Great tutorial guys! I do kind of like your old logo better, but the new one still looks alright. I felt the same about the "new" HitFilm logo when it first came out, but now I think that it looks cool, so hopefully that's what it will be like with the new FXhome logo.
Great tutorial. I'm wondering as why couldn't we use some kind of hitfilm and unreal engine workflow solution instead of just blender and hitfilm, seeing as The Mandalorian uses megascans and the use of part of Unreal Engine's virtual production pipelines to easily pull of those shots and use high quality assets, which are both free with a free epic games account. We can still do all of this from home and with an iphone as well but with better quality that way. Plus we wouldn't have to wait for blender's cycles, which is impressive but is significantly slower than rendering any 3d object in UE4 or UE5 early access. I currently render out any blender models i need and bring them into UE4 and if its a film kinda project, there is both a film and virtual production template available to speed up the process with a not too difficult learning curve, even for beginners. I do understand it takes a lot of the work away from hitfilm to just post edits. But an easier solution with better quality and more options to be creative is what we want right?

I have to bought all things ATM mini Pro, BlackMagic, HTC vive Pro, tracker, greem screem wall some lights etc... Also its very well to working Unreal Engine real time chroma key vive tracking btw. But i cant find any tutorials like realtime green screen with HTC vive tracking chroma key Someone know how to connecting like this Virtual Set step by step? Any tutorials? #blendercommunity
In Blender 3.0.0 when I play my scene from camera after 300-400 frames its just turns off completely Blender. This is the first time blender has closed due to some kind of error. What to do? RTX 3070 with stable drivers. Try on other PC with Blender 3.1.2, and there your addon didnt install.
Great tutorial, Javert! I've been working with Blender for CG environments -- my main issue I have is the Cycles render engine is very slow. Eevee is much faster, but not as photorealistic. I noticed that this composite shot is 60 fps -- how long did it take to render out the Blender CG plate, if I may ask?
Glad you enjoyed! This environment was put together by Zach, and I believe he mentioned that the render took a weekend. I asked Tom for Cycles tips and he said: "The trick with Eevee is to bake in your lighting and HDRIs using the Light Prone feature. This applies ambient lighting, better reflections and shadows. Increasing the samples will also help get it closer to the export from Cycles, all in half the time to render." - Javert
