The 501st clone trooper legion is crazy! These are just a few of the things that the 501st Legion got to experience. With Captain Rex leading the 501st, there was rarely a dull moment during The Clone Wars and leading up to Order 66. Many iconic clones came from the 501st like Fives, Echo, Jesse, Hardcase and Rex.
the saddest part was the 212th and the 501st battling and the homeless clone it was heartbreaking to see how obi wan still gave him credits even though he knew what they had done
Yeah, the whole Umbara arc was tragic. They really took our emotions for a spin
@@newgate-zerohour i agree
@James Webb how did he figure out tho
Maybe he found out about the inhibitor chip
@@ventris425productions5 I imagine he heard about what happened to Fives and put two and two together.
Captain Rex is a badass clone commander.
I agree.💙🤍
He’s a captain.
@@anandavirmed578 thank you
@@anandavirmed578 Until he gets promoted to commander, which is a thing that happens...
@@SteelstormYT he never much liked being commander anyway
Plus, it's led by one of the greatest Jedi who does come up with some crazy plans from time to time.
I think that clone knew that was Obi wan. I loved that scene because it may have just been Obi wan giving this guy a few credits but I think in this moment that both of them realized they were just pawns. I'm probably reading too much into this but there is no way that clone didn't know that was Obi wan since it was a 501st soldier.
Wouldn't he still need to fulfill order-66 though?
@@izmakk4006 maybe it had gone past its use or malfunctioned afterwards
@@izmakk4006 i think they were probably deactivated after Palpatine replaced the clones for humans after the war, like i don't see the point in keeping it active
@agus_pax Agreed, they were retired. It's possible the chip had malfunctioned, as well. But, back to retirement, the clones were old, had served their purpose, and the Empire had the Inquisitors and Lord Vader chasing down the Jedi, with conscripted and enlisted non-Clone Stormtroopers serving as the main army, but only as auxiliaries to the Inquisitors when hunting down Jedi. So, yeah, you're spot-on.
I wish it would've been Commander Cody.
501st is nearly crazy as 212th legion in my opinion.
Your opinions right
What makes the 212th crazy?
@@simpleclonetrooper2740 remember that absolute trooper that got on top of that spider droid and shot from the top
@@ccanthony887 Ok yeah that was pretty crazy ngl.

Gotta say , 501st has SO much painful deaths than any other company
What about the 212th?
I do agree with this, yet the tv show is mostly based on the 501st legion. We hardly get to see other clone legions so I feel like there would be badass moments in other legions if the 501st wasn’t the sole focus of the tv show.
Always found it odd that a the grizzled trooper was wearing his armor in public. That stuff was not cheap and I would have thought the Empire would have stripped it from all retired clones. If they went rogue & became criminals like many did then it would make law enforcement's job harder as only a blaster could stop them. This also doesn't even address the body changes an ill fed and out of shape trooper would go through then having to wear his fitted body suit.
your not entirely wrong, most clones that "chose to retire" had the option to keep their armor. that and clones in the army were still wearing their republic armor and continue to do so till they are eventually wiped out of the empire (only a select few survive past the conversion to stormtrooper with most either turning against or flat out becoming higher ranks.)
this info is gathered from legends cannon, but bad batch does show us that the clones wear their armor past the start of the empire, which only season 2 can actually answer if any in current cannon change to storm troopers.
I guess you could say charger had an electrifying death.
ye :(
lmao yea poor guy
that's shocking

I know I’m 2 months late to the party, but this channel is great. It’s always crazy to think about how the 501st had the highest casualty rate but also had the highest success rate in the GAR.
Glad you enjoy the channel! And, yeah, the 501st is nuts! Haha
the clones are one of the best characters in the series
Same
Anyone else notice that when Tup killed Tiplar, the shot sounded like a death trooper rifle?
If we'd ever get a commando Show you could do one of these about delta. Fighting whole battalions by themselves, exploding stuff, being actually proffesional-the most crazy thing of All.
To be fair, the 501st was lead by Anakin Skywalker who was known for improvising on the fly
What is your favorite 501st moment?
Rex fighting along side with jedi.
when they die
Homeless 501st clone.💙🤍
501st (and 212th) fighting Krell
Rex jumping off an explosion to get a boost on umbara

It would of been a cool easter egg if the veteran clone was maybe dogma or alpha some clone we met in the series. Heck maybe even if it was rex in disguise
forgot to show them getting vaporized by umbaran tanks
501st legion having the most personality and character development out of all legions.
Also having the most screen time in the clone wars
0:49 they didnt try to, they had to but didnt want to. They never tried to.
Surprised the vertical assault or ambushing ships with AT-TEs wasn't included
Don’t forget the citadel
00:12 I feel so sorry for him, he fought, but he was thrown out to be homeless
"Heh, at least we're not running amok as pirates, bounty hunters, mercs, and Rebel scum." - probably some kooky retired trooper from the Legion.
I think that clone is commander Appo of the 501st
@@greenyellow3252 Impossible, he died on Kashyyyk as shown in Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader.
I still think that the clone recognized Obi-Wan
In my head Canon that clone is Appo. Appo had his kneecap cut out by Jett Lucassen during order 66, and probably couldn’t serve afterward.
Appo appeared later on in a comic.
Vader's first was treated like both Vader's real fists
0:45, End of the Clone Wars Series
This is where the fun begins
its sad when clones die:(
What about marching on the Jedi temple?
Another title for this video could be the 501st taking after there general
Getting speared... Nothing like a simula... wait it was not in the simulations!
You missed when they started brawling with mandalorians
Jesse had way to much drip in season 7.
Tup had early access
Don't forget they punch droids
Rex getting shot with a sniper too
The bit with Jesse from season 7 is not the 501st it’s the 332nd
332nd is a subdivision of the 501st
The 332nd was a subdivision of the 501st, like how the Foxtrot Commandos were a subdivision of the 212th.
Also, Jesse was part of the 501st his entire career. To nitpick that in season 7 he was in a different group is just you being pedantic and obtuse.
The only reason they made a “separate” division was so they could help Ahsoka and the Mandolorians capture Maul.
Jesse still wore the blue of the 501st
@@dancingcarapace as did most of the 332nd
Do the 104th please
Ok I just gotta say- charger got charged
Did the first clip say who’s ready to die
And also train group a republic solider
I wish I was an expendable clone in the 501st...
The 501st wasn't made homeless by the Empire. They continued service. And also, there are the words 'retirement' and 'pension', which were both available. If the clones didn't know how money worked or were easily scammed, that's not the Empire's problem
@Richard Violet Yeah, but I don't consider Filoni's works fully Disney Canon. If there is an alternate source that contradicts what his 'lore' says, then I take it.
I mean, it kind of was the Empire’s problem. That’s the point. These clones were likely never taught much of anything about life outside of the military. They were bred to be soldiers. They were only trained to be soldiers. That’s why they were so good at what they did. But when the ones who remained under Imperial service finally grew too old and retired, they were let out into the Galaxy, obviously with nothing but their armor. So what are they going to do? They’re too old to be a mercenary, or for any hard labor. They don’t have any practical skills beyond combat. The Empire failed to prepare them for life outside of the military, and didn’t provide them any support upon retirement.
This is meant to be somewhat allegorical for the USA’s treatment of veterans, specifically combat veterans. Many of them went into service right out of high school and have no practical life skills whatsoever, along with combat-related trauma. And the US government provides little support, and especially for those who need it the most.
@Richard Violet Filoni isn't DisCanon, he has gone against a lot of their lore (like Imperial uniform implementation, stormtrooper aim, etc). His shit doesn't fit in either version, it is just that Disney has had to accommodate his bs so that the fans will stay.
@Richard Violet The 501st still exists after Order 66 mate, and we know that the 'phasing out' was just massive deployment numbers of all clone reserves. Clones filled every role that wasn't of importance, they became navy and army troopers as well as stormtroopers, and they flew the ships and lost the initial skirmishes.
@Richard Violet Disney has improved the franchise in some ways. They explored Tarkin, they've highlighted Mustafar, Kanan and his comic story ties in nicely with legends, as do many of Marvel's comics, such as the excellent explanation for the Mon Cala uprising (which in Legends was just some random impromptu thing that just... happens), they have definitely improved stormtroopers, although most of that work is in media that most people don't have the time or don't care enough to access, such as books and video games, since TV is Filonis domain, where he prowls around decanonising sources from both lore points.
Executing order 66 early 😂😂😂😂

What season/episode did the 501st and the 212 fight in?
Umbara arc
Well, what do you expect from the 501st Legion? It's commanded by one of the nuttiest jedis with "unique" plans.
For example, in the Zillo Beast videos, you see Anakin, Padame, and the Chancellor getting out of a ship on top of a building, and Mace Windu just questioning what Anakin's up to.
Obi Wan just says, "Looks like one of his 'improvised' plans."

Think about it this way. If all clones are roughly the same age, and this one looks like that, do you think the others are in fighting condition?
@@askmeaboutsugma what some people don’t get is there are some clones from the beginning of the war who by the time of Kenobi probably retired anyway.
