Looks great...I love mine. Btw I thought that the 45 mil case may look giant on my wrist... but with the wire lugs it looks great ! Enjoy your new time piece !
Congrats on the new addition to the collection! Panerai are very hit or miss with me, but this is one of the styles I like. Looking forward to the full review!
Congrats J, I went through a very similar process with my Panerai, putting it off for years because I wasn't sure. When I eventually got mine (also a 45mm Radiomir, but the base two hander manual, so nice and thin which makes it even more wearable in my opinion), I loved how it felt and looked on my wrist. Clearly still a large watch, but that's the nature and purpose of it, and it's something nicely different in my collection. I'm not sure I'd ever pay anything close to retail for a new one though, especially for an ETA based watch (mine is a modified Unitas 6497), but they can be had for good value used.
Yeah I feel the same way regarding the price. I'm glad I finally overcame my reservations. I really appreciate your taste in watches (and video games =) ) so I'm glad we have similar taste.
Need your ADVICE on my first PAM: 312, 510 or 104... What you guys think? I think the best option would be the 312 but I'm not sure. Please comment. Thank you.
Lorenz Müller you need to try them on..they all wear differently, i found the 312 tall and top heavy compared to the 423 47mm which has a flat back and is very comfortable
box looks like beech wood? Very goodlooking Panerai you got there.. love the rounded case flanks/edges but the case is still a bit too thick for my taste. Wonderful strap (maybe the best part! heh) and crystal looks gorgeous. the 7750 is a great base. It uses the op III auto? Love the manual-wind op XXVI
Look at you!! Congrats on the new purchase!! I never know how I feel about wire lugs, I sometimes love them and sometimes don't, I would say our relationship status is "complicated" lol. Having said that, it looks good on the Panerai and it looks fantastic on you! Gives you some nice edge. 😉
Hi J....congratz on the new Panerai. I've never owned one and I'm curious how you fair with your new watch. The only Pans I've ever gone nuts over are the two different bronzo models with those military olive drab dials and beautiful patina cases. They are extremely hard to find and if one shows up at a fair price, it's snatched up in minutes.
ya..I know.....right? The two models that are bronze are so darn expensive. One popped up on Govberg at a very reasonable price used, but was gone in less than 1/2 a day. I had no time to scramble and buy it.
Yes, for that money I would never be a buyer. When I could have a Lange instead I can't fathom buying a Panerai. I would struggle to pay over 10k for a Panerai personally. I say that and I'm loving my Radiomir.
Looks like the Reverie. LoL. Each to their own. Did I hear 45mm? Big watch. It is a radical departure from th GS and was a surprise. Interested to see how it fairs on your wrist.
J. beautiful watch and nice job on the video as always. I like the Panerai also however, I have never owned one (yet). I do have a question from watching this video and many others as well. What is the problem showing the SN? Like I said I have heard this is something not to show from several videos. PS. if you do another video on the Panerais can you speak more about the history and movements of these watches? CHEERS, Kenny
Hey Kenny, thank you. When I review the watch I will speak more about the history. As for the SN, as M Daley said below I don't want the forger copying my serial number.
Congrats on your Panerai! Looks good on your wrist. Could you please explain why everyone is so cautious not to show the serial number on camera? I asked my Omega AD about it. And he said there would be no risk it all.
Ah, okay! I thought it might have something to do with the possibility, someone else could pretend ownership or something like this. Thank you for the explanation.
Nice watch. Don't like cyclops on a Pamerai or a Rolex. I don't get a watch with diver heritage with a date. But it's a great looking watch and at least the cyclops doesn't bump out
I'm still in your why-should-I-buy-a-Panerei-when-I-can-get-aRolex-phase. However, it's not because of the in-house vs. ETA movements. I am a believer that ETA makes good, time-tested movements where many in-house movements fail. It is in part because most Panerei's are in the oversized watch size phase and I don't like that on my medium wrist. Also, while the build quality of a Panerei is fine, I still believe it just cannot compare to the build quality of a Rolex for the same price. To each his own.
Newspaper for packing material?!? Says a lot about the place where you got it from. It's like you got it off the back of a truck. Doesn't look like you got it from a reputable place. Such a luxury item should never be packaged like that. Makes me think about its legitimacy. Where did you get it from so I know not to make a purchase from there???
Memmnarch1981 I'd do the same. I fucking hate people and don't want them to know jackshit about me or where or how I source my product. Sorry too many lowlifes out there.
Hi J. Wow. That's an absolute beauty. So very envious!
Looks great...I love mine. Btw I thought that the 45 mil case may look giant on my wrist... but with the wire lugs it looks great !
Enjoy your new time piece !
Hi Anthony, nice watch and a good choice for the style and type. You can't go wrong with a Panerai. Enjoy.
That's a very stylish watch! Enjoy! Looking at Panerai myself!
Congrats on the new addition to the collection! Panerai are very hit or miss with me, but this is one of the styles I like. Looking forward to the full review!
Congrats J - new watch looks great. Thanks for sharing
Nice dude congratz, looks pretty good on your wrist already. Really digging the inverted cyclops

Beautiful watch. enjoy wearing it and thanks for sharing this special moment :)

Great watch. Looks so nice on your wrist. Hope one day one PAM also fits well on mine too. Cheers
Congrats on the beautiful watch!
Gorgeous watch brother 👍 I love panerai, definitely a Grail .. really enjoyed the candidness of this video . Great job 😉😉😉
Nice review. Honest opinion, no pandering to the supplier. I agree with you, too small and priced alittle high for a micro brand with an NH35.
Wow very nice piece. I've always wondered if panerai would be too big for me but my wrist is also just under 7 in. and it looks great! Congrats.
With a 7 inch wrist you can certainly wear one.
Beautiful watch. Congrats!!
box looks like beech wood?

Yeah, the bronzo ones are crazy expensive now (30K ish) when they were 12k new. It is nuts.
ya..I know.....right? The two models that are bronze are so darn expensive. One popped up on Govberg at a very reasonable price used, but was gone in less than 1/2 a day. I had no time to scramble and buy it.

Yep, you're happy. Look forward to the full review coming. Enjoy it in peace.

Congrats, its a great looking watch
Beautiful!!
Hey did the box ever reply to you?
It definitely looks good on your wristicle.
Which website do you use to order the watch?
Your sense of suspense was fun. It's like I was really there.
Congrats 👍🏻 love it
Very nice! I like the models without the giant crown lock-down. You did well. Which watch were you wearing at the beginning of the video?
I was wearing an Orion Field Standard (review goes up soon)
Congratulations on your Panerai. It looks beautiful in the video. Are those wire lugs? They look like it. I hope you enjoy it!!!
Indeed, those are wire lugs. I'm loving it. Thank you!
Is that an in-house movement? I believe that was the biggest grip most people had with Panerai is that they didn't make their own.
J. beautiful watch and nice job on the video as always. I like the Panerai also however, I have never owned one (yet). I do have a question from watching this video and many others as well. CHEERS,
Kenny
Kenny Howell Forgers have gotten to the point that they will take a real SN and put it on a fake.
Hey Kenny, thank you. When I review the watch I will speak more about the history. As for the SN, as M Daley said below I don't want the forger copying my serial number.
Awesome!
very cool watch ! congratulation!
Any chance to know where you bought it from? There are many who sell them second hand but don't know who to trust.
+Firas mine was a private sale.
Ah, alright. No worries. Thanks anyway.
it actually looks perfect on wrist
Still radioactive?
Shame it doesn't have that typical crown guard. I think that is what makes a Pan a Pan.
you should do a state of the collection video
Congrats on your Panerai! Looks good on your wrist.
Could you please explain why everyone is so cautious not to show the serial number on camera? I asked my Omega AD about it. And he said there would be no risk it all.
Yeah, I don't want replica watch makers using my serial number on fake watches or learning how to make a better replica.
Ah, okay! I thought it might have something to do with the possibility, someone else could pretend ownership or something like this. Thank you for the explanation.
I love the radiomir but it just doesn't suit me when I put it on . Wear it in good health buddy .
Skip to 4:20 to see the watch.
wow you get four boxes, nice ;)
Great watch but if your gunna get a Panerai you gotta get one with the unique crown guard
This is the way people react when they first pop open a Panerai -- Wow.
how much is it worth ?
Very nice, Cheers
can I help you pick one great knife?
Yes, but I would never use it haha.
To open boxes you ordered? That's what I use mine for to tell me that I didn't spend 500€ for nothing... ;-)
The small Sebenza 21 would fit you well. You don't need a large knife and the small Sebenza is a nice smal gentleman's folder...
Nice watch. Don't like cyclops on a Pamerai or a Rolex. I don't get a watch with diver heritage with a date. But it's a great looking watch and at least the cyclops doesn't bump out
Hey Anthony! Learning Japanese? Have fun with Kanji! :-D!!
haha im from rhode island. I recognize the newspaper as soon as you open the box
That's a shiny Biggin!
I'm still in your why-should-I-buy-a-Panerei-when-I-can-get-aRolex-phase. However, it's not because of the in-house vs. ETA movements. All my Pams have been Radiomirs. In fact, I've got a new 721 on order.
The 721 is classic, very understated...for a panerai.
Looks like your serial number is 544854
Could never get Panerai. Far too big, and the crown guards aargh.
keep the cardboard box. its part of the triple box set that some collectors like.
whats with all this secrecy ?
Memmnarch1981 I'd do the same. I fucking hate people and don't want them to know jackshit about me or where or how I source my product. Sorry too many lowlifes out there.
im sorry, i was not specific. To hide the Adress i can fully understand. I meant the Numbers on the Paperwork.
I bought one of these for 1,200 on Home Shopping Network
nice watch but if im honest it looks too big
You sound like Timothy Olyphant.
😪😪👌🏽👌🏽🌹🌹nice
SET YOU FOCUS ON THE SUBJECT YOU WANT TO SHOOT THEN TURN AUTO FOCUS TO (OFF) ....... MY GOD!!!!!!!
You wear it on the wrong wrist.
Congrats on the beautiful watch!
