?
The insole is gently glued in place but can be removed.
How do you compare the Skechers Razor 4 to the Max Road 6?
I didn't have an opportunity to run in the max road 6, but I can tell you that the razor 4 was my favorite road shoe in 2023. The razor 4 doesn't have the most cushioning, but it was always comfortable underfoot. Because the shoe is so lightweight, it's also a lot of fun to run in! hello, is this a daily trainer shoes?plus i felt it was bit firm and hurt my knee bit when i jog
I think it's a great daily trainer but some people may want more underfoot cushioning.
If they could add 4mm to the heel and forefoot this shoe would have been perfect (30mm-34mm)
how is the fit? is it true to size?
If it's true to size! No need to size up or down. At this point, I've had the shoe for over a year and it became my favorite road shoe of 2023. I like it so much. I'm getting a second pair!

Best commercial
I'll take it as a compliment, but perhaps you'd like one of my ultra trail race videos more instead 😉 ruclips.net/video/NKTrb3M0Cmg/видео.html
