Love the fact that Panerai’s are undervalued these days. A bargain to be had on the secondary market.

nice to see another watch channel sprout up - very much enjoy your videos. a suggestion to help the watcher, as you are giving your commentary, it would be good to put up text of say the Model # of the watch - i know you say it but it is much easier to see the picture and see the model number clearly for memory

I LOV the Pam 111 and the manual wind 8day movements , the display backs are a nice touch too, you can pick these up really cheap now that the bottoms fell out of panerai stock.
Oh gosh you all wouldn't have know this yet would you back in 2016...? It's so kool You must try it Armand.

I am liking the Panerai blue dial more and more. To buy or not to buy? A Radiomir? In blue livery. I’m almost there.

+MickyP4: I would definitely get the PAM 90 as I think that it has a more authentic look. Both are beautiful though!

Serious divers would like the plain dial because the legibility is greater. Just a heads up. Divers will understand what I mean :)

I dive 2x a week, both free diving and tank diving, these Panerais will crack and get scratched up in one dive. Guaranteed. Try lugging two tanks through a shore or rocky entry with a Panerai. It’s a posers watch, especially since they started “Value engineer” their watches using drop in ETA and 30m depth bs.

The Panerai Due is a DRESS WATCH....with 30m WR...their divers are >= 300m WR. Get your facts corrected.

You skipped right over the pam 164 and only one more watch. Failure, better luck next time A.

That’s what makes them special...large tool watches that have great visibility and presence. Moreover, they make 38mm versions for your feminine wrists.

I never got what all the fuzz is about when it comes to Panerai. I think they're ugly as hell. The same with Patek Philippe. :P But, it's a taste thing.

As a watch enthusiast for 50 years and a frequent visitor to Switzerland, I have never understood the reverence for Patek Philippe. A fine company and workmanship to be certain, but anything beyond their traditional and basic designs has always left me cold.
Being an engineer and a minimalist I love simplicity, and above all fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. PP complications remind me that these movements are much more likely to fail, and when they do will cost a king's random to repair.
Much like Rolex, PP tends to rely on its public image and nuance rather than substance. Much like Rolex, I believe they produce too much; 1M and 50K per year respectively.
I love fine brands but like many, I detest those that are snobby. That's why I would prefer a Vacheron, IWC or Piaget over any other. Piaget is unique in that today although owned by Richemont, members of the founding family still work within the firm. The same is true of Louis Vuitton. I love family legacy companies that were built by men working with their hands, whose names adorn the fine products they create. In my view, that makes them special indeed. To me, history counts!
