Oh God now I'm confused should I get these or the upcoming kinvara 14. Anyway, listening to your description, I'm glad because honestly that is EXACTLY how I felt about the razor 3! I thought I was crazy until I hear someone else (you) also have that impresssion out of a shoe. The razor 3 was one of the best shoes I ever had. Ran my first full marathon in them back in 2019, I was 37 years old back then, so my legs have past their prime. But everytime I use the razor 3 for speedy stuff, it was like running with a good friend that always bully you and said "is that all you got? come on you weak punk! is that all you got?" and laughing at you like crazy. I may be imagining stuff.. but that was exactly why the razor 3 was so damn fun and I got my 5k, 10k, and Half marathon PBs in them! Plus that 1st full marathon of course. Yes, I've updated my PBs with new shoes, carbon plated shoes and all... but 2019 razor 3 still has its place in my heart. Let's see if I will get the razor 4 or the kinvara 14...
I think it is a good shoe and the new foam is an improvement for Skechers without increasing the cost of the shoes too much (vs PEBA based foams). However, for me putting "Speed" print on the shoe is a bit tacky and presumptuous.
Thanks very much for reminding me of Skechers! I really have slept on the brand and simply forgotten about them. Going to revisit them and check them out again now. Much appreciated for the wonderful review.
I love Skechers Razor. ❤️ All of them! Every and each one of them. But unfortunately they are so difficult to find in the old continent. They come to the Europe sometimes a year later than in the US and some of them not at all.
the max road 6 will be the heaviest max road in history. this is somewhat disappointing because maxroad lineup was always the lightest option in the max cushioned shoe category. I loved my maxroad 5, but this year I will get the skechers ride 11 for daily runs.
@@aristodiga82 weight never really bothers me for shoes that I'm using for those easy days, as long as its comfortable and the ride feels nice then I'm happy. I have the Alphafly, vaporfly and saucony pro 3 if I need a light race shoe
Hello Fordy...thanks for another comprehensive review. I have the Endorphin Speed 3 for faster workouts (i.e., tempo, threshold, etc.). Is the Razor 4 similar? I was thinking of using the Razor 4 for easy runs with strides at the end. Thank you
@@FordyRuns when looking for skechers I always struggle to find my size too so never tried any yet. They only seem to go to 11 and no half sizes on most places.

Had the razor 3’s and loved them .. Smashed many a Parkrun in them and used for my 1st half . May get these for my next marathon block after Tokyo 👍

It’s a great tempo shoe really is the speed is defo more daily focussed

Well, I decided to buy Magic Speed 2 over Razor 4. I did own Razor 3 and plus and Max Road 4 and 5 too… let us how magical it is ✌🏼

Sketchers shouldn’t have added the plate to this shoe or made the mid-foot stack higher. The shoe just didn’t feel good with that plate.
At $130 they are going to take a chunk out of the market
